  2. Well boys and girls, it's the last video before season opens for us bow hunters! Enjoy, wish y'all good luck, and please wear your harness if you're getting in a stand this year!

  3. I knew that wasn't her in the picture. That girl was too thick to be the cop and doesn't look like her in the face. Now the noise complaints are another story. That could be possible. Police are already trying to smear the victim by saying he had weed in his apartment. I don't care if he had kilos of Cocaine and a dead hooker. It has nothing to do with this case. It's a sad shameful attempt by the cops to make him look bad.

  4. Yep. A man with a nice piece of land has a tendency to have children who want nothing to do with it. I'm fortunate enough to live on such a piece of land. The thought of living in a subdivision terrifies me and gives me anxiety. I like my "safe space" out here in the woods. I don't understand the though process of selling a farm to go live trailer park close to a bunch of other people. Subdivisions have literally become trailer park living for rich people. One of my neighbors owns 400+ acres, his kids want nothing to do with it. He's elderly, when he dies it will be subdivided, 720 houses across the street from me. I hate it, but I can't buy it all up. A strong economy will cause the demise of the Tennessee country side.

  7. Here are a couple of pics of a knife that I had him build for me. I got the idea from looking at some Randall Knives and asked him if he could put his spin on a Randall 1-8, and he came through. I can't wait to get this knife in my hands. Thanks again Don and who ever made the Randall style sheath to go along with it.

  8. Today I lost my best friend of 13 years. It is surreal coming home and not having him greet you and follow you everywhere you go. Always trying to sneak food. And then having him pass away in your arms hearing how much I love him. I hoped this day would never come. And it came way too soon. I will always miss you Mario.

  14. Update.... Lying to the FBI. We all know how that turns out. One Deputy made a plea deal, (probably because they needed him to testify) and one Deputy headed to trial on some serious Federal charges, and then state charges for the felony assault. Unless he cuts a deal. https://www.tennessean.com/story/news/local/cheatham/2018/09/12/cheatham-county-sheriff-sgt-gary-ola-pleads-guilty-taser-incident/1279649002/

  15. I don’t know why Trump wants to create the ‘Space Force” other than going down in history was the one that did it. The need is obvious; however it’s being done with what we have now. I think all our branches of Military should become one. I bet it would save billions. United States Military; what a concept.

  17. Just a thought can shooting be considered part of the first amendment , freedom of expression? Be careful of your potential neighbors, house next to me sits on 5 ac. tract, owner cut 1 ac out for his son. Original owner passed about a year ago house and 4 ac were in a reverse mortgage Long story shortened, foreclosure house up for sale. Retired engineer from Montana first to look at it, wanted seclusion, no noise, sorry ain't gonna happen here on 4 acs.. You want seclusion you need 100+ acres or more. Hear gun fire here all the time no body complains. This is farm country here if you don't want to hear loud farm machinery and smell manure you need to go somewhere else.

  18. Well, I'm new to the forum but live in Beautiful Downtown Hilham, well within 35 minutes of Cookeville, and there are several properties around here that would fit your bill. Most are "pocket listings" so you have to get to know the owners but the terain is perfect for home ranges and, since just about everyone around here has one, nobody complains. Look around Standing Stone State Forest, and you should find exactly what you need. Good Luck and happy shooting!

  19. Radiation exposure. Either someone mishandling an isotope emitter or some piece of equipment malfunctioning and emitting enough radiation sonewhere on the spectrum to set off a sensor at the post office.

  20. Think how cool it would be if there were communities built with gun ranges like there are golf courses. Of course it could be a risky proposition.... https://www.wsmv.com/news/macon-county-community-concerned-about-proposed-gun-range/article_e6521ad2-a08e-5fc8-8f45-cd8f5c5e44db.html

  22. So, I said my FAL needed a friend... Friend of mine who works at GT sent me a message cause he knew I’ve been after a decent older one at a fairly low price. I believe it’s a Mark III, 1990 production year by the serial #. She’s gonna get some wood grips and I’ll decide whether or not she’ll get a new finish after cleaning out the crud and rust. Now I guess I really do need to get on finding some Rhodie shorts in size “fat”.

  23. That's about the size of it. And the sign is sort of "half right". If you don't fall under one of the exceptions (HCP being one of them), weapon possession is still forbidden for you, - OS

  25. When my friend got married he planned on staying married for ever. He made great money and she wanted for nothing she didn't get including giving up his boat and nothing was enough for her. She did mention that she wished he could be around more and he said he did to but there was no way he could not make a living and put food on the table. He didn't divorce her. She divorced him. Now he has a complete new outlook on marriage. He says it's for married people. He is getting ready to buy a new Peterbilt next month. He will be trading in his 2010 on a 2018. He said when he trades trucks the 2010 will have been to the moon and back and have 480,000+ miles on it. He is contracted with Land Star freight Company. They give him a load going to California and when he unloads In California He goes and picks up another load they have waiting for him out there to bring back east. He hauls two big Ford vans west and brings a load of Hot Tubs back east. He began driving for his Uncle at age 18 and at age 20 bought his first rig of his own. He just turned 36 years old and is debt free. When he buys his new Peterbilt he will write a check for it. His contract with Land Star ends in 10 years and in 10 years he plans on retiring and going fishing. I asked him about how confortable he felt with leaving his cabin in the woods with the truck and boat and just an alarm system and he said he also has a childhood friend he went to school with staying at the Cabin as added protection and an AR15. His friend is disabled and Steven kind of looks out for him and visa versa. Stevens Nephew makes sure there is plenty of food there for Cecil and checks in on him often. Well, I'm sure folks are tired of reading such a long post but I am bored today so typing helps me with that. Hope ya'll understand................

  26. I grew up in an abusive alcoholic home. I remember being terrified of my father as a child. He chose to die of alcoholism 2 1/2 years ago. I can't tell you how many times he kicked my ass and my mother allowed it. That being said, I think you being a bit sensitive. Nothing Torino said was offensive, accusatory, or insensitive.

  27. It's oil and water. There's more than a few cops who've got a chip on their shoulder about being (dis)respected. They tend to be forced to interact with people predisposed to disrespect authority. It's a recipe for disaster.
