  2. A judge has extended the ban. The judge also said Defense Distributed’s First Amendment concerns were “dwarfed” by the states’ safety considerations. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-court-guns/u-s-judge-extends-ban-of-online-3-d-printed-gun-blueprints-idUSKCN1LC1UF Cody was right. 6. That’s very true. You can tell them that but they won’t listen. I do enjoy that they are tipping their hand and showing their true colors. These folks have no concern or care for any of your rights at all.

  16. I don't often make it up to Knoxville, but I might could make something work. I'll PM you if so. See, what you describe is what has me a bit hesitant. Practice/training is everything, but I definitely want to try it out before sinking $500+ into a setup. The Trijicon I would want alone is that. I'd hate to do it and then decide I don't like it. I may check a local range that has a few rentals to see if they have some sort of setup to try.

  18. Perhaps he's conflating hunting regs. Meaning, for many years there has been nothing you can legally hunt in this state with buckshot. And of course you can't possess a prohibited gun/ammo during the act of hunting whether you're actually using it or not. Splitting hairs as to whether that includes in your vehicle too I guess. - OS

  19. Even though it means letting go of one's ego, the best, smartest, and most "tactical" thing to ever do is avoid pulling a gun if possible. There are circumstances that warrant it, but there are many circumstances that don't warrant it. Even if you can de-escalate/leave a situation that warrants it, it is likely for the better for you not to. Ultimately, even if you are 100% in the right, wouldn't you rather go home to your family after a verbal "fight" in a parking lot rather than spend hours being questioned by police after a "good shoot", potentially followed by criminal or civil action depending on the details. I pick go home, take a shower rinsing yourself of your shame for leaving, have some whiskey on the rocks, and be glad you have the freedom to do that in your own house that someone isn't trying to take away from you.

  20. This scenario always comes to mind when I hear homeowners get charged for shooting at, or shooting fleeing home invaders. The perp has already shown the propensity for violence by forcibly entering a home, who knows what would of happened if not challenged, or what they will now do to the next victim. Same with carjackers, they already showed they are willing to act violently, keeping them from doing it to others should be taken into account if there is any question of self-defense.

  21. http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2018/08/27/carol-burnett-star-tim-conway-is-battling-dementia-and-is-almost-entirely-unresponsive-report-says.html Sad to have a great comedian go this way. The thought of Tim Conway brings back a lot of memories of him absolutely cracking me up on film and T.V. He and Harvey Korman would have me rolling on the floor with their skits. This sucks!
