  2. Florida is a great example of the east coast issues. It was taken over by all of the folks moving down from the Northeast. One of the worst things to hear is new people moving into a state saying "well we did it this way in... Wherever...". We like it here the way it is. I'd you want to change it we recommend you move somewhere else. Now, I cannot of course speak for everyone but I know a lot of folks are tired of the big city folks trying to tell everyone else how they should live. So move out of the left leaning states before the kids get indoctrinated. Just realize it is different here and we like it just the way it is, well, for the most part. There are some left leaning folks in the big cities with some ideas we are not happy about.

  3. The real takeaway is that one needs to ensure that when they’re ready to get down, their holster is as well.

  4. Exactly. It was definitely laying harmlessly on the floor until he grabbed it. Yet every time the news shows it they say it fired when it hit the floor...because everyone knows that what guns do. Edit: I stand corrected...ABC News just showed, in slow motion, how it didn't discharge until he grabbed it.

  5. I've lived in St. Louis and Houston. Nashville isn't all that big IMO. It has just outgrown its infrastructure in a way that won't be fixed in my lifetime. I don't want to spend a huge portion of my life waiting to get where I am going. I HATE traffic, especially when they are all on the damn phone. Like I said... been here for 25 years.

  7. I don't think it's that bad. Knoxville was way worse in the early 90's. But he's right, there are parts of the town you would want to avoid. Last year Knox News published an interactive map that showed all the murders for 2017. Nearly all were confined to one part of town. I think this applies to any medium to big city though. It's kinda sad that nearly every MLK blvd in any US City is going to be an area that you want to lock your doors.

  8. It's actually just TT Gunleather; there is not an "and" in there. Tim Thurner is the name of the craftsman behind it.

  9. At 64 I’ve had to slow down on the back flips while clubbing, or jumping fences. But when I do; most all of my holsters have thumb breaks and are secured to my belt.

  10. Doing a back flip with an unsecured weapon isn’t negligent; it is reckless. (No matter who does it) Just goes to show that even when properly trained; some just don’t get it. A person was shot. I suspect the agent will be charged. The victim will get a big payday. I also doubt his duty status will be a factor. It doesn’t look to me like it went off when it hit the floor. It looks like it went off when he grabbed it.

  11. Never pull the trigger until you want the gun to go bang is right in there too.

  12. Use poster board, or the heavy cardboard from the back of a legal pad as wads. Apply a heavy roll crimp and seal the over shot wad with nail polish. The powder needs back pressure to burn properly.

  14. We are indeed a dying breed. Most of the nation is a bunch of creampuffs dependent on someone else to feed and protect them as well as tell them what to do. May God save the republic....
