  1. I have the model that came with the Insight laser. I had issues with it form the beginning. The battery would drain really quick. Sent it back to S&W the first time and not sure what they did besides replace the batteries. Sent it off again a few weeks ago after readiung on a web site that they would replace the entire laser with a Crimson Trace model at no cost. Contact their customker service and confirmed that, removed the laser form the gun and mailed it back. Got a new CT model in the ,ail about 3-4 weeks later. Drop in installation and it seems fine.

  2. We met up with the guy and I was able to get one of my suppressors the other one still waiting, but at least the owner held his end of the transaction up. Granted we had to search tooth and nail for him.

  3. It's a very bad scene. I've known Sheriff Jeff Bledsoe for a very long time, and he is a very fine man, and a Godly man. His administration has had to go through this twice now. Please be praying for him, and for the deputy's family. Good hunting brothers. Good hunting.

  4. Years ago, I was with a local bank that was bought out to B of A. Had a truck financed there. I was sending my payments in, but would get a statement every month not showing the credit. The lady at the local branch told me to not pay another dime until they got it straitened out, because it was just like throwing money away, if my payments weren't showing as a credit on my account. It got so bad they almost repoed the truck and I never was able to get it off my credit report (it finally just went away due to time). I got that straitened out, paid the truck off, made sure all the checks I had written was cleared, and walked in there one day and demanded all my money right there on the spot. From that moment on, I've have always dealt with a local bank only. That is getting harder to do with all the buyouts. There has even been rumors that the bank I'm with now was thinking of selling out. I've told my banker that the day that happens, I'm gone. I'll bury my money under a stump before I ever let B of A get ahold of any of it again.

  5. The S&W Bodyguard I traded for my model 85 had a CT on it and BT put quite a few rounds through that Bodyguard after he got it and said the laser never fail to be on target. His wife has it now since he passed away.

  6. Thanks again, for your help. A poster over on the TC Contender site said Brownells had .410 choke tubes for the Contender .410. I called them and talked to their "tech" guy. They're listed as Beretta choke tubes, but we think they will fit. The threads are up near the muzzle and the threads are coarser than Rem-choke tubes. I ordered a modified and an improved cylinder tube, even got a discount. $48.93 for the two, shipped. I'd say that is very reasonable. They are Mobilchoke choke tubes. Full refund if they do not fit. I like dealing with Brownells.

  7. CT is, in my opinion, excellent. Have CT lasers on several and plan to add more.

  8. You can’t open carry without one either. Tennessee issues a Handgun Carry Permit. The style of carry is not defined.

  9. Did a bit of cleanin here a few minutes ago... Things are definitely better now... I flushed everything in the slide and in the trigger group with a bit of Ronsonol (...that's right... lighter fluid... It is a great cleaner for oily or gummy parts... Learned the trick from a photographer buddy...) and a bit of Blue Lube, then a few drops of Tuff Glide... leroy...
