BOA isn’t a terrible company because of this. They are a terrible company because of their overall business practices. They simultaneously make the case for government regulation with the way the operate to the public detriment and against government regulation with the way in which they buy the legislators and regulators who pretend to keep them in line.

When she gets the axe and they reverse their actions, I may consider doing business with them again, but for now I'm out. I have no problem with people (or corporations) having a stance, but when their actions are contrary or a detriment to our Constitution, I will vote with my feet, and $$.

False. School shootings/massacres have been happening since the colonial days. A Google search brought this up as it's first result. This is only school shootings. Mass Shootings have their own page. Ten of the twenty-two deadliest fall outside of your ten to twenty year criteria as well. The list of Rampage Killings (6+) shows that only three of the top ten have happened in the last twenty-one years. What has changed is the way in which we receive our news, and how it is fed to us. Human beings are the most violent species on the face of the earth. They have been killing one another since the second generation according to some written accounts. Similar atrocities have been occurring as long as humans have inhabited the earth, all written accounts are testimony to that. There is not finger to point the blame at. It is not society. Not ancient nor modern. It is the human psyche itself.

Not sure I agree with you there. They can't possibly have a positive impact. Much more likely to just piss people off. IMO, corporate political activism is almost always stupid. And stupid is always bad. "Shut up and sing" may be harsh, but it's not stupid.

It's the speed of modern life. 50+ years ago, a large percentage of people would never hear of such events. Most wouldn't hear about it until weeks or months after it happened. Today, millions of people get live coverage while it's happening. And as you've stated, the talking heads have gotta talk about something. The nightly news used to be an hour a day (4% of the day). Now it's 24/7 (100%). That's quite an increase.

Another 70 rounds through mine tonight with zero issues. I'm now up to 790 rounds with a variety of ammo - JHP, FMJ, 115, 124, 147, +P, etc... without a single failure to feed, eject or hold the slide back. Did I have an issue with the rear sight, yep. Did Sig take care of it, yep. Have there been some issues and QC issues that escaped the factory, yep. Could they have done a little better and longer testing period, maybe. Are some of the issues being overblown, probably.

I speak as a guy that was in general not an M&P fan. That changed when the .45 Shield appeared. Dumped my G36 for one, and never regretted it. I would pick the Shield over the 43, easily.
