  2. Hi, Fred, this is Richard, next door. I’ve got a confession to make. I’ve been riddled with guilt for a few months and have been trying to get up the courage to tell you face-to-face. At least I’m telling you in this text and I can’t live with myself a minute longer without you knowing about this. The truth is that when you’re not around I’ve been sharing your wife, day and night. In fact, probably much more than you. I haven’t been getting it at home recently and I know that that’s no excuse. The temptation was just too great. I can’t live with the guilt and hope you’ll accept my sincere apology and forgive me. Please suggest a fee for usage and I’ll pay you. Regards, Richard Neighbor’s response: Fred, feeling so angered and betrayed, grabbed his gun and shot Richard, killing him. He went back home and poured himself a stiff drink and sat down on the sofa. Fred then looked at his phone and discovered a second text message from Richard. Second text message: Hi, Fred. Richard here again. Sorry about the typo on my last text. I expect you figured it out and noticed that the damned Auto-Correct had changed “wi-fi” to “wife.” Technology, huh? It’ll be the death of us all. Regards, Richard

  3. I imagine many are watching Rick Scott’s senate campaign very closely to see what they can get away with.

  4. Middle Tennessee Shooters Club in Manchester will be hosting a United Multigun League match on Sunday June 3rd. The UML ruleset can be found here http://unitedmultigunleague.com/uml-rules/ The following divisions will be recognized, tac optics, tac irons, heavy tac, open, 2x4 tactical, 2x4 open, pcc, 2gun (rifle/pistol) plus our traditional Heavy Metal division. With all the options available to the shooters it is difficult to give an exact round count but if you're shooting one of the 3 gun divisions 100 for each gun should be enough. For 2 gun bring 150 for each and pcc should bring 250 to 300. We will be shooting 5 stages, longest shot will be around 200 yards. No slings necessary. There will be a link posted for early sign up on practiscore or sign up at the match. Registration will be from 1100 to noon and we'll get started promptly thereafter. Match fee is $25 for non members of the range and $20 for members. If this will be your first time shooting a match please arrive early for a new shooters orientation. I can be reached here or at sumocrp@aol.com with any questions.

  8. Is killing someone not the epitome of a "Hate Crime"? Where did the country go wrong on that entire issue? Enough of protected classes, violence is violence regardless of the victim or criminal. Start hanging killers quickly again and see how fast some of this stops. Of course there are arguments about abuse of the legal system so the convicted may actually be innocent. Start with the folks caught on tape or that have admitted their crimes. Look at the school shooters! Whay are they still alive? Is there any question they are guilty? Nope! Then out back they go and they get shot or hung that day! That is a deterrent!

  9. Watch you go out of context. You want some Hillary quotes on guns? I am smart enough to know what Trump meant, that he was doing his normal unfiltered spew, and that the MSNBC version of this is AS WRONG as everything MSNBC has ever said about him. Anyway. Yes. Hillary is worse in my feeble opinion.

  10. Right, left or center, anyone making death threats should go to prison. They only do it because they think they can get away with it. They need to be shown how wrong they are.

  11. And the Parkland students have received death threats from the right. Both sides have their share of horrible people.

  12. Precisely why I have no desire to go south of the border. Good kit. I recently had to fly on a last minute work trip. I had little time or transportation while there. So I threw some paracord, electrical tape (small and explainable by my job), a small pen light, a carabiner (secondary use like the bottle opener) and a sturdy pen in my bag. Once there I did have dinner free the 1st night. I had a fantastic prime rib washed down with a Drafty Kilt Ale...or 2...in the hotel resturaunt. On the way out I might have palmed my steak knife. Back in the room, I made a makeshift sheath from paperboard and electrical tape. That rode nicely in my sock for the rest of the days. At the end, I tossed the sheath and left the knife in my room as seemingly a room service forgotten item. Now I know this was far from ideal, but it got me a option.

  13. The NRA gets more mileage out of the threat of costing votes. Yeah, they're efficient and pretty effective more times than not. It's why they get more money from me than the Repubs.

  15. And if he wins it will embolden republicans across the country that regardless of their NRA rating, they can do whatever they want.

  17. It may make a good varmint caliber. May even be a good White Tail gun. Just saying that if you are going to exploit the true benefits, it's a reach out target caliber. The Grendel is probably a better hunter because of the bigger bullets. I own two of them, which is a good reason for me to pass on the 224. Both of my Grendels are still supersonic at 1000 yards, and both are match barrels.

  18. I agree with Prag. I don’t think anyone thought you were promoting them at all. I just think there’s still a lot of bitterness over the downstream effects of their decision to commit suicide. You’d have to come up in here and say “Hillary is running again in 2020!” to get as visceral of a reaction.
