As I get older, it doesn't take much to make me happy. Just a little peace and quiet. I worked on my boat, fixed a plow, swept my basement, plowed my garden an my neighbor's garden, mowed my mother in law's yard and her brother's yard. The weather was beautiful, everyone is healthy, and it's been a great day. The next pretty day I don't have to work, I plan to go out in the boat and see if the fish are biting.

Yeah, if you have a mill or access to one an 80% lower is pretty easy. If you have to use a jig or a drill press you won’t save any money and will probably have suspect quality. Lowers are cheap.

This just made my Friday. Watching Dave Grohl's reactions after he pulled this guy onstage in Austin on Wednesday is just great. No way he was expecting that level of competence: Got other examples of people just shining when they get their moment in the light? Post it up.

#49 arrived today -this is an excellent knife! It will be carried, but another knife will get the rough tasks.

I’ve owned two of them: a Colt defender and a springer ( I’ve had other manufacturers in govt and commander size). My dislike was solely the puckered butthole every time they would stovepipe. When I go to the range , I very rarely run fewer than 200 rounds through a pistol. Im dumb enough to expect zero failures. I’ve never had a 1911 that would pass this test. Trips back to the manufacturer , money spent at the smith for polishing and deburring , lots of money spent on new and improved mags, and even changed manufacturers (from colt to Springfield). A failure makes me put a weapon in a safe and not put back on my person. I guess I’m just chickensh&$ like that . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Steve, these knives are absolutely amazing in every way. This is the pinnacle of what you've been able to do for TGO with Pro-Tech and I can't thank you or them enough. Anyone who opted to sit this one out for any reason other than having to meet other obligations first, should just hate themselves for skipping it. I am completely blown away by the quality of this knife. Wow. Just wow.

You're right. What a total waste. Discounting or donating them to law enforcement, or the armed forces, would have been perfect. After all, these are "military grade" "weapons of war." But then again, a lot of the Antis hate the cops, and the armed forces too. Oh well....................
