I've wanted to do this for a long time. I don't even know the total cost yet but I know it wasn't cheap (for me anyway). Build list: Daniel Defense MK18 URG SilencerCo ASR flash hider Spikes Crusader lower receiver Surefire M300c Scout light (500 lumen) with Surefire SR07 remote dual switch and UE tailcap Thorntail SBR scout mount Magpul sling adapter Magpul MS3 Gen 2 coyote sling Geiselle SD3G trigger assembly Trijicon MRO 2 moa red dot American Defense QD mount BCM QD end plate Midwest Industries QD sling attachment Sig SBM4 brace Magpul MOE+ grip Midwest Industries buffer tube assembly Spikes Tactical ST-T2 buffer Seekins Precision bolt catch and mag release button Geissele super charging handle Daniel Defense fixed front sight. Not sure if I want to use the fixed rear as of now. Probably go with flip up rear. Unknown manufacturer ambi safety selector All remaining lower parts were from my stash of extra parts. I don't think I left anything out. I'm really excited to get some time on the range with this setup. The length of the MI buffer tube and the SBM4 brace seem like a good fit for me as of now. I plan on getting a stamp for this lower and leave this setup alone once approved.1 point

My wife has a kydex holster from The Well Armed Woman https://thewellarmedwoman.com/product/waistband-convertible-holster-well-armed-woman-custom-models-colors/ and a leather holster made for her by @gjohnsoniv We had to heat the kydex one to reduce the retention a bit. It was so tight you'd give yourself a wedgie on the draw.1 point

Look forward to your review. After watching the video about the Sumatra rifle I may have to look into getting something like this. Below are a couple of photos of my set up charging a Crosman Challenger rifle.1 point

Chili is always better the 2nd day. Takes a long time for the flavors to mingle. Sure looks tasty.1 point

I never quite understood why the 1911a1 was taken from military service. Does anyone have hard, objective data on this? Understand, I once had a chance to check out Janes' smalll arms volume, and one thing that stuck in my head was the line to the effect,"Overall, the 1911 series of semiautomatic pistol may be regarded as one of the finest combat pistols in the world."1 point

It's collusion that's what it is! Really? The article linked is poorly written by a Glock fanboy using press releases, etc. Many of the photos appear to be staged, some look like the people have never shot a handgun before. Aside from the Glock vs Sig nonsense. I'm sure that any issues will be worked out. The military has worked through problems many times in the past. Move on nothing to see here..... This is worse than watching the news lately. That said I think that FortyFive (ironic that is) has a point about 10mm 1911's but only of they are rated to shoot the full house Norma type loads. Springfield vs Dan Wesson anybody?1 point

Do you own one of these? Have you ever shot one? I won’t fault someone from trying to educate but you have yet to present a first hand account of issues YOU have experienced. Let’s stick to what we know not what we’ve “heard” from someone else who likely has never touched one of these pistols.1 point

Supposedly you can have them in the parking lots, just not inside. https://www.cnn.com/2013/07/11/us/guns-post-office/index.html1 point

NO! NO! NO! The worst guns ever are the ones David has. 'Cause I don't have them. I've never fired a 320, so I can't say anything good or bad about them. I have a couple of friends who have them and swear by them. One is a gunsmith and Sig armorer. The 320 does feel pretty good in the hand, but so far they just don't appeal to me. And I guess that's literally the only thing I know about them, come to think of it.0 points
