First and foremost I want to voice my extreme appreciation to @KahrMan for accelerating our ability to offer this to you. For those of you who have never had the pleasure of meeting him, KahrMan is without a doubt one of the most generous and selfless people I have known. When he read that the set-up for embroidery to do TGO logo apparel had a substantial cost, without hesitation he stepped in and made it happen. We are fortunate to have amassed a group of exceptional people here on TGO. Not a week goes by that I am not reminded of that. But generosity like this directly benefits all of us and I just could not let it go unheralded. I cannot thank him enough. With all of that being said, please enjoy shopping the new TGO merchandise catalog in our Queensboro store: CLICK HERE TO GO SHOPPING! A few things to note: I will get a permanent link to this added to the menu at the top of the site. All orders are fulfilled by Queensboro and TGO receives a small portion of each sale. While I will do everything that I can to help you with any issues that might arise, our involvement here is actually very limited. I do not have any control over what they have in inventory or what their lead-times are. Please pay close attention to what they state the time-to-delivery is for your order before you commit to the purchase. I think most things ship within two weeks. Do bear in mind that these items are made to order, so it takes a few days for that to happen. I would love to hear about your experiences with the shop and the merchandise!3 points

Copy that. I love it here. Just picked up my concealed handgun permit today. It's wonderful living in a free state!1 point

Rather than a lug cutter, file them. It's much more rewarding and teaches patience... Even with the cutter there will still be file work to clean things up.1 point

In TN you may have any loaded firearm in a private vehicle, no permit required, simple as that. To leave in vehicle on school property or posted property, you do need a permit. - OS1 point

It's the Farnams, Ayoob, Marty Hayes, Claude Werner, and Dr. Martin Topper. The picture was taken at a dinner for presenters at the 2015 Rangemaster Tactical Conference.1 point

I just saw this, and it's been a few years... Is that Mrs. Farnam (Vickie) as well? Marty Hayes? Claude Werner? I'm certain someone will correct me. Mr. Givens has a shinier head anyway LOL. Just kidding. You keep excellent company Sir.1 point

I'm not up to speed on all SCUBA tank lingo but hopefully your tanks have K valves. If so then Crosman, Air Force, Air Venturi and Benjamin make a K valve yoke adapter. Below is the Benjamin version. Also here is a link to a very helpful guide about SCUBA tanks and PCP air guns. I took it from the Pilkguns website which is a Tennessee business that I have used many times. They know their stuff. Done a few deals with KahrMan myself, and I'll echo your sentiments. A great person to meet, and a gentleman of the first order. One of the absolute icons of TGO!1 point

Yay! Let me tell you a little about @KahrMan, he messaged me when I posted a pic of my Sig 10mm and told me he had 11 mags for sale for $100. I told him I would happily buy 3 of them. When we met to make the sale he hands me the whole bag of 11 and would not take any more money for them. Generous should be his avatar...... He did say not to expect that if buying a firearm.....1 point

TN residents have to have TN permit. The legal heat course does not compare/substitute for the TN course.1 point

Or considerate the old but not obsolete 38 Special wadcutter round that has devastating potential & light recoil as it is designed for paper target punching .1 point

I'll retract my statement that I've never seen a 45 that I didn't like. I'd have to pass on this.1 point

I have heard nothing but excellent things about Mr. Spaulding. Folks should jump on this opportunity. There's no telling how much longer guys who've been at this as long as he has will continue doing these classes. Sooner or later they want to retire, like any of us do.1 point

Something I will NEVER be without again is a plasma cutter. Makes cutting most metals a matter of seconds.1 point

I've got an arc welder for sale on the " Non-firearms" thread on here, for $50. Bought new in the mid 80's, used it mainly for the same purpose you have in mind here. You're welcome to bring some metal & try it out. I'm 10 mi. No. of Lebanon city limits, just off Hwy 231.1 point

Honestly, if you are not planning to use welding as a commercial skill, teach your self. Get a 220v stick welder and a 110 mig welder and you have pretty much everything covered for about $600 bucks or so. Then a disk grinder, band saw and maybe a few other tools as you get into your projects as needed. Lots of guide books and probably you tube vids. There is nothing mysterious about welding most common metals. It comes down to practice & read, read & practice. Basically, I think your better off putting the cash into the machines rather than a teacher.1 point

No experience with this particular rifle but a lot of experience with PCP guns 10 meter sporter class air rifle mostly. Since you asked about a compressor it sounds like you are starting from scratch in the PCP world. I know several people that started out using manual pumps, myself included, but you will find that using a manual gets old really fast. The compressors that fill these are not your standard compressor. Air pyramid sells them but the good ones start at around $1300.00. Based on what I pay in the Nashville area the cost of a compressor will equal a 150 + fills of an 80 cf SCUBA tank. During a busy competition season and filling multiple guns I only filled my SCUBA tank 6 times in a year. I went to the SCUBA tank method and never looked back. Air Pyramid sells these set ups as well. I had a lot of people tell me that SCUBA shops would not fill my tank if I did not have a dive certification card but I quickly found out that is not true. I have purchased from Air Pyramid on several occasions and I can't speak highly enough about their customer service and support. If in any doubt call them. My experience was that they can talk you through any thing you don't understand or a problem with something you purchased.1 point

Come hang out sometime, I am welding on stuff pretty regularly. I am far from a professional but I can lay a bead and you can use anything I have.1 point

This will be your best bet. Some offer night classes in addition to days. The tuition is inexpensive, and you may be able to get free tuition from the lottery money.1 point

I’m still waiting for the NRA to fulfill this promise of repealing the 1986 machine gun ban. I bet nobody has heard of Wayne LaPierre though, have they? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Just because someone retires doesn’t mean they are cut off or have no friends still in the industry. And someone who had spent their lifetime in an industry does so because they enjoy it, not because it is just a job to them. I was in government contracting for only three years but I still talk to friends about the industry regularly 10 years later. If we continue to minimize and blow off potential attacks to our freedoms we have no hope of success. Our representatives are not pro 2A, they are unwilling to do anything for us despite being able to make more advancements than we have ever seen. And a lot of my fellow members are perfectly fine with letting our gun rights be taken, without objection, so long as what is being taken isn't being taken out of their own safe. I would trust this guy more than the NRA to advise on ATF matters. The NRA has helped most of the anti gun legislation get passed in the last 50 years.1 point

I only bought two revolvers in 2017, one being this Uberti Open Top Navy in .38 Special: And in August I bought the .45 Colt New Frontier: I bought the Uberti to be my "centerfire .22" for very casual shooting, have put just 900 rounds through it since buying the gun. Its fun, mild recoil, pleasant shooting up close, no good for any distance beyond fifteen yards or so. The New Frontier I bought it because nobody else out bid me. New Frontiers are what I consider to be the ultimate Colt Single Action. Right up there, almost, with the Ruger Super Blackhawk. Bob Wright1 point

I only like tweed when it is on guitar amps. You don't need as cider press to make hooch. Though you could. I would just stop by the local plumbing supply for 2 water tanks, copper pipe, and fittings after my Cracker Barrel stop.1 point

Don't come to my place after the SHTF looking for good reading materials! You'll have nothing, and I'll have a nice collection of 1920's men's fashion advertisements. I'll just turn you away and go back to working on my tails and top hat ensemble.1 point
