I posted earlier in the thread about poachers and trespassers on my sons land. Well after the game warden saw the pictures on the trail cams and knew who 2 of them were he went to have a talk with them. The first one said he was not on my sons land and that just made the game warden mad cause the guy lied to him so he stuffed him in his truck in cuffs and went and visited the second guy and he also denied being on the land and denied shooting any deer when they were dragging a doe in two of the pictures. The game warden had the camera and showed them the pictures. Then he said he wanted to see their hunting licenses. Neither one of them had one and yet they had a doe. He radioed for back up and took both of them to jail over in Cheatham county jail. They went up in front of the judge and the judge gave them both 30 days in jail and stern warning that if they were caught poaching or trespassing again the sentence would be 11/29. So I guess they won't be doing much hunting any time soon but I told my son and grand son to be on their toes for a while after these guys get out. I don't know any of them but if the game warden does thats a pretty good indication they don't pay much attention to laws.

Deport them? Nah. Arrest them, bring back chain gangs/work gangs and put them to work doing the grunt work of building the wall. That would be one way to make Mexico help build the wall. People who come to the U.S. legally to make a life for themselves and families should be lauded. Those who illegally invade should be punished - and just because someone gets away with it for years or even decades doesn't mean they should not be punished when caught. The current attempts to equate opposition to illegal immigration with opposition to all immigration as well as racism in order to present those who oppose illegal immigration as racist are disgusting to me. I also get tired of hearing about 'non-criminal' illegals. There is no, such thing. Illegal means just that - they are criminals by being here. Treat them as such.

I would like to see a double whammy - the state, city, county, etc lose federal funding and the family of the victim win a case in which they sue the city and county, at least, into oblivion. We always hear how it is the taxpayers who are footing the bill when someone gets a big payout in such a case. Well, maybe this will inspire the local taxpayers to elect officials who know what the word 'illegal' means - especially if the lawsuit depletes coffers to the point that the city/county can't afford to pay for the law enforcement to protect them from said 'illegals' and other criminals - the same law enforcement that let Zarate go so he could be on that pier in the first place.

ROFLMAO!!! If I had a Country Ham in my house the Deer Roast would remain in the Freezer a while and I would have a Conuntry Ham dinner on Christmas..............JMHO I would almost kill for a Country Ham. They have been out of my price range for too many years to remember..............

Not really...China wants to have North Korea in a certain place depending on what we'll do. They love how much NK makes us dedicate time, troops, resources, and money to a very small area/threat that can't engage them elsewhere in the region, and has been keeping them afloat at minimal cost to them for maximum drain on us. China may want NK to have a credible nuclear threat, or they may finally exert needed pressure to keep them close to where they're at now (armed, but not very capable), I'm not entirely sure. One thing I am fairly sure of is they don't want NK crossing the line that forces our hand, and brings a war to their backyard. That's bad for business as they continue to grow their economy, and bad for their long term plan to watch us spend ourselves into irrelevance.

We are here to protect.

I'd add that spending time building antenna is going to be extremely beneficial to you as a learning opportunity. Antenna construction is often very easy and much less expensive than buying them commercially. Finally got around to picking her up. Also, while I was gallivanting across the country the seller found a few more mags so 5 multiplied into 12.

Got my new gun, but get tired of the black. Had some parts Cerakoted to give it some character. I am happy with the way it turned out.
