  1. I feel confident you could have followed them out to find the source of their stupidity. 1 or maybe both parents waiting by the curb to carry their little difference maker back to his lair in mommies basement. Clad with wall art of Che and feel the bern, while the essence of brooding and complex fills the room.

  2. There are plenty of "useful idiots" out there. The NOKO situation is not good. I am not bothered by Trumps talk. Better to talk strong then to be President Obama apologist. Weakness invites aggression. Sooner or later, the situation in NOKO may come down to military intervention. I hope not, but nuclear weapons in the hands of someone like Kim Jong Un or technology sold to a high bidder would be equally bad like some terrorist group and used against us or an U.S. allied. Each past Administration has ignored the threat and whatever attempts to rein in this regime has failed. Should U.S. take action I hope the force delivered is "ugly" and decisive. 3. This is an actual conversation I heard between two young men (looked to be 18-20) in line at Food City. Guy 1: Well it looks like Trump is trying to get us into war with North Korea or Russia Guy 2: Yeah, he is trying his best to pick a fight with them 1: Who would you rather go to war with? 2: Russia defiantly, North Korea has like 1000 missiles!! 1: I know they would blow us all up. I just had to walk away and go to a different line before I grabbed them by the nape of the neck and shook some sense into them!!!! I probably had smoke coming out of my ears. How does someone get to be a legal adult and still be that stupid???????

  6. I spoiled myself a little this year. I am still using my Mathews Switchback bow, but I picked up a new 1.5 man 17 ft ladder stand, two used ladder stands, and a Millennium m100u lock on with Hawk Helium climbing sticks. Almost too much to choose from.....almost

  7. So I Googled this and found a lot of people saying that .410 is a perfectly reasonable gun for turkey and a lot of people saying anything less than a 12 gauge 3" high brass will make the birds laugh at you and call your mom rude names. So I thought I'd ask you fine folks, given my situation. I've never hunted for turkey. I've chased rabbits and squirrels since I was 12 and and four years ago got permission to deer hunt on a property. Now that my nephew is 12 he's also enjoying chasing rabbits and tree rats. Since he steals my .22 for this, I've been considering picking myself up a .410 for hunting those littler critters. The property owner where I deer hunt has been telling me about all the turkey, and after seeing them on trail cameras I let him convince me that 30-something isn't too late to learn to hunt turkey. But can I use the same .410 for turkey that I'd use for squirrels and rabbits? If it helps, I'm a grade A certified cheapskate, so I'm looking specifically at the Hatfield $100 .410 at Walmart. If I'm aiming for the head, it seems like a .410 would do the trick if I'm patient enough to let them get close. Am I dreaming? I couldn't live with myself if they called my mom rude names...

  10. Up until a couple years ago I thought ThermaCell was a bunch of hooey. I just knew that I wasn’t gonna emit those fumes and not scare deer off. After hearing SO many people say they won’t hunt bow season without one I decided to try one. Worst case scenario if it made me feel deer were smelling it, I’d use it for camping. Man! I am now a firm believer in those suckers. Unbelievable the difference it makes and so fast after turning it on. I with the rest of you now!

  13. Since we are discussing Vietnam which by the way I have been watching it and no dreams yet but I thought I would ask folks here if any of ya'll have seen any products made in Vietnam being sold in the U.S.A.? If not or if you have not been looking at tags on clothing you may be buying, there is some being imported and label reads "Made in the Republic of Vietnam" I didn't know that we had trade agreements with them till I was looking at a new Gortex Rain Suit at tackle shop here locally and the third label down it said "Made in Republic of Vietnam". If you own a Gortex Rain suit advertised under the Frogg Togg brand name it was made in Vietnam! I just hung it back up and walked out!

  14. I agree. I hope our military leaders have these NOKO military targets identified and that the quantity of our forces is more than enough to target the vast majority of these NOKO military targets and get them destroyed, before NOKO can inflict serious damage on Seoul. China must know, that if the U.S. took action China would be harmed economically and there would a huge humanitarian crisis on their border. Can't see how that would be in their self-interest. China did not take Obama seriously. However, it suggests they are perhaps taking Trump seriously. Time will tell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. My dog doesn't like getting baths. At all. She does, however, have a desire to please me that leads to her generally obeying what I tell her whether she really wants to do something or not. She is also very smart and understands a lot of what I say to her conversationally (never formally trained her with many 'commands' and rarely have to use 'command voice'.) If I call her to the bathroom and tell her to get in the tub she will. She will then proceed to look at me as if she is the most pitiful creature in the world the whole time I am giving her a bath and drying her off. When I tell her that it is okay to get out of the tub she leaps out and runs as if escaping a marauding lion - but she cooperates while she is getting a bath. Yeah, she is usually a really, really good dog.

  17. Probably a good move and when you said your somewhat of a cheapscate if you compare the cost of 4.10 ammo to 12 gauge ammo you will probably save money by going with 12 gauge ammo cost wise. Good quality 4.10 ammo is very costly verses good quality 12 gauge ammo in my opinion..................

  18. Thanks for the awesome feedback. I'll probably still get the .410 for rabbits and squirrels but keep an eye out for a full choke 12 before I tackle turkey.

  19. I did kill a big bird once when I was kid with my 4.10 and it was Canada Goose that was alone and flying cattail high about the 10 yards above me and I led it as far as I could and destroyed it's head when I fired. Did this while walking back through the swamp behind my house from a duck hunt. Yea, I did hunt ducks with a 4.10 over decoys from a blind when I was kid and would get ducks gliding into decoys 15 yard shots max. Took me a few minutes to find the goose that went down in the reeds and cattails but that was my trophy bird with a 4.10. I have never been turkey hunting so don't know how tough and durable they are but I know most folks do use 12 gauge High Brass loads to hunt them...............JMHO

  20. I've taken (x2) Turkeys with my little Rossi Circuit Judge using 3" .410 shells. The first one was shot at about 14 yards. There were enough pellets in the head/neck area that I felt comfortable pushing out a bit further the next year and took one at right around 20 yards. That would be the furthest I would feel comfortable taking one with my setup. I think the key is to conduct extensive pattern testing with whatever you go with to establish a realistic working range, and make a mental "range card" of your hunting area to determine the distance beforehand to key features like distinct trees, your decoys, creeks, sticks or stakes you put out etc...I usually do this with my LRF as soon as I get into an area, helps me quite a bit. As long as you know your realistic (humane) range for what you are working with and stick with that you should be good. The .410 will require more patience and maybe field craft to let them get close, but it will get r done. Im not necessarily a cheapskate, but I do like to be able to fill multiple roles with my tools. A couple years ago I used a 12 gauge Stoeger Double Defense O/U coach gun to take a turkey at 46 yards. But again, that was after extensive patterning and trying about 5 different loads before finding one that really let me reach out there with that gun. Good luck, and happy hunting.

  23. I recently bought my 7 year old son a Chihuahua pup, and anyone who knows these little ankle bitters knows they stay cold all the time, I am crate training her and she would lay in her crate and just shiver. While looking for a small bed for her I came across these https://www.khpet.com/pet-bed-warmer.html After shopping around I got one from ebay for $17 with free shipping. They work almost to good lol if its cool in the house Lolly doesn't want to leave her bed now. I would post some Pics of Lolly but that usually doesn't go well for me lol.

  29. For handguns, being largely a revolver fan, I like the ones that go 'BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG'. Or 'BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG' in the case of five shots. When it comes to standard capacity semi-automatics, I like the ones that go 'BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG + BANG'. Now as for rifles, shotguns and such, I like the ones...aw, nevermind.

  30. After watching the first episode it just reconfirmed my belief how ####ty we treat so called allies. We left Ho Chi Minh and the Vietnamese to rot after WWII. Instead of giving them what they needed we kissed the ring of the French and let them continue to rob the country of its resources and treat the Vietnamese like slaves. Shocking how Ho and his boys ended up hating us so much and taking the help of the Chinese and Russians instead. I never believed we had any business there in the first place and knew in my heart we would never win short of going nuclear. When my brother died on hill 881 I knew this was a pointless war. I served two tours there and I'm as hawkish as they come but after seeing first hand how people died taking hills and valleys and just turned around and gave it back over and over again. Over 56 thousand US Troops died and millions of Vietnamese as well for frickin' what? All these years later and my wonderful country that I served for 26 years still makes me so mad it's unbelievable sometimes. There is no sense of loyalty or doing what is right by people in the higher ups and civilian government. It's all crony politics, money, power and lies. Forgive me...I'm rambling but dammit I hated that war and every totally wrong thing we did there. Nothing much pisses me off anymore but this.....this....well still kinda does.

  35. That kind of thing could land you in a federal pen for years! After all, it is obviously a HAND gun () but it is attached to a device that allows you to support it with your shoulder. Further, this weapon uses technology which allows it to be fired with very little to no noise (and we all know a gun that doesn't have the potential to cause hearing damage to the user is much, much more deadly.) I hope you have all of your papers, registrations and tax stamps in order or the ATF will be coming for you!
