  2. It got pretty deep up this way. Got called in to work at 1:30 AM because of the flooding. It just amazes me how many people want to attempt to drive through roads with like 3-4 feet of water in cars and expect to make it. I got my boots on the dryer where I had to wade through water to get a lady out of her car. Saw people just basically throw their cars away doing this. I hope none of yall on here had any issues with flooding in your homes.

  3. After hearing and reading about how awesome K31s are for quite a while, I finally took the plunge and traded for one locally. I got it out for a short range session today, and it did not disappoint! I shot it and a Finn M39 for comparison. Both have great bores. I think the K31 outperformed the M39! If not, it was certainly toe to toe. Anyway here are some crappy indoor photos given the weather here today... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. The weather is going to be great for the match, we got most of it set up today and the stages look fun.

  5. He's referencing 3 Gun Nation divisions. A glock 22 converted to 9mm won't be a problem for factory/tac irons division.

  7. Do yourself a favor and buy a little bit of the Swiss milsurp ammo to try in it(if not already) it's great stuff! All of the Swiss rifles are selling for high dollar bids here recently. It's for sure one you want to keep. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. It's same as a Gen 4. Just wider at the bottom.

  9. Looks like a nice one.

  10. I fondled one at GT's and I am considering one now. I have to say though, the trigger was the best I have ever felt on a Glock. The cut out in the bottom actually didn't bother me as much as it does on a Gen2; weird I know. The slide finish may actually be as great as it once was, but only time will tell for sure. The improved night sight I could definitely live with. I could tell the gun was wider in the flared magwell and the because of the ambi slide release. I am curious how many holsters the gen5 will not fit because of the thickness of the ambi slide release.

  11. Yeah, not sure what the story leading up to that altercation is, but it had the potential to escalate to a terrible level.

  12. No real plans.....I'm retired now and can look back with satisfaction knowing that my antics at work resulted in several rules being written into the employee manual.

  13. You can shoot a caliber conversion handgun in 3 gun. Not a problem.

  15. My father-in-law passed on a deal to me that I couldn't pass up. I picked up a Ruger 10/22 from him with the original stock as well as the Butler Creek folding stock he'd bought but didn't care for. The jewel of the deal is a Ruger 96/22 in .22 mag! I am beside myself with this new addition. It's beautiful and my first .22 magnum of any kind. I know they were only made for several years and that is cool in itself. But it's really going to fit in with my Marlin 336 and Savage 99e nicely. I told my Dad about it and I think he may have been as excited as I was. He told one of his long time friends about it that night. They guy said "Hang on a second." and proceeded to pull out of his safe the exact same rifle. My Dad's jaw dropped and of course asked what he wanted for it. His friend said "Oh, I'll never sell it. I just keep it in the safe." haha It killed Dad to hear that. Anyway, he's coming in to visit next week and he can't wait to see it. I hope we have time to get out and shoot it together. Anyone else on here have one?

  17. On the flip side of that, I would prefer to pay $5 a gallon for gas and it be available as to see $2 prices and bags on all the pumps when I need gas.

  18. I think it is fair to say that, back when I worked out several times a week, I had a couple of guns. Sadly, I got out of the habit, haven't really worked out in years, had a couple of serious illnesses and now my former 'guns' seem to be more along the lines of NERF launchers. Very sad.

  19. I don't but not because of fears of being broken into. I don't because people are assholes and they will key your car up one side and down the other for having a bumper sticker they don't like.

  21. They did that same thing a couple (few?) years ago when the KKK had a rally downtown. So if you protest against the removal of the monument to Confederate soldiers in the Fort Sanders area; you are a White Supremacist?
