Well, I went up to Walgreens today and told them that they need to put it back in their inventory. I was not going on any medication that (MY ) doctor has not ran tests on first and then handed me a written prescription for me to bring to you. The Pharmacist seemed a little pi$$ed. I guess she felt I did not trust her and she guessed correctly if that is what she thought. I have been doing business with them since I moved here almost 19 years ago but there is a CVS right across the street that I'm sure would love to have my business. I go see my doctor next month and we will get this all straightened out then..............2 points

Insurance company isn't going to have access to your medical records to know what your cholesterol levels are, they will only see the charges submitted for the tests performed... not the results. HIPAA. I would assume it's just a paperwork mishap of some sorts, maybe an old medicine that was refilled or someone just clicked on the wrong name... could be a million things, but I doubt it is a conspiracy of sorts and your insurance company can not prescribe medications.2 points

Insurance companies do not prescribe medicine. They pay their limit based on the formulary or possibly recommend a substitute at the most. Strange things are afoot here.2 points

Yes but every vehicle is designed to stop it from being crushed from the outside, not expanded from the inside. I bet they are going to be saying "what" to everything said to them for a while. I cannot imagine the amount of ringing their ears are doing right now.2 points

I had one of these my dad bought me when I was a kid. He got rid of it for some reason and I always wanted another because it was such a fun little pistol to shoot. Finally picked up another yesterday. Stainless Ruger 22LR/22WMR New Model Single Six: Who else likes these? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

I really like my gen4 G20. I find it pretty comfortable to shoot with underwood 200gn HC and accurate. I've been meaning to take a look at the 29 some day to see how it compares in size to the 19. Nice gun!1 point

Bersa, you can have the tank pressure tested if you ever want to fill it again. If it passes, the tester will stamp a new date into the metal. It's sometimes cheaper than buying a new tank, but of course that's only true if it passes. If it fails, you'll pay for the test and a new tank. For the smaller tanks, it's usually cheaper to get a new one.1 point

My bet is one of the dragons will ultimately make the confirmation. The first time he hops on a dragon and flies will pretty much make the counter argument moot ...1 point

In a rim fire.... nothing makes bad fruit fly apart better than a 17HMR. Like an A bomb inside a tasteless wally world orange1 point

An insurance company would not have done that unless they had a prescription from a doctor. They are under to much regulation to try and pull a scam like this. I bet it will turn out to be a careless paperwork mix up or something like that.1 point

That is pretty much it. He'll also want a pen and note pad for the lecture portion. My advice also (having taken it in August myself) is to hydrate well BEFORE you go to the class and drink lots of water and gator aid each day. It can be VERY hot and humid there in August. He definitely will have enough to worry with knocking down targets without having to fight dehydration too. Hmmmmm next week eh? He'll be there for the eclipse....that's pretty cool an eclipse at Rogers. That will make for an interesting time.1 point

I turn my gas grill off the same way. Of course, since I set up a sort of 'pioneer kitchen' in the yard I generally do my outdoor cooking/grilling over wood. I think the cylinder for my gas grill has been empty for about two years, now. I need to get it filled or exchange it just because gas grill cooking is so convenient. I have to replace the grids before I can use it again, anyhow.1 point

I was smiling from ear to ear when I received that phone call! The timing was perfect because they increased the price on the FM VEPR rifles by $200 the following week. Did you purchase it locally or online? You inspired me to place a factory folding VEPR 12 on layaway this morning! I had one when they initially released, sold it to purchase a second home, and I have wanted one ever since.1 point

Whenever I get mine filled I drive with the windows down regardless of the weather. There is no way I am going to let my vehicle fill up with propane if the canister is leaking.1 point

I'm not even going to post what I did even though they were not horrendous scores. You just can't win much at a World Championship by shooting your average even if it does have a 9 on the front of it. But like last year my son out shot me again and did manage to win a shoot off to be the yardage champion in the Kreighoff 100 preliminary handicap event. There are people that have been shooting at the Grand American for 40 years and have yet to win a trophy.1 point

Nice shooting. That definitely shows time and hard work. A shout out for your folks also. I know first hand what it takes to support a youth shooter Lots or windshield time and $$ Looks like you had a better day than I on Saturday. My excuse was the wind and crazy light and I am sticking to it The only thing I brought home was a bunch of empty hulls and a couple of Tshirts.1 point

I worked on these off and on for 10 years and it's a testament to the durability of these wonderful birds. I retired in 92.1 point

That + a testament to bad assery of an A10. I can't believe they keep trying to get rid of the damn things... Upgrading these beasts would be much cheaper than designing a new one from scratch - and then you get into the issue of not knowing if the new aircraft will even be worth a dang. I say put more powerful engines on them, lighten the load and add more ammo1 point

Yes, it will. I can tell you, however, that Hornady Critical Defense does slightly better out of my 6.5 inch Heritage. The Gold Dot is certainly no slouch. In my unscientific gallon water jug test Gold Dot kind of over expanded a little out of the Heritage - in other words the petals bent back far enough that it reduced in size, again, after expanding but still does well. Out of the longer barrel the Gold Dot dumped a lot of energy early and very impressively split the first jug in line. The Gold Dots kick the crap out of the performance of the Hornady out of my 1 5/8 inch barreled NAA mini revolver, however. The Hornady was actually very disappointing out of the NAA - not much expansion and seemed to barely get into the third jug. The Gold Dot out of the NAA looked almost identical to the picture of the expanded round on the box, went through three gallon jugs, poked a hole in the face of a fourth, rebounded and was found in the third. It wouldn't be my first choice but I honestly would not in any way feel 'unarmed' even against a two-legged critter with a reliable handgun loaded with those Gold Dots.1 point

Nice. I had a blue convertible I got in 6th or 7th grade. Don't recall the barrel length because for some reason Ruger SA's come in bizzare lengths. It was in the neighborhood of 6". Sold it and bought a Mark II bull barrel just out of college. Still have that and it's one of my favorites. Now I have two Bearcats. Those are a hoot.1 point

Back when I was just a kid of age 13 and gun laws were no where near what they are today I bought a Colt 22 cal single action 6. Blue with 5 inch barrel and bone handles and paid $39.00 for it and bought and fast draw cowboy type holster out fit for it with leg tie down and all. My hunting buddy bought a Ruger single 6 with a 7.5 inch barrel and also the holster sit up and we practiced shootng them till we were god enough to wear them for hunting rabbits with them. We also carried shotguns and had beagles to hunt with. If we got a rabbit sitting tight one of us that had the best shot would use to pistol to shoot and save digging out all the lead shot before cooking them. On most days we would get at least 3 or 4 with the pistols. I had the gun till I went in service and when I came home my baby brother had laid claim to it so I let him have it. I also had a Heritage Rough Rider with interchangable cylinders and could shoot 22 lr or 22 Mags. Son in law was having varmint issues with his chicken house and he has it and has been using it for about 5 years now so I guess he has claimed it as his own. One of these days I will give him a bill for it..............LMAO1 point

I just bought a Vepr 12. Factory built with the folder that actually folds instead of one that is welded open. Get them while you can because they are going fast.1 point

Well, it's sort of the first part of the last season. HBO decided to do two mini-seasons of 7 episodes each to ensure they could get everything in while having enough time for post production, CGI, and what not. Kind of how Mad Men finished it's run, just a lot more logistics behind it. I'm cautiously optimistic they don't screw this up. The two key players behind the scenes (those guys you see talking about the episode after it) have done a great job to date. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk. OhShoot very much likes to know when we're using Tapatalk.1 point
