If she'd have only had a 9mm, and he a National Geographic magazine, he'd still be with us today.4 points

Enjoy some semi-glamour shots of my Luger.... I tried to show all the imperfections in the finish, along with the identification stamps. Not horrible condition to be 98 years old. http://imgur.com/a/NBfPn2 points

That is a great price when you're talking about a volume purchase. Like I and others said, I just have fundamental issues with repacked ammo, especially .22. It is not repackaged bulk ammo as CCI SV comes in 50 rounds boxes. You can't even be sure it's SV, how old it is, or if is stuff that was just swept up off the floor of some warehouse or original packaging damaged by something like water. Too many unknowns for me. I'm sure the ammo is fine.2 points

Yeah, I thought 2 was boring. Loved the first one. The second, not so much. Plot was terrible. I did chuckle, though, when Keanu shot at his foot! I think twice. One was definitely inline with the muzzle, the second time didn't look much better.1 point

Your suspicions would prove to be unfounded if you were to take the time to find out who Julie Borowski is and what she's about.1 point

The story I read said friends and family members knew he was going to do this and they tried to talk him out of it. It also said friends and neighbors watched as this reckless act was being committed, but no one called 911 until the shot was fired. I find that amazing. If he wanted to be famous, and someone called the cops and told them what he was going to do, they would have confiscated his weapons. The confiscation would have been the talk of the internet. He would be famous….and alive.1 point

To me that is different. The girl you speak of repeatedly and knowingly pushed her boyfriend to off himself. Obviously he played a part but she constantly nagged and manipulated him day by day to do it. That’s intent. In the Ruiz story you have two folks that do dumb stuff for fame. One of them convinces the other that something is safe “Look, I’ve already tested it. This is going to be awesome!”, and then that person died because it wasn’t safe. The kind where you are so hungry for famedom that you will do anything, risk anything, to achieve it. I’m more curious about the book he shot beforehand that stopped the bullet. Did he shoot it with the .50? I’m mixed on this one. Should she be tried? Depending on how much firearm knowledge she possesses, and seeing as to how she objected at first but then he persuaded her that it was safe, I feel like the largest percentage of blame falls on him. He lost his life, she lives with it for the rest of hers. She has a child and another on the way. A good, expensive lawyer may be able to get her off on this one. It would be a difficult jury to be on in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Just when I think the stupidity of people cannot surprise me any further. Just how low on common sense do you have to be to ask someone to shoot you with a 50 caliber of any kind?1 point

While the price might be moderately attractive, my concern would be the lack of production/lot numbers found on the original boxes. Nice to have in the event of a recall.1 point

The big issue is that so many places repackaged 22 to gouge people when it was In short supply. That really left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouth. There are still some places trying to unload the inventory they bought up at the previous prices.1 point

CT will sell for $125? Conversion to what? Just get yourself a OEM .357 Sig barrel and away you go. I have an older German 229 in .40 and it is a great gun. They do carry like bricks though, even being lightweight. How much does the guy want for it?1 point

CCI does not pack .22 ammo in plastic bags. Matter of fact the only people that do are neckbearding gun stores and gun show dealers. Did you do the math? It's $.12/round shipped...and the panic is over.1 point

This is what happens when appointees are political instead of justices following the Constitution and rule of law. It doesn't take a college degree to know Thomas is exactly right.1 point
