  1. I don't always crash my truck into new luxury cars, but when I do, I have a Budweiser hat on my dash.

  2. He alone is responsible for his actions, true. But the hate, lies and vitriol being spewed relentlessly by his like minded brethren fueled his decision to take the action that he alone is responsible for. A car doesn't run without gas in the tank, and liberals and democrats have been putting gas in the tank for a very long time now.

  3. Well, I thought about bikinis but I don't think I'd want to see most of the folks that I have seen at past gun shows in bikinis so that's out. Prepping stuff? Maybe it would be more appropriate to have a prepping show/expo with a portion of the sales floor dedicated to guns/ammo/reloading supplies rather than vice versa. I guess I'll go with 'nothing'. Honestly, about the only think I'd like to see that is usually missing from gun shows would be actual deals rather than people trying to sell guns for $50 to $100 more than I can buy them at an LGS.

  4. This coward is indeed the only one responsible for his actions and he's gone now. The bigger problem is that there is a measurable part of the population that doesn't have the skills to deal with loosing. They want a participation award for living... if they can't get it they will throw a violent temper tantrum. Most of these cowards use only words, or social media, but a few become physically violent. The problem as I see it comes from these few people following a meme together and getting incited to group violence. Their minds can't differentiate between right and wrong they have no morals and are cowards of the highest order looking for something to make them strong. They latch on to an idea and use that idea for strength and justification of violence. BLM riots are the same as the Berkley and Evergreen campus riots. To them it's about fairness, not right or wrong. They feel justified to threaten or commit violence in the name of fairness To them it's all about what they WANT to be given, rather than what they will DO for themselves. This has been a long time coming. I think it's a form of civil war. The wanters vs the doers, fairness vs hard work... I'm a doer and will defend myself because of that, I won't go out and commit acts of violence because I don't need to to make myself feel good, or strong. I have the moral strength to know right from wrong and not harm my fellow man except in defense.

  6. The whole thing is just a damn shame and proves that anyone can be a violent jackass. In many parts of our country there no longer is any "polite society". This is a direct result of "social media". People can say things on line that they would never say in person because they are cowards. Every time I post here and the few other forums that I frequent I think about my words. If I wouldn't say it to your face I won't type it and hide behind a keyboard. When Trump called Islamic terrorists losers he was close. They are cowards. This guy was a coward too.

  10. Myself, I would just as soon see them get what they did to those 2 Correctional Officers. They deserve nothing less. I don't want them getting a death sentence and then giving them 10 years + worth of appeals at tax payer expenses, health care at medical expenses for 10+ years, Meals for 10 + years all at Taxpayer expenses. about 10 bucks in hot lead from the guns of Law enforcement would be much easier on taxpayers and would give the families of the slain Correctional officers closure knowing they are both dead..............JMHO

  11. Bull ! Although the shooter is responsible for his actions I vehemently disagree that the dip s who have been inciting these people do not share in the blame. Weaker minds seek out and follow leadership. You can deny psychology all you want, but that does not make it true.

  12. Tucker Carlson had Congressman Mo Brooks on last night. You could tell the Congressman was fighting back emotion as he said “From above us I heard BAM, BAM, BAM; it was Capitol Police Officer David Bailey. And it was a tremendous feeling of joy to see a good guy shooting back. “ He described the helplessness of watching Congressman Steve Scalise trying to drag himself to help. “There’s not much we can do when all we have is baseball bats, gloves, and baseballs.” I also liked Greg Gutfeld’s analogy, something to the effect;” Water can kill you, you don't ban water; you learn to swim.

  13. Capital police were at the scene when it started and immediately began returning fire. Without them we'd probably be talking deaths instead of injuries and it goes to show how only a good guy with a gun can stop a bad guy with at gun.

  14. Hard to carry on the field, but aimed fire from those in the dugouts might have brought things to an end faster. Sadly it probably wouldn't have changed the result much in this case. Everyone I saw interviewed said it took them a few moments and a couple of shots to realize the gravity of the situation. By then the congressman had been shot. If those two Capitol Police officers had not been there then of course it would have been a very different story... It makes me wonder about how long I would take to react in similar circumstances when seconds count. In this sort of situation the aggressor has the advantage for a few crucial seconds. The only advantage the direct target has against this sort of attack is that they seem to universally be poor shots... The advantage swings to the legal gun owner when they can respond in defense of others. This is unexpected by the coward and they usually fall apart quickly.

  15. This happened in Alexandria Va which is right across the river from DC. Alexandria is a very expensive and nice city where I doubt they have much violent crime compared to DC city limits. There is nothing to keep law abiding person from either open carrying without a license in Alexandria or carrying a handgun concealed with a license. Licenses are easy to get there and Virginia honors a lot of out of state licenses including our TN license. Carry laws are probably better than ours in TN. No looking for stupid signs and you can carry at colleges without being a criminal. I doubt anyone expected to be attacked at this baseball game in Alexandria because there is not much crime there. Of course it would be difficult to carry if you are playing baseball. Sad situation for people just trying to relax and have fun outside.

  22. No the answer is to have law abiding citizens armed. When someone starts shooting; they shoot them until they stop.

  23. Even though this is the second instance of violence perpetrated by fan of Bernie Sanders over the last few weeks I will maintain a bit of ideological consistency. The only one responsible for the happenings today is the person who committed them. No public figure, no matter how aggressive their rhetoric, is responsible for the actions of this man. He and he alone is responsible for what he did.

  33. I definitely see your point and in many cases would be inclined to agree with you. In this case, however, it appears to me that the two of them - based on their actions, alone - would probably greatly prefer a few ounces of hot lead to going back to prison. I think it would be allowing them to commit 'suicide by cop' and add to their infamy. That is why I would like to see them denied that end and, instead, let them rot in solitary confinement - if that is legally allowed - until the day they are simply 'put down' like rabid dogs. No blaze of glory, no last stand, just strapped to a table with a needle in their arm.

  35. Sorry to hear about your new ride. It's a shame tha is happened and hope your recovery is fast and full. I drive an Old 1997 Jeep Cherokee and carry only Liabliity coverage but also added an uninsured motorist rider to the policy. My agent said it was a smart move to protect my vehicle cause if an unnsured motorist destroys my vehicle they cannot just pay value of Jeep but I can demand they replace the vehicle and they have to do it and then they sue the uninsured motorist to recover costs.

  40. Four dead including the shooter in a UPS workplace shooting today. How was that shooting and the above shooting stopped? Glad you asked. By good guys with guns. (The UPS shooter killed himself when confronted by Police) The only way to stop an active shooter is with another active shooter.

  42. To say that the liberals have been extreme in their rhetoric since November is putting it mildly. Here's an article that gives am excellent sample of those freaks in Hollywood: http://www.breitbart.com/big-hollywood/2017/06/14/15-times-celebrities-envisioned-violence-against-trump-and-the-gop/ I can't help but think they are intentionally inciting their fans. Either that or their just plain stupid.

  44. The guy had an Illinios drivers license, which means he also had to have a FOID card to get that gun, and probably the ammo. This thing is up to its ass in common sense gun control. Once again, it must have been the NRA.

  45. I don't blame any of our elected officials on either side of the isle for packing heat with their job. What I do have an issue with is they don't want us to have that same priviledge in many instances and work so hard to try and deny us what they feel they should have. I am glad that the only one killed was the bad guy and Thank GOD for those brave Capitol Police officers for their action even after both being wounded by the bad guy...........

  46. If current reporting is accurate, Scalise spent ~10 MINUTES down after taking a 5.56 or .223 round to the hip. He was alone in the outfield without treatment for ~10 minutes. Unreal. I hope he - and all of the innocents today are ok and makes a full recovery. Tourniquet & Blow Out Kit. Have one with you every day. Everywhere.

I wish the State of Tennessee would extend the middle finger to those states that refuse to honor our permit and stop accepting their permits.
