First one has an OAL is 7 3/4" and the blade is 3 1/4". It's made from 1095 carbon steel with a satin finish and has SS pins and lanyard hole. The scales are made from Orange Agate and has thumb jimping on the spine and a 550 cord adjustable lanyard. Since these are small blades the 550 cord allows the little finger a little something extra to gab a hold of. This one is kind of a take off of the first knife. OAL is 8 1/4" and the blade is 4 1/4". It's made from 1095 carbon steel with a satin finish and has SS pins and lanyard hole. The scales are made from Wenge and has thumb jimping on the spine and a 550 cord adjustable lanyard.3 points

Perhaps also worth noting that, to my knowledge, there has never been a conviction for carrying past a sign in TN without significant extenuating circumstances (such as generally making an arse of yourself).3 points

My follow up for my diverticulitis is still open ended. My colonoscopy is scheduled 6 weeks from now, depending on the results, I may be under the knife for surgery, removing about a foot of my sigmoid colon. My preference is no surgery, but prepared for the worst case. If it is God's plan, a little faith healing could be in my future, so prayers are definitely welcome and appreciated! May God bless and protect all of my TGO brothers and sisters!2 points

So, I was in the market for a cheap coyote gun when this used Axis popped up. Crappy rattle-can stock, stock trigger (30lb of grit...) & factory Bushnell. Mind you, it was $200 so I'm not complaining & it came with 400 round of 50gn hollowpoints. Picked it up this morning & immediately decided it was too long &, well....normal. 12 o'clock & I get a 1hr lunch break so I figured "*%#$ it". Pulled the stock, removed the mounts & scope, whipped off the barrel, ran to a friend with a lathe, used said lathe to chop it to 16¼", turned a nice 11° crown, ran home, removed the trigger, replaced the stock spring, installed an over travel screw, polished the trigger & sear (3lb pull, zero overtravel. Didn't have time to fix the pre-travel. I'll live with it!), reinstalled it, screwed on the barrel, headspaced it, tightened everything up, scope on, stock on, loaded the mag & zeroed the thing (1½" high at 100yds, ¾"group) & STILL had time for a cheese sammich! Do THAT with your Remchester!1 point

Me? I just walked into the shop at the right time. I'm not "industry," I'm just a store slug.1 point

Unfortunately I bought it used and wasn't sure the would fix it. Loved the size, but just didn't trust it. So traded to a shop for something else. Vowed to never buy another Keltec again, until you yahoos convenienced me that I needed to try a P32. Found a used one at Harvey's here in Knoxville. It's a First Gen and came with an extra mag and a pouch. It's been flawless and I costly have it on me. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk1 point

This was my experience as well. I spent 13 days in St. Francis Bartlett back in 2009 and barely escaped the knife also. I was fed thru a pic line the first 11 days and yes it was also the worst pain I ever had. Prayers lifted .1 point

Bah comcast... never make a change to your plan. So they told me free install, then charged me $60 for it. I called and had them review the tape where the guy told me it was free install, they did and then credited my account $20 (WTF?). Called in today to get a prorated discount since the 1gig was down for about 10 days. Even though it was never turned on full speed, they said they can only prorate it from the time I called in, even though the technician put in a ticket the same day and said it wasn't working right (WTF?). Obviously getting angry, I asked them to pull the initial sales call and listen to it because I wasn't accepting a partial refund. They did, and guess what *poof* the recording was no longer in their system. I said ok no problem, all of my calls are recorded, where can I email you a copy of the audio? They wouldn't accept it... At that point I was done with them and said ok you got a 30 day money back guarantee on upgrades, I want to roll back to my old plan and cancel this gigabit stuff. She actually told me "you agreed to a 3 year term on your call with the salesman" I was like you lying piece of crap, you just told me there was no audio of the call, now you're saying you have audio of me agreeing to a contract on that same call that doesn't exist. W T F Go ahead and run this call up to your boss because I don't deal with liars. Anyways, after 90 minutes on the phone and dealing with a plethora of people that shouldn't be allowed to consume air without paying a tax, all my stuff was rolled back to the 300meg 110/month plan. Now that they have fixed the line issues, I've got a 30mb upload with my old stuff, so I'm good to go! Can't wait to see what kind of sorcery is coming on the next bill though. I will never touch the plan again unless a new carrier comes in the area.1 point

I mentioned in the other thread that I would be hesitant to shoot one with a 22LR. 17 HMR is a different story. Within 100m, so long as the wind is within reason, I wouldn't and haven't hesitated with the 17. That is one positively explosive little round.1 point

Unless your in the market for a worn out Remington 700 in 30-06 at forty dollars more than a new one, stay home.1 point

Had a PF9 that dropped the mag after every other shot. It was beast to shoot too. Now I have a XDs .45acp that has been super dependable. I also carry a little Keltec P32 a bunch in a pocket holster. It's the Bees knees!!! Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk1 point

My Glock 43 has been tossed into a tool box , the floorboard of my beater , and ran hard and put up wet. I purposely did it just to see if this new design would run good and hold up and I still have no failures and no rust even though I have scratched the crap out of it . The Glock 43 is a keeper for me. If I make a quick run to Walmart in the middle of the night for milk or whatever I put the 43 in my pajama pants or shorts and its all good.1 point

When I bought mine a few months back; I was told that the no-safety model would probably be out...someday. To my knowledge, it hasn't happened yet.1 point

I'm bumping this topic because I lost the postponement thread but I wanted to share some progress. Both have gone dormant due to some unfortunate circumstances but once they're resolved we should be up and running again. In any case I decided to go ahead and build out a G3 to learn the ropes and try to find any pit falls. So far I've learned far more than I thought was possible about these systems, and made a few more mistakes than I care to admit along the way. It still needs some clean up and paint after the test fire but here it is as of today.1 point

Prayers for you. I also suffer from diverticulitis, and barely escaped the knife several years ago. Worst pain that I've ever experienced. It felt like someone was slowly dragging a knife around my insides. When that wasn't happening, the cramps and the associated unpleasantries had me curled up on the floor like a new born baby. Antibiotics, one week in the hospital and a liquid diet squared me away. I'm glad that my doctor and the surgeon were patient. Good luck!1 point

Prayers sent! My colon perforated and had to have surgery several years ago. Hurt so BAD till surgeon got me fixed up. No bag after surgery. Praise the LORD.1 point

I like the stainless a lot. It has a Hogue grip and someone before me slicked up the action. It's a great shooter with the magna porting and a Burris 2x scope. It's my go-to deer gun if it is raining, because I can carry it with a chest holster under my rain jacket. My 4-5/8" Ruger is blued with the rosewood grips. It's completely stock and shoots great too. I carry it around the woods and farm sometimes. When I get my SAA, I'm going to get case hardend / blued here's a pic of my stainless ruger: Pic of the 2 SBHs and my single six:1 point

When I was still working for the city, we had a bunch of chain saws and I was the guy who had to fix them. We had a bunch of different brands over the years and when I retired most of them were Stihl because nothing else would out work or out last them. We had some Husqvarnas and I won't knock 'em. Also an excellent saw. But our problem was getting parts for them. Sometimes had to wait a couple of months for what should be a common part. If you have an actual dealer nearby, it'd probably be a good buy. If not, go Stihl.1 point

I've owned both and kept the Glock 43. Both are fine guns, but I like the Glock better. It's a simpler and more reliable design. The Glock is far easier to fully disassemble.1 point

I had one climb the tree I was in this past season. I was in a Summit Viper climber, and he climbed the backside of the tree right past me! I won't lie, it made me a little nervous, and I was ready to fight, lol. He climbed all the way up into the branches above me and made all kinds on commotion. I don't think he knew I was there until he climbed past me, but then I'm pretty sure he cussed me out.1 point
