If a vehicle pulls out in front of me and I slam into the side of their car, regardless of where I hit them, it's their fault for pulling out in front of me. I still say that just generally speaking everything you keep writing indicates that you live with a mindset where nothing is the consequence of your own doing and everything can be rationalized as the universe conspiring against you. Until you realize that actions have consequences, you're going to have a hard time climbing out of the rut that you've found yourself in. And I hate that for you! There is a lot about your current circumstance that is completely within your control, and while bettering it won't be easy it will be completely worth it. I'm rooting for you, but I am dismayed by the undertones in what I keep reading. I hope you're able to get things squared away.

I purchased my first Egyptian rifle yesterday. It was a very unexpected purchase, my friends. My dealer called me yesterday to inform me that my Childers receiver had arrived. As luck would have it, they took in the Egyptian MAADI (Intrac) in a deal hours prior to my arrival. I inspected the rifle, we came to terms on a price, and the rest was history. In addition to the rifle, I recieved the original 5 round magazine, 30 round East German, 40 round Chinese flatback, operation manual, + final inspection certificate. I have decided to liberate this rifle from its post ban configuration. Therefore, I am in seek of a MAADI brown grip + matching MAADI lacquer wood stock. Please let me know if you have any of the aforementioned pieces for sale or have a lead. Without further ado, I present to you my Egyptian MAADI (Intrac)!

Is anyone else vomiting while listening to the CBS Special Report with O speaking on the future of the Democrat party? I actually was napping and awoke to the liar-in-chief blathering on about all the recent things that have not gone right for the Dems. He so far, has cast doubts on the elections, the process of the elections, the influence of foreign propagandists on the election, the propagandists of the tv, newspapers, internet, and radio talk shows. Pretty much accused them all of taking the "lies" and false reports about the "leaked" information from all sources and running with it to further cast doubt on the "party out of power." Saying that all these things are being used to further divide the country and take them away from the good and knowledgable people in office. That the devision in the country is because we are believing "false" news reports being fed to us by the news media. Well...he is right about the news media, They are all giving us lies from the current administration. I know I'm only hitting a few points, I really can't remember all the bull####(pardon me but that's exactly what it is) he is spewing. He just has to get at least one more time in to further his cause of destroying and ripping this nation apart. Sorry, I'm not usually so impulsive in posting things like this, but I am so frustrated and angered by this pack of lies in a suit that I've lost it today.

Hahaha my job had an exit application before I quit, they asked why are you leaving the company.. I filled it out as "Moving to America", HR called me about 24 hours later and wanted an explanation as to what that meant.

I got mine in the mail yesterday and I must say everything will get used, especially the the Hillary butthole tissue. Didn't want to call it "facial tissue" because it will never touch my face. Opened a bottle of beer within minutes of getting the opener and it will get used every day. The tank is cool, still trying to figure out the caliber and origin based ont he headstamp. And the ammunition will definitely go to good use, I am definitely and AK guy now. I've got a few guns to tune and this will be perfect. Thanks to my Secret Santa.

I think this is one of those moments when folks need to just pause for a minute and realize that there are many wonderful people in the world that do go out of their way to help others. I for one still believe in Santa Claus. I will never stop believing in him. Just like I will never stop believing in Jesus Christ. They are both in our hearts and minds to comfort us in a time of need. I think that was the goal when Santa came along centuries ago and Jesus was born to be the ultimate comforter for mankind. That is why I do my best to Keep Christ in Christmas every year and I think that is why Santa Claus comes baring gifts for all the little boys and girls. So they will learn about the reason for the season. Problem is many parents have moved away from telling their children the reason for the Christmas Season. The problem these days is most of the retail world has put the focus on the all mighty dollar and Polictical Correctness that they have lost their way and so have many people. Back when I was little boy and they began showing new toys on TV for Christmas you saw toys. Now for every toy commercial you see, it will be followed up by 3 Jewelry Stores selling diamonds and car companys selling cars with big deals for Christmas. I never saw Santa Claus Park a new Mercedes under anyones Christmas tree when I was a kid!!!!!!!............................JMHO

Well, I know for sure that in my unit we have 3 weeks left from tomorrow to fill our tags. I hope we all will have our freezers full of venison by then <toast>.........So, now I'm thinking what to do until Turkey season. Last year I started coyote hunting but really didn't do much good. I'm gonna head back out and give it another try just to be out in the woods if nothing else. I have a good call and am set up pretty good for it, but I'm going to give ladder type treestands a try this year. There are quite a few on my lease and even a few pretty good shooting houses. Have any of you hunted yotes from stands? I've seen a lot of bobcat and coyote tracks during deer season so I know they are there. Any tips or suggestions on how to get these critters in close enough for a shot?

I'm going to restock my freezer with crappie for sure. I usually get it done even before the spawn. I love those cold water crappie!!! I've not had squirrel dumplings in many years. I'd shoot and clean them, then my Mom used to fry them up with flour, pepper etc....then take the meat off of the bones and make dumplings and hot biscuits!! Lip smacking good!!

I need to do some fence maintenance on my land. I didn't want to disturb the woods too much during the season, so I'll use the post-season to make those repairs before the ticks and weeds start growing again.

I've hunted them from a stand several times and with some luck. Just remember that they can pinpoint the sound with pretty good accuracy. Most people say that they charge right in. But my experience has shown me that's not always true. They like to "check up". Figure out where the dog is likely to stop and try and pinpoint your position. It might be the top of a ridge, the other side of a gully (looking before they drop in), or the point of a field. By this time of year their kind of skidish and less likely to commit. Use the lip squeak to bring them in that last little bit.

You are permitted to defend your family and/or domestic animals from predators. I seriously doubt you'd get charged, especially if no one saw anything..... If you can't shoot it, drowning is the preferred method of disposing of a trapped animal.

I'd give the designer a thumbs up for thinking outside the box, but that's about it. Been trying to see a benefit to this and just can't come up with enough juice for the squeeze. I'm all about guns with cartridge versatility, like a Glock 23 with a 9mm barrel, a Rossi Circuit Judge, a S&W Gorvernor, anything that works with .22LR and .22Mag and maybe even those full length shotgun caliber inserts that KahrMan mentioned, but I just don't like the idea of a little chamber insert inside a big ole shotgun barrel that only gives me a couple inches worth of velocity, and I wouldn't want a full length insert because I imagine it would add a lot of weight for say a 9mm out of a 12 gauge bore that it would be counterproductive. I would never use one for hunting anything given the availabilty of more efficient hunting arms in easy to find calibers, and defensively I would never want to use a 9mm with a 2" barrel in the same package that I could use some good 00 Buck. Just my two cents, but if you do end up getting a set I hope you share with us your feedback.

Went to the show early this AM. Building is great, lots of room, well lit, aisle space. Not a bad show for the 1st time, plus I was one of the 1st in the door, so the crowd was still arriving. Better than the old Lebanon show, for sure. Someone who was there later can get a better idea on traffic. Still a few non-gun items, but not as much as usual. Best part, I live approx. 15 mi. North.

Russia didn't hack us. For the dems emails at least. 2 ways you can tell. 1. BHO said they did, we know he's always 100% wrong. 2. Asange said he got them from a non state actor. Coincidently, a dem staffer was killed eight around this time. Of course the content isn't the topic, that should be the actual conversation.

The irony is that the press has given him free passes and complementary spin for the last eight years, and now he is scolding them? The fact is the stories (facts) regarding Clinton were just too big not to report. They want to make the story out to be that Russia hacked us, when the reality is the story is the things they did and said. It just so happened to be that Russia was the messenger. They have yet to apologize for any of the stuff they got busted on, or even accept that those actions could have been the cause of their failure. I'm not happy that Russia was hacking us, but anybody who thinks that they were not doing it all along (or that we are to them for that matter), is a fool. They should have secured their network a long time ago. THIS is on reason to not have private servers in apartment bathrooms. Clinton is claiming that Putin has it out for her and was targeting her to throw the election. I'd proffer that they were likely trying to hack the RNC as well, but the RNC took cyber security a little more seriously. Besides, I would think that the Russians would prefer to have Clinton in office rather than Trump. The Dems have a habit of saying "we caught you, stop doing that, and if you do it again, we'll tell you to stop again." Plus, even I know enough to not say cross things about my boss or management or other employees in emails or texts. Those things always have ways to come back and bite you. I have no expectation of privacy in a corporate email system, or even on Gmail for that matter. Obama knew that Russia had hacked them months ago, but he kept quiet about it. Now that Clinton has lost the election, he starts his laughable chest thumping bit. If its a big deal now, it should have been a big deal when it happened. He was just hoping that the press would help him sweep it under the rug, just like every other time, and not bring too much attention to the story. He clarified his "we'll punish the Russians" statement by also saying "at a time and place of our choosing." That means, "I'll be on a golf course in Hawaii until January 20th. Trump can handle it when he gets in office." In other words he is drawing another meaningless line in the sand.

So, I decided to modify my 5.45 VEPR. Had to modify my handguard to work since VEPRs are beefy. Not the best pic, but it'll do for now.
