1. I'm all for the address AND humiliation. Act like a peice of :poop: get treated like a peice of :poop: I hold most animals I come into contact with in greater esteem than 99% of the humans on this planet. Animals aren't the virus that strangles the life out of this world. It's humans. If having your address posted and pride assaulted is a problem for anyone, there's a simple solution; don't abuse animals. Amazingly simple huh?

 3. Feel free to add your own insight. This is not a debate but rather opinions that will not be changed but name calling and belittlement of others.    Unfortunately for members of the next generation, it appears they won’t be living in the same sort of America where I had the good fortune of growing up. Of course, there’s still time for a course correction, but it better happen quick. These three short sentences do a pretty darn good job of showing us where we’ve got it all wrong.   We are told not to judge all muslims by the actions of a "few terrorists" but we are encouraged or even belittled to judge all gun owners by the actions a few lunatics or felons that aren't even supposed to legally own a gun in the first place? Funny how that works.   We constantly hear about social security running out of money. How is it we never hear about welfare and food stamps running out of money? The first group worked for their money while the second...not so much. Think about it for a second and let that soak in.   Why are we cutting benefits to veterans and cutting back the size of our military to pre-WWII levels but are not stopping payments/benefits to illegal aliens or whatever we are supposed to call the now? Am I the only one missing something?   Anyway...have fun with this and feel free to add your own ideas without belittling your fellow TGO members.

 7. My daughter asked me yesterday if we could go shooting, this only took 21yrs to happen :).   Her only experience with a gun prior to today only involved a squirt/nerf/bb gun.   So I pulled out 3 pistols, ammo and range bag and went out into the backyard, started off with a bodyguard 380, shot several mags with/out the laser, then broke out the 9mm's, first was a Beretta 92F, then a PX4 storm compact, shot a couple 100rds, her favorite was the 92F, as we were finishing I told her to sit still because I needed to go back to the house to get something, as I return she was puzzled by me holding a rifle and a mag, I was in hurry up training mode as it was getting dark, I told her to shoot 10rds one at a time (not in the video), then had her rotated the selector, the giggling made me remember my first time shooting FA.....best hour I've spent in a longtime...   https://youtu.be/ZWPSUnW9d2U

 10. HRH Daisy Mae Bluebelle Bonnet has landed in the fair woods of Jackson County. We got to meet up with R.M. and his family today to get her. I felt like a huge jerk taking a dog from the cutest little girl, but the dog was really cute too and I knew it was the right thing. Had she started to cry, they would've been stuck with her. LOL So here is HRH Daisy Mae Bluebelle Bonnet when we first got home. I opened the back of the truck to let her sniff a bit. She rode really well in the truck. She whimpered when we left RM and family and she bayed while I pumped gas down the road but once we got on 40 she was quiet as a church mouse and that's pretty awesome. So this next picture is HRH Daisy Mae Bluebelle Bonnet scoping out her goods from TSC. Knowing she wasn't an "indoors dog" I got her a cheap bed. If she pees on it or tears it up oh well. We also have her crate with pine shavings for her too. She got 2 rope bones, 3 pig ears, 2 L Shapes some part of a cow bones, a water bucket and food dish and a huge bottle of shampoo because, RM was very right. She's kinda stinky. This is HRH Daisy Mae Bluebelle Bonnet eating. She got dry food and 2 fresh eggs from the coop. She cannot seem to keep her ears out of the food. We'll work on that and a few other things as we go along. The good news is, I have chosen a rescue to assist Monkey and I. As you all know we have a large pack at 7. I want to try to make it 8. But it might not work out. The rescue is going to let me use their discounted prices at the vet. Which is AWESOME. She has an appointment for Tuesday, she will get a full check up, all vaccines, heartworm and parasite tests, ears flushed and grooming if I can't get the stink out myself. My only concern at this point is that she has never had heartworm preventative. So I am a bit worried about that and if it will come back positive or not. No matter what, she will get ANYTHING and EVERYTHING she needs. Monkey and I are going to do introductions to the pack over the long weekend and hope that it can click. If not, we will just foster until a home becomes available. Some of you have reached out and offered financial assistance to me via PM. I want to thank you for that. If Monkey and I keep her, we will pay for everything ourselves. However, if we cannot keep her due to the pack, at that point I will announce the name of the rescue that is covering the costs and if you want you can then donate to the rescue. They are a 501c3 so it is a tax deductible item. I'll be sure to keep you updated on progress and what not. For now she's resting and quiet which is a good thing.

Re-invest more of myself into TGO. Start moving away from making money for other people, and toward making it for myself.

 18. Some years ago i traded a nice Kimber Classic Custom in and got a Glock 21SF, some might think I was crazy for doing that, with that kimber I was more accurate with that and it's nice single action trigger pull, I was getting nice groups at 25 yards all in and around center. I would shoot a mag and about after mostly 6 rounds it would miss feed,(not chamber fully). I had a Mec-Gar mag, a Chip McCormic Shooting Star mag along with the two Kimber factory mags so quality mags were not the problem, it happened with all of them. Polished the feed ramp to a mirror, changed the 16lb. spring to 18lb., nothing I did fixed the miss feeds, shot probably over 1000 rounds through it also, AND I DON'T F-ING LIMP WRIST EITHER.  Well I got this ugly plastic Glock 21 with a plastic recoil spring rod with two plastic 13 round factory mags, trigger not nearly as nice as a single action trigger but you get used to it, big fat grip and groups at least in a kill zone. I don't name my guns but if I did I would call my G-21 BUBB for Big Ugly Black Brick. But, every time I have pulled the trigger for 2000++ rounds it went bang, even when a few hundred rounds already had been shot and it was dry and full of carbon from nasty/dirty old Winchester White Box ammo it kept going bang every trigger pull. Never, not once has it malfunctioned and i like that most of all.

 31. Update:     FedEx just dropped the pistol back off at my office.  I shipped it to them with the pistol and magazines only.  They sent it back with a Glock tupperware box, complete with cleaning brush etc.. According to the invoice they replaced both magazines, the slide stop, the trigger bar, trigger housing and ejector.  I will report back once we can get it to the range.

 32. I don't do the IDPA shoots on Wednesday, we go to church, so I don't know what the different guys are running there.   And I'm not talking about the SR1911's. I think we can all agree that those are really good ones.   I have sold many SR9's and 45's to a lot of folks coming in looking for either Glocks or M&P's. Yes, price point helps. I had a guy in last week, wearing a Glock hat, shirt, and the "I'm ALL about Glock" attitude. He wanted a 43 BAD. I showed it to him, and he did all the inspection and said he'd take it. I said, "Before we do that, let me just show you one more thing." I handed him an LC9s. I explained it held one more round than the 43, and I wanted him to just try the trigger. He did the fondling, pulled the trigger, looked at me wide eyed, looked at the price tag, and said, "Uh... uh... I'll take that instead!"   There's nothing wrong with M&P's or Glocks or XD's OR Rugers. All are fine guns. I've never understood the outright hatred some folks exhibit for anything that isn't THEIR favorite brand. Some people are just "label ho's," as my wife says, lol, and they never look past the brand. Sometimes something outside of your favorite brand just might be a better fit for you; you just may never know it until someone takes the time to show you.   One of MY favorite 9's? Lol... my Canik TP9sa. Absolutely LOVE the way it fits ME.

 34. Why not just make a criminal registry where people can do background checks? I think animal cruelty is a terrible crime, but I bet someone that has had a gun stuck in their face and robbed thinks that’s just as bad or worse.

 36. It's not shaming; they are felons. That is a matter of public record. A registry doesn't make them more or less of a felon, nor does it magically free up information that is secret or compartmented. Every person has access to criminal records, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with making those records more convenient for the public to access. As for their life, I don't care. Not one bit. If you're convicted of a felony, especially if the crime was torturing a defenseless creature, you get to pay the consequences. There isn't an ounce of empathy toward people who do that. They made their bed and now they have to lie in it.

 40. If you haven't recently, PLEASE get a check-up with your doc before you start any serious exercise. A friend of mine didn't and died of a heart attack while exercising with his family. He was 34. If you haven't done any exercising in a long time, the best thing to start with is simply walking. Walk at a brisk pace for 30 mins or so. Do that 5x per week for a few weeks before you dive off into anything serious (P-90X, etc).

 43. Yes. Borboun must be made inside the United states, used a mash of at least 51% corn, aged in new oak barrels, distilled at no higher than 160 proof, barreled at no higher than 125 proof, and bottled at 80 proof or higher. 95% of borboun is made in Kentucky. Technically Jack Daniels qualifies as a borboun, but advertises as Tennessee whiskey because it is filtered through 10-22 feet of sugar maple charcoal. This is known as the Lincoln County process and is what creates Tennessee Whiskey Sent from behind the anvil

 48. Heck...you can do that with a Glock..you just gotta try harder! :pleased:   I double charged a 45 acp...11.4 grs of Win 231 and destroyed my Glock 21. It was in the late 1990's. Bulged the barrel and slide, split the frame and blew the plastic off the trigger...and ejected my mag pretty hard. But I got my shot ! and no injuries!   Yes we handloaders should call it a good day when we have all our digits..because all it takes is a moment of focused inattention to do what I did. My fault alone...   Glock replaced my pistol btw...they knew it was a handload and wanted to examine the "remains". Good customer service imho.
