Bob forgot his wedding anniversary and his wife was really pissed. She told him "Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in less 6 seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE !!" The next morning he got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up, she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway. Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, brought the box back in the house. She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale. Bob has been missing since Friday.6 points

Take a moment and inventory your stash. If you're able to count it, you don't have enough. NOW is the time to stock up. Don't say Greg didn't warn you. Don't come crying here after the next ammo hysteria. Buy it cheap and stack it deep . It won't get any cheaper than today folks. :up:4 points

Its hard not to say anything derogatory anymore about these yutzes in MO and the rest of the world..I am tired of having to make statements so the rest of them do not get offended..I was not alive when slavery was common , I was not a slave driver and I do not know half of the crapp that went on back then because its history and I am not interested in it.I hear enough of it from people.Get off of welfare, find a job and stop being a victim and stop whining how sttuff is around here..Least you are not wearing a burka.. yet:)4 points

But what about the ones already here? If every state in the Union refused that would only leave one place and I believe DC would be the PERFECT place for all these refugees. Should be a requirement that everyone who approved this crap take in at least one in their household to live with THEIR family.3 points

Got it Saturday, and it is a thing of beauty. My son is going to love it, but he won't see it until Christmas. (I hide my wife's presents in the gun safe and presents for my teen-agers in the laundry room... no one ever finds anything.)3 points

We don't really need to be sharing ideas on what would constitute a good terrorist attack. They don't need a ny more sources for idea. ....but, if they attacked whatever facility is responsible for welfare and social security checks they would really cripple things. All the people nursing the social welfare teet would go crazy and many would nearly starve if so much as one months installment of free money were to be disrupted.3 points

Nothing surprises me about the young people in this country these days. It seems it's all about ME ME ME and to hell with anyone that does not agree with ME!!!! As far as I'm concerned ME is at the very bottom of my list of things I agree with. Maybe when a terrorist Group attacks one of the Colleges all the ME's are protesting at maybe they might learn something but that is a small maybe!!!! They will find someone else to blame for it probably. It can never be ME that is wrong. All I can say is good luck with your ME ME ME protests when you put your cause before the deaths of over 100 people and the 300+ that were injured...........jmho3 points

Sometimes my home state makes me proud. I think we all will agree with this. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/11/16/classroom-firepower-ohio-teachers-increasingly-pack-heat-on-job/?intcmp=hpbt42 points

It also appears many of these "homegrown" terrorists fought in Syria, which would explain their level of comfort and expertise using weapons and explosives. I just couldn't believe that you could get a group of French born and raised kids and have them execute such a well planned, coordinated attack while at the same time effectively utilizing all weapons involved. There is simply no place in France that they could have received all the necessary training in order to so successfully conduct their attack. So they trained in Syria, and ISIS used their access and knowledge of their enemy country to carry out the attack. Your everyday wannabe internet jihadi just doesn't have the discipline and training to do this. Just like your everyday, Internet jihadi killing keyboard commando wouldn't have the training and discipline to go face ISIS on the battlefield. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Devil's advocate here. Considering how the Feds handle the ingress/egress of people through the national borders and we have free movement throughout the states (no internal border checks at state borders) how exactly is any governor going to prevent the the settlement of refugees in their state? While they may prevent the utilization of state resources to aid their assimilation into local communities, I don't see how they can actually prevent settlement. It all smacks of political posturing to me more than anything else. It makes the 'Murica types pump their fists and go "hell yeah!" but doesn't actually mean anything.2 points

Mine arrived today. It's a beast! Much larger than I pictured in my mind. I like the safety lever on this so I don't have to worry about accidentally opening it. Very nice. Thanks again Willis!2 points

It's a bit like aiming your shotgun behind the duck and expecting to bag him, but better late than never I guess.2 points

The next knife will in fact be the Magic, I am thinking of offering Both Black and stonewashed blades on these, I may post the official thread earlier, but as previously stated these would be done and dusted in May that is unless you all want it sooner, I can accommodate that as well2 points

I concur. Availability is the best it's been for several years now, but we can't count on that lasting very much longer. And Musicman is 100% correct "It never gets cheaper". I'm concentrating on components at this time myself. If you haven't started casting and handloading...well, What the heck are you waiting for? :cool:2 points

As a new viewer of FB, I heartily believe it is pure trash. Good for two things only. 1 Long distance communication between friends and family 2 Enforcing the "me, me first and look at me" mindset. I have used it for number one, and laugh at those of number 2 Ok...maybe it isn't strictly 2 things, but it's darn close to that. And has contributed to the erosion of character, morality, and the ability to speak and write as we old farts were taught in school.2 points

Let's see.....which is more important? A picture painted on a bathroom wall made out of turd, or over 100 innocent people killed in a religious attack? HMMMM. How about instead of "Black Lives Matter", let's change it to "Shut up and get a job!"? A black dude is the friggin' President! Your claims of "white privilege" don't hold much water.2 points

Way back in the dim past; when I took my carry class. I finished my course of fire and turned in my target. I was told to do it again. I wasn't allowed to use head shots to qualify. So I went back and did center mass and did get qualified. That was as near as I can figure, about 1994. I don't know if that would be allowed now or not. But Buford didn't like it.2 points

I really like this gun. I purchased several guns from an estate, which included this one. It has two cylinders. Back then they etched a naval battle into the cylinders. One of them was the every day cylinder and everything was rubbed off over time. The other one is in pretty good shape. I'm rather surprised that the bore is in as good shape as it is. The holster belt would be about the right size for my thigh. The cartridge box is pretty cool. I've really enjoyed learning how to preserve and care for these old guns - it's totally different than with modern guns. There is a special soap you clean them with, a special mild abrasive you clean them further with. Rust is removed with a little piece of copper, which is better than anything modern I have seen. You don't protect them with oil, but with a special wax. Anyway, I've really enjoyed this gun.1 point

I'm a big fan of the TWS and the minute they released it for the M92, I got one. I have them on all my other AK's. Much better than the stock m92 cover. Get Kel-Tecs peep sight for the SU-16. Windage adjustable and half the cost of the TWS. It also co witnesses (lower 1/3) with some optics. I run mine with a Burris FastFire III.1 point

My son took his first buck with a .223 Rossi Single shot using 55 gr soft points. Works just fine. Shot placement as always. Personally, I used a .458 Socom on the AR platform for deer.1 point

So, many years ago I briefly did some grassroots Mt. bike racing for KHS. Didn't amount to much except I really enjoyed it and they gave me a lot of cool stuff. Kids came along and couldn't find time for the bikes, races, and spandex anymore. Well, the kids are getting to the age where they can ride with me now, so I decided to jump back in. WOW how technology changed! Most of what is normal low end now, was super high end unobtanium back in the day. Mind you I started when full suspension was in its infancy and disc brakes were controversial. Anyway, loving my new Breezer Supercell (Expert). As my birthday approaches Monday, I'm confronted with the reality that I didn't get younger but I got a lot fatter and more out of shape!! Love riding the trails once again. Debated going road, but I stuck with my roots. Just love the woods much better than dodging traffic. Plus, a clydesdale on a road bike and spandex just looks SOOO wrong ;) (Stock photo) I did swap the triple crank rings for a Race Face NW 32 single, new Continental X-King tires, and a tubeless setup. Other than that, I think I'm done with the mods.1 point

I've been saying it. From all the pictures I've seen ALL these "refugees" are fighting aged men. No women and NO children. It's a Trojan Horse without the horse. It's gonna spread and it will be fast.1 point
