We will see a war on our soil again, no way it would not happen. It is just a matter of when but I believe we are getting very close. And it is just not our country but the entire world. Find me a country that has not been in some sort of military fray in the last 10 years. The vast majority of the countries on this planet are dealing with terrorism or the muslim invaders attacking the countries internally. We have been largely devoid of the type of protests and antics these types pull in the EU but that will someday change as well. They have done it in every other country so they know exactly what they are doing and they will do it here. On top of that threat we have the threat of our own government attacking us. They are calling gun owners terrorists and feel like the veterans they are a threat. Well you know what, they are and especially so when they are not treated like the patriots they are. At some point something does have to give because we cannot keep going like we are and hope to survive as a country. But make no mistake there will be US blood shed at some point in our future.7 points

Remember that idiot in the local bar that would mumble about something or another, talking all kinds of a big game, when you knew full well all he was ever going to do was go home and piss himself, then come back and plant himself on the same stool tomorrow? As far as I'm concerned, that's the majority of the internet. Talk is cheap when you're on a bar stool or behind a keyboard.4 points

I sent them a message saying that one of the plastic clips on my holster was bent out of shape(been wearing it every day since I got it at the beginning of this year)... 5 minutes later my phone was ringing and the lady informed me that she's sending not one pair but two pairs of steel clips as an upgrade because I bought two holsters from them earlier this year. I said, "That was a fast response," to which she replied, "I called you as soon as I saw your message." I am one satisfied customer.3 points

I tend to get my news from different sources because I haven't trusted the "media" since about 1983 when a reporter told a fellow LEO that she'd make something up if he didn't tell her his story when he killed someone in the line of duty. I don't trust anyone with a clear agenda whether it be individuals, FOX News or MSNBC. But what is troubling to me isn't the reporting but rather what I see in the comments section below the stories. Time and again the comments below the story interject politics regardless of whether or not the story is a political one. Time and again the comments consist of insulting remarks towards others that they don't even know, nor would they have the guts to say the same in person. Keyboard Commandos is what I call such individuals, and it seems that this county is just chock full of them! Heck, Ive even seen them on this moderated forum although they don't tend to last very long! It seems like civil discourse is a thing of the past anymore, and that's a big red flag for me as far as this country's very survival is concerned. Nothing gets done because people are too charged up with an us versus them mentality and hurt feelings. Sort of, "Why should I discuss anything with someone who can only hurl insults at me?" type of mindset. Consider that in the 1800's there were disagreements concerning various ideas as to how this country should be operated, and those disagreements eventually devolved into The American Civil War in 1861. This was a time of a more civil discourse between parties, and it turned into one of the bloodiest times in our history still impacting us today! Today we have Facebook and Twitter that can take a disagreement to hostilities in mere minutes. Also consider that one of the common denominators with the mass shooters in recent history is their use of the Internet. Could it be that people who feel socially awkward in public turn to the Internet and its unregulated conduct just to find the worst in human interactions, and then they flip that switch that says everybody sucks and deserves to die? I've seen some members of this forum comment upon how there would never be another civil war - and chastise others for even thinking that there will be - but I submit that the evidence indicates the contrary. I'm watching our society devolve into a bunch of rude :poop: heads that have no respect for anyone else, their opinion, or even their life. I see it on the roads with what we've termed "Road Rage," and I've seen it in our politics, entertainment, and even in religion of all places. I see other countries that do not like us do their best to exert pressure as well. I see our country polarizing to a degree that I've never witnessed in my 55 years, so what makes the terrifying idea of a civil war coming so far out there? This time it won't be North against South, but rather Conservative versus Liberal with it being even harder to identify the enemy. And this time it will weaken us at a time when other countries are just waiting for that right moment to attack, and then we'll be screwed. Yes, I don't foresee good things for this country because I don't see any way to change the pathway before us.3 points

I was thoroughly bored with this episode. It took me two evening to watch the whole thing, and that's with fast forwarding the commercials. To me Morgan's character is un-relatable for the reasons OhShoot mentioned earlier. I don't see anyone operating in his extreme mindsets, either pole. He either needs to get his mind right or go away, I really don't care which at this point.2 points

We have a dog that we are pretty sure is mixed with a Malinios. He's fantastic. Good guard dog but incredibly loving and well behaved. 2 points

I definitely agree with this line of thinking - ever since message boards and chat rooms were developed people have used the cyber domain as a geopolitical battlespace. I see it too - on news outlets, Facebook pages and YouTube videos the comments devolve into insults, racism, mildly concealed threats and sheer stupidity and ignorance. A lot of this has to do with the lack of interpersonal communications. Which is not all bad - we connect at greater rates thanks to boards like Reddit, TGO, etc...but people who dont have any damn sense get online and exert that "Keyboard Commando" style. No logical discourse, no supporting facts other than Wiki or heresay (*cough* DamYankee *cough*). And kids see this and take on the same mindset. No one wants to contact their Reps they rather be Tumblr/Facebook social rights ninjas by pushing out irrelevent and false information. The masses eat it up. Hell; Europeans and Australians love bashing on America, and Americans agree. They blame it on the "right wing." To everyone else we are rednecks who cling to guns and bibles. They say we hate blacks and mexicans. We are KKK members, we support mass shootings (or the Govt organizes it). Most news is built on conspiracy theories rather than facts. Back in the day we had the Black Knight Sattelite and Area 51 now EVERYTHING is scrutinized to the point of brainwashing - the govt works with "Big Pharma" to poison us. We invented Bin Laden. We insert agents for Mass Shootings. We put GPS trackers in vaccines. We blow up Mosques and hospitals...the list goes on, we have all seen it. All my colleagues from HS, college and even the Army drink the KoolAid too. People love stirring the pot. Lies, slander, defamation and misinformation are just tools of the trade - they are not "wrong" anymore. Using all the social media spawned ignorance the nefarious politcal parties in America can act with impunity the recruit young Americans into their sects and continue to attempt to cast us into some sort of communist country. Hell - Libertarians are mildly concealed Anarchists that just want to legalize pot. Hardcore Conservatives are too hard lined and "Old Guard" to recruit any young people. The whole "Nanny State" thing is very much real. Dont like someone? Call them a racist and retard redneck. Hack their FB, trace their IP, make some stupid hash tag campaign. It is sad when celebrities and TV personalities hold more sway than community leaders or politicans. Many people rather listen to Kanye or Lady Gaga than anything else. The Nuclear Family is under attack. Planned Parenthood and unemployment/welfare is the go to answer. They rely on the govt and then hate them too. The Neo Feminist tells our sisters and daughters to go have sex with everyone. Go out and drink, get abortions, get an Arts degree - destabilize yourself and join groups of washed up burn outs. Hedonism is just having fun. Breaking the law is having fun. Flaming people online is having fun...did you get flamed for being an ignoranus? That person is racist and launch an anti bullying campagain to show you "care" Churchs are evil! Dont tithe to them but donate money to the DNC, Planned Parenthood and social media initiatives! They'll square you away! You dont need parental guidance - theyre Baby Boomers/Gen X they dont understand! I can go on and on about this. The end is nigh. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk2 points

Perfect world scenario for the Titans... Peyton Manning wins the Superbowl and retires. Peyton Manning then fulfills the rumors that have been circulating for the last 2 years about him buying the Titans with the help of an investment group. Titans then rebuild under Peyton Manning.2 points

Summer Sausage: 2 lbs. ground venison 1/4 tbsp. of salt 1/2 tbsp. of black pepper 1/2 tbsp. of garlic powder 2 tbsp. of mortons tender quick (got to have this as it cures the meat & prevents spoilage or poisoning) 1 tbsp. of whole mustard seed 1 tbsp. of liquid smoke 3/4 cup of water Mix all this up good & separate into 2 egual lumps, then rollinto sausage shapes. Roll the rolls on course black pepper sprinkled onto wax paper. Then roll the rolls up in tin foil & put in refrigerator for 24 hrs. to let the meat cure & seasoning set. After 24 hrs. remove the tin foil & bake (or you can smoke) for 1 to 1 1/2 hrs.at 350 degrees. Let cool & roll in freezer paper, and tape shut. Can be frozen for long term storage or just refrigerated & eaten at your leisure. caution; do not let your hunting buddies have even a little bite, they will eat it all. I've started adding some diced jalapeno's to mine of late, just for a little more spicey.2 points

This. Older revolvers will do that. My uncle's 6906 he carried with NYPD Vice also did that. Granted he threw it on the ground rather than "drop" it (He is the same dude who chucks golf clubs) Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk2 points

There are many older pistols that are not drop safe depending on how they're carried. Old school 1911s are that way: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

At this point, I don't care. They had me all worked up about it at the end of last week, but I've now lost interest in the "is he or isn't he" topic. If he's alive, then good. I like the character. If he's gone, fine. There are others that I also like and it opens the door for Rick to put peacenik Morgan in his place. You can't save everyone.2 points

Our forefathers faced similar oppressive taxation, albeit not in the form of "healthcare reform". They did something about it too. I wonder when the American taxpayers will finally hit the limit of what they are willing to put up with?2 points

The only reason people even buy that spaghetti-bender BS is because it's "Mil Spec" so all the tacticool kiddies can pretend to be Operator. SA/DA pistols are stupid. The only thing the Italians are good at making in the ordnance/firearms realm is Anti-Tank Land Mines (VS-1.2 and Val 69 in particular). The fact that we chose the pistol makes me hate it even more. Stupid trigger. Stupid aesthetics. Stupid Beretta. Grrrrrrrr. /RantOff Me too ! I wouldn't offend a Glock by offering 25ACP casings. I would have to offer at least $400. Unless it's a .40 SW - then I'll melt it. If it is a .40 Cal I feel the same. However - I wouldn't walk if it as free - that would be offensive to the Brand, I pay for Perfection ;) Lol FanBoiStuff. Do not get me started on .40SW Crossfire lol.2 points

I don't see any democrats running. During the first democrat debate, the candidates were asked to state how they saw themselves politically (or something like that). Sanders claimed to be Socialist and hillary said she is a progressive. It really baffles me how some people think that either of the two leading "democrat" candidates would be a good choice for america. It would be like voting to continue the train wreck that has been the last 7 years. I really wonder if those that still complain about Bush have been paying attention recently beacuse obama makes bush look like a saint IMO.2 points

Great to see everyone and put some faces to some board members. Strange though NO one showed up yesterday to help clean all this stuff ;o) JK.. those that know me know this is a FIRST that everything I have is now clean at the same time! Great shoot, glad so many got to experience NFA for the first time. We'll definitely have to do it again soon for those who couldn't make it. Kris and I echo everyone's comments. Thank you to all who supported the drive and a sincere thanks to all the guys who stood fast on the ranges to help be sure everything was safe and everyone was having fun. I enjoy watching folks shoot more than I do shooting but I know some of my guys it was probably killing them to watch ;o) Note below videos are links so be sure to click on them for the action! https://vimeo.com/144517972 https://vimeo.com/144518191 https://vimeo.com/144518524 https://vimeo.com/144520469 https://vimeo.com/144520591 Thanks again. I don't think Gruden will leave MNF, but I would love to see him coach here. I just like his style. Also wonder if there may be a play for Chip Kelly since things aren't great in Philly. Not sure it would work here, but with their history, it could be interesting.1 point

Can you really trust any politician to do what they say they will do once elected? I think for the most part they all speak out both sides of their mouths and as the Indians use to say Speak with Forked Tongue!!!! They will tell you what they think you want to hear depending on who they are talking to just to get that vote! Once they get elected the very first time they automatically become eligible for all the benefits they will receive for life when they leave or get kicked out of office by the people that vote them out because of the first lies. We have a man in the Oval office that has blatantly lied to the American people with every speech he has ever made and everyone knows it yet no one in Washington does anything about it. His most recently lie arises last week with No Boots on the Ground in Syria he made in 2013. How about if you Like your Insurance you can keep it!!! that was a whopper that he knew was a lie yet he kept saying it. Now we have a Female Democrat running for President that has been caught in more lies than most can count and yet is still in the lead in the polls for her party. I say until the people begin to hold all of their feet to the fire it will remain a status Quo.......jmho1 point

Comm... We have a dillon 650 that i bought from an old buddy that wuz downsizin and tired of reloading... I like em, and their customer service is excellent... The main problem with progressives is that ya need to settle on a recipe that ya are gonna use and load it... If ya do, ya can pile up bunches of ammo... If ya are a tinkerer and experimenter, ya just as well have a single stage... That bein said, we have several "standard" loads that we load a minimum of about 500 rounds for on the dillon... They are great for straight side pistol cartridges, but lots of folks load 223 on em too... I never have... The most dangerous thing with a progressive is powder charging, so ya need to use a powder recipe that will allow you to spot an overcharge... We have double charged some cases; but i always select a recipe that will overflow the case if ya have a double charge... We also use a powder check die in the station to make sure as well... Lots of folks make them and they are a valuable tool... The thing about the dillon is that you can set up your dies in a die head and just change them out when you change calibers...Another down side is if ya change bullet designs within a caliber, ya need to re-set the seating and crimping dies... That's why ya need to settle on the bullets and recipes that ya load... Initial set up is a pain with these things, so it's handy to be able to lock down the dies on the die head after ya get things the way ya want them and just change them out with the change in calibers... Finally, the speed of a progressive is overhyped...Speedy reloading is dangerous reloading, i think... I've never loaded 500 rounds of anything in an hour... It's more like two hours... Hope this gets ya ta thinkin a bit... I'm sure others will chime in on this... leroy1 point
