The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America, When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world. He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good. He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them. He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only. He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures. He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people. He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within. He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands. He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers. He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries. He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance. He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures. He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power. He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation: For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us: For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States: For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world: For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent: For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury: For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies: For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments: For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever. He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us. He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people. He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation. He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands. He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions. In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people. Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our Brittish brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends. We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor. Was watch the deer come in this morning and they spooked big time and took off, less than 10 secs later I see this guy come over the hill. 123yds. with rem 700 300blk. Im going to try to tan the hide but really have no clue what i'm doing there. Got a diy kit from gander mtn. a few years back so hopefully it will turn out well. Too nice of a coat to let go to waste.2 points

Patriots are a special breed. There are still a lot but unfortunately being a loud mouth always whining about something is more popular. Their numbers are BS. People aren’t going to leave this country. I’m frustrated with people like Obama also; but I’m not going to let him or those threatening an overthrow change how I feel about my county, or cause me to leave. We have a system for change in place and that’s how it will work.2 points

They're also smart enough to know that a disarmed populace is a subdued and subservient populace... which is precisely why it fits their master plans. We're talking about people with twisted, despotic visions for the future of this nation... inching their way toward the elite, plutocratic oligarchy they so desperately want to implement. The little booklet that came with the tanning kit said to use dish soap to wash the oils out of the hide. It seems to have done the trick. but i have one more set of washings to do before the tanning chems.1 point

Oh Shoot, I just read that writeup in the link you posted. His groups are left. All he needs to do to bring them right is turn the slot that shows as being pointed straight up in the chamber just a little bit right as in the 1 o'clock position. It will move the group right. His groups are average for that kind of ammo. I just order a bricked of SK Standard Plus for mine yesterday as I just realized I was down to 4 boxes left. I plan to keep my Center X for my Anschutz since the SK is working fine. If my buddy decide to sell me his RWS ammo I think he has 1.5 bricks of it SO I'll be set for a while. Lp1 point

Reading about it, it is covered with a rubber-ish coating which as LP mentions you also lube, and it turns with the rifling as inserted and removed, rather than rubbing against it. http://www.svartkrutt.net/board/index.php?id=319 - SO .1 point

How tactical? Can you go practical? First shotgun class I did I worked out of pockets. With a good belt, you can carry a bunch of stuff. Simple sling on my rem 870. Next class I used a fisherman's pouch with the sling adjusted perfectly for reloading. Use the gear you're most likely to be using? My innocuous fishing bag is zippered, semi-waterproof and easily stored near my shotgun ready to go. I'm still learning about "employing a shotgun in a tactical situation," so I keep it simple.1 point

The HPA 9mm carbines the best bang for the buck even though it's not the best looking of available carbines. I've looked at the Berettal Carbine and like and like the Just Arms one too. Yeah 10 round mags are a bummer but maybe someone will finally decide to market a reliable 15 or 20 round mag.1 point

ideally a safe would be long-gun deep so you could just put a row on a shelf. The safes are too shallow, and you can't do that. A 5 foot deep safe would hold most and you could have instant access to something like what, 50 long guns? I dunno if such a thing exists, would be near double the price at a guess...1 point

That sounds a lot like Balcone's True Blue. The corn smell and taste is very noticeable in it as well, reminding you of the fact that moonshine is only a barrel and a few years away from being whiskey. Sounds like something I need to try! Thanks for sharing.1 point

That's the exact Valor I just picked up. SERIOUSLY thinking about having DW build me the same gun, but this time in 38 Super! BTW, for a steel framed gun, it's balance is superb. Doesn't feel like it weighs 35 ounces.1 point

I agree 100%. Something has to give and running away from the problem is NOT the answer. It doesn't take courage to run away and leave problems behind. It takes real courage to stay and fix those problems. That's part of what's wrong with Mexico. One of my biggest problems with my fellow conservatives in this country is that they are more idealistic than the liberals. It's rare the left stays home during an election to teach their party a lesson, but we saw the right do it 2 elections in a row. We can't reset the government if that many people withdraw from the process.1 point

This is our son, and his lovely wife, winning not one but two awards during his recent Air Force leadership academy. We are so proud of our son. Only 2% win the Academic Excellence but on top of that he also won the Distinguished Graduate award. His Academic Excellence award was for having the highest academic scores of two training flights, 30 students. The Distiguished Graduate award is given to the Airman who displayed outstanding leadership during the course as voted by his peers. He is, and always will be, my hero.1 point

anyone here ought to know that no one is ever unarmed. You can draw and fire in fractions of a second, slightly longer if you are slow, but a well concealed gun is nearly invisible and the time to deploy is tiny. Drawing first, getting the drop, there is a time to think that way. You don't have to shoot, but give yourself the option when it makes sense to do so. Driving off was the better choice HERE, granted. But in general, no one is *ever* unarmed to me. as for adrenaline ... this can also be practiced. you can do thrill type exercises to get a 'hit' and learn to enter the 5th ring, to be calm in spite of it. Its a weird sensation, but you don't have to let it affect your rational thoughts, and with a little practice, it won't. It helps if you already have worked on emotion control before this step, though.1 point

I would happily buy any one of them a one way ticket today to any foreign country of their choosing. The only stipulation I would require is that they leave for two years, and at the end of that time should they want to repatriate, they repay me 150% of the original ticket price.1 point

My best guess - it's not Chicago's fault it's all those evil gun sellers elsewhere. Which would be why total gun control is needed. One of the many things that bothers me is that the Clintons and Obama are smart people. They are smart enough to know that neither research nor common sense indicates the gun control would change anything in the US.1 point
