Here are a few from my honeymoon from Niagra Canada and all points north. I like night time photography and landscapes. A big fan of the manual focus.

My daughter Shayelan has been a guard at the Newport jail for a while now with the plan of becoming a Police officer, and Sheriff Fontes told her today that he is going to make her a reserve deputy for and if she does a good job and get good reports from her supervising officers the county will send her to police academy in October. I am very proud of her, she is a single mother who works 2 jobs to support herself and my Granddaughter and really deserves a good break. So if your in Cocke County next year and get pulled over by a pretty blond cop tell her to say hi to her daddy John for ya it might get you out of a ticket lol :up:

The 2 best tapes were far and above Darryl and Carol. I lost it when Darryl was standing there in her living room with that possum still in his hand, then Carol comes out dressed like June Cleaver talking about making casseroles and meeting the neighbors. This was the funniest episode they've ever done. :up:

I'm picking up various smaller fixed-blade knives lately and this one just arrived on Friday. I specifically hunted down the NIlox steel version of the DPx H.E.S.T. II because I wanted something with corrosion resistance that would hold an edge fairly well. There are other versions of this knife that don't use a stainless steel and instead rely on their powder coated blades and your common sense to keep them wiped down with oil to prevent rust from forming. I haven't bothered to see if anyone else on here has posted about the HEST or HEST II so pardon me while I just drop some knife porn...

  Yep, funny to us, but a believable story for the Congresswoman, followed up by living the lie in a cardigan. It makes her a great sleeper agent. They have no idea that she's the most dangerous and unpredictable one.   I could see the group owning the whole place after Carol secretly poisons them all with casseroles. Rick would just be standing there dumbfounded.   She played up the sweet den-mother thing from start to finish. Notice how she made herself look so awkward taking her rifle off and putting it in the pile, like she was uncomfortable even handling a firearm.

Carol cracked me up.   "I miss that silly stupid man everyday..."

There is no way I would have given up my weapons. If they wanted my family there to help protect them then I would keep my guns or hit the road.

  The ammo tax also helps pay for the ranges TWRA administrates, so others have a place where they can practice shooting.    If you're going to get into a different forum, fine, your loss, not ours.  But if you plan to stay around, enjoy our community, and benefit from it, I would suggest you don't come into someone elses house and proceed tell them what's what, immediately after saying hello.

Ive got a vortex pst, no rubber ring,1X4 for 3 gun, its great out to 500 yards, its rugged, durable, glass is nice, holds zero pretty darn good. i paid about 425 for the one im running. HTH

We as citizens have a finite window to impress on our own elected representatives our wish for them to co-sponsor these bills (if any are in favor of them). Numbers of co-sponsors shows Leadership the mood of the body.  Now is the time to write, call and visit your Representatives and Senators if you are of a mind to be involved and not just let Beth and Bill make all the decisions for you. Leadership has made the decision to force all firearms bills to run at one time, as far as I am concerned, contaminating their vaunted "Committee" system with the stain of partisan, paid for politics.  Speak now, or forever hold your peace.

I didn't say the M-16 wasn't a deadly rifle. I'm saying the same thing you said. It was designed to be light, low recoil with smaller lighter ammo so the soldier could carry more.

My usual carry guns are a Kahr CW9 or a SIG 228. But I decided on the occasions where a 9mm might be too big (running, or somewhere where pocket carry makes more sense - like church) I needed an even smaller option. I wanted a quality pistol that I could count on, but knowing it wouldn't be used very often (except running) I didn't want to break the bank. I ended up going with the Ruger LCP with the CT laser. The ergonomics and weight are very good, no sharp corners to dig in to the carrier or snag upon drawing, and the laser is great. It turns on by gripping the pistol firmly. No little buttons to find and no need to look through extremely tiny sights in a dynamic situation. Fits my needs exactly.

Sounds like a French Military weapon to me.

Load your own ammunition and you won't have to pay those pesky taxes.   And to prevent all the drama later on you might "need to get into a different forum"

I've been known to shoot cheap crappy ammo in some of my own guns, it cleans up.  I think their concern has more to do with bad reloads.  Can't blame them, I wouldn't want Bubba running his homemade loads through my gun. 

Oh, I didn't mean to insult. I'm jealous. I love pretty much anything Ithaca. Had I found it at a decent price, I'd have brought it home with me as well.     Now that you say that, it may well be an original Dulite finish. If so, man it's in primo shape! The stamping in the frame does look crisp. :up:
