I know we have a lot of photographers here on TGO, myself included. There was another thread of this type a while back but it is so old a lot of the links to the photo hosting sites are no longer good so I thought that I would start a new thread so we could share our work with one another. Please contribute your own work. Here are a few of my favorites from the past couple of years. I don't care if you use my pictures for private use, I would appreciate a PM if anyone intends to use them for any other purpose. I know there are a lot of really fine little 380s out there. I recently got rid of all of my 380s and went to 9mm. There's just one 380 I could not part with. This little honey is just too sweet to part with. The slide is silky smooth, nights sights and the trigger is crisp but not too light.4 points

There are no shortage of things to see, the biggest natural lake at that high of an altitude, a huge canyon and 300+ ft. waterfall, steam vents all over the place and bubbling out the lake, multicolored ponds of acid water, mountains and steaming hills, buffelo, elk, pronghorn, bears, wolves, moose and of course geysers. Out of all the places I wanted to visit in the world Yellowstone was the top of my list, next would be the Grand Canyon someday. Screw a bunch of big city buildings, give me mountains and ocean any day. 3 points

I really like the sig. I liked it so much I was one of the first in line when the 9mm came out, and that has been my carry piece since. But no gun is for everyone, they are small. Medium sized hands *and* the extended mags will let you get a full grip on it. Giant hands or extra long fingers might find it awkward. And as always the safety debate... it has one, that is the tradeoff for an easy trigger.3 points

I'll join the Sig 238 chorus... They are a great little pistola... I've carried mine every day for the last 4 years or so in a D.M Bullard roughout pocket holster, either in my front pocket or in a coat or vest pocket... It's flat and reasonably light... It's reliable and dead accurate... Exactly what a pocket pistol should be... Havin said all that, i would recommend handling the pistols ya think ya might like and making the choice based on handling and shooting... I 'like' the Sig 238, Sig 232, Walther PPK, Bersa Thunderer, Glock 42, Kahr 380, S & W 380... They are all great choices... The trick is to find one ya like and will carry all the time... Dont leave home without 'em... leroy3 points

I've dropped a carry gun before, I'm not proud of it and I can say the problem was not properly using a holster. Two things here 1) Carry your firearm properly to where the risk of dropping it is minimized, check and double check that this is done. 2) DO NOT, under any circumstances, like TDR stated, try to catch a falling gun. Just let it fall, no quality modern gun is going to go off if it hits the ground. Plus they are carry guns, if it gets a scuff on it, who cares? I hate to play arm chair quarter back and I only do so in the hopes that I can educate others through mistakes that I have made so that they don't make the same mistake.2 points

I own a standard model Bersa Thunder .380 and a slightly smaller concealed carry version. Both of them are terrific. There's also a double-stack Plus model that will give you 15 shots.2 points

My wife's carry and my suit-carry is a Sig P238. Very solid weapon, and quite compact. The selling point for my wife: it is a locking breach pistol, and therefore the slide does not have to be tightly sprung -- she can manage the slide easily. It is an elegant, tight and accurate weapon.2 points

I will have to turn on my PC tomorrow to get a few good ones but I have one I did on my phone a while back with one of my G Shock watches with my Jeep in the background. G-Shock actually used this pic for their background on their North American facebook page for a while.2 points

The 2 signifies a later production, but I can not recall why. I don't know even even all of them have it now. I also don't remember if it signifies any changes other than a production period. I wonder if it was to recognize as a pre-period for a state allowing some magazines to be grandfathered into law?1 point

Well.. we did it.. again.. This is Odie, he is our latest rescue pup! Adopted him from the local shelter 3 weeks ago, we had to wait a week to have him neutered so he's only been with us for 2 weeks. This was taken the day we got him home. They said that he was an owner surrender and they were told it was Lab/Pit mix. He looking nothing like a lab, I do see the possibility of Pit and I am thinking some sort of hound mixed in. His ears are absolutely ridiculous! They are starting to stand straight up now. Which is pretty hilarious. He only has the sweater on because he was 9.6 lbs and super skinny. Way to skinny, so he needed to stay warm. He has since been fattened up and gained about 10 lbs. He is happy now! Here are some snow pictures too, this is the gang out romping around, I can share it, now that it's gone. Thank god. This is Floyd being a creeper across the pond, which froze totally over. I like this line of thinking. Aside from being armed with a handgun, a bit of Brazilian Jujitsu would have been sweet. Maybe a broken nose and lacerations to the forehead due to elbow strikes followed by a rear naked choke that puts the dipsht to sleep. Wonder how the media would spin a guy getting attacked and defending himself but never upholstering his weapon?1 point

What if he was an off duty cop? This guy clearly lacks the ability to have a rational thought. I've often thought there is a chance of having the "man with gun" called in to police. But that's not hard to deal with. This brings it to another level.1 point

Hi, I'm Tedro2022 and I'm a dog-aholic. Love the critters, and everyone here has beautiful kids. Think I've shared mine before, but I'll do it again and give some background on them (best that I can): That guy right there? His name is Sarge. There's a little border collie and a little German Shepard mixed in with some other mutt juice with this guy. He was adopted by my wife before we got married a few years ago. She got him on Craigslist. The folks she got him from didn't care for him much and probably abused him a little as well. He's scared to death of loud noises, new people and the dark. Kid's really come a long way and once he warms up to you, you can't stop petting him (because he won't let you). He also comes running to the closet every morning after I put my pants on to sniff them, I've dubbed him my official pants inspector. This is Bailey, she's my pit bull/boxer mix. Bailey's coming up on being 10 years old this year. A former coworker rescued her off the side of the road where someone tied her up to a speed limit sign and left her. Took a few weeks but I went over to meet her she turned the corner from the top of the stairs at the house she was staying, ran down put her butt down and leaned into my leg while looking up at me with a "are you my new daddy?" look on her face. We've had a lot of fun over the years, and she's probably saved my life on more than one occasion. It'll be hell for me when she goes, but we won't go any further with that nonsense. She's a great watch dog around the house, especially when we're not home. Doesn't get along with all other dogs, but I watch her and keep her out of trouble. She's smart as a whip and knows not to trust anybody until I shake their hand. Not sure where she picked that up, but that wasn't my doing. Here's a couple more of them together, they like to snuggle: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

These are our mutts. The whole gang is here. From Left to Right we have : Chiquita "Banana" in the Thundershirt (Shar Pei and devil), Earl "The Squirrel or The Pearl" (1/2 Rottie, 1/4 Pit, 1/4 English Bulldog), Sophia "Meatloaf" (Pit and Lab), Maxwell VonTrampsalot (Labaweiner), Leroy Jethro Gibbs (American Staffordshire Terrier), Floyd (Earl's Brother/Litter mate). Clearly from the names you can tell I am a bit of a dogaholic. I love these goofballs more than anything in the world. We call them our kids, since we won't ever have real ones (by choice).1 point

You've done it now, I have an excuse to show off my little buddy. This is Ace. He's almost 4 months old now. Being a lab, he's rambunctious as all get out but he really surprises me every day how well he learns. He tears EVERYTHING up, as in I haven't found a toy he can't tear apart, even the rope ones for large dogs. Luckily, he doesn't chew on anything he's not supposed to, which surprised me. He's already got the commands sit, shake, lay down, and fetch down. I don't know if that's a lot for a dog his age or not, but like I said he really surprises me how well and how quick he learns. He stays outside and loves it, we put in one of the underground fences that stretches our entire property. However, this week he's staying in the garage out of the weather at night. Here is my Kasey girl. I rescued her from a huge Yellow tomcat that evidently stole her from a litter of puppies from some where and was trying to kill her. I hear her yapping outside under my truck. I had seen this big yellow cat many times and was probably 15 lbs + in size. I ran back in house and got a rough rider loaded with shorts and a pan of water, laid down beside the truck and threw the water on them. The cat raised it's head and I shot it and this bleeding ugly long wet puppy came waddling out form under my truck. picked her up and brought her in the house. She was bleeding from her nose on outside and from her ears where the cat scratched them. Other wise unscathed. A nice warm bath cleaned her up and I realized that this pup had not been weened yet. Still had foggy blue film on eyes and puppy breath. I had to bottle feed her about a month while getting her started on soft dog foods. That was 15+ years ago. My remaining two... Gulf Shores. All the kids on the beach loved them and they loved hunting down the beach crabs. DADDY, WHERE THE HELL IS OUR DINNER? Here's Maggie...I had to put her down last month. It was a complete surprise...out of the blue she started acting weird and having seizures. Vet found out it was a brain tumor and said nothing could be done. Two of the three were rescues who won the lottery (we're "those" dog owners). The one in the blue collar we've had since she was a puppy. Lexi the Queen just thinks this is how life is. The other two have had a bit of "reality." They are / were all scary smart. If they had thumbs, I'd be screwed.1 point

This is Bandit, she is about 16 months old? Mostly Lab. Sharp as a tack, and fully devoted to the family. Well trained, mostly well behaved and she loves to cuddle. She also loves to play. We got her from here on the board when she was just over a month old. I hope the rest of her litter mates did well, but Bandit knows she won the lottery. I have a cat too, Moeko, but she won't sit peacefully and pose for a picture in exchange for a tortilla chip. She has been with us for ten years now. She is a good cat.1 point
