Dang my lack of abilities here. I just saw this on my Comcast startup page.   We/I have lost an idol. One of the greatest(arguably for many) actors of tv, screen and stage passed away this afternoon.    His influence on a probable 4 generations of entertainment junkies is impossible to measure.   You will be missed "Mr. Spock"   Live Long and Prosper in our memories.

After a suitable amount of time to grieve, they should make an episode of BBT where Sheldon makes a clone of him.  He DOES have his DNA afterall.   :pleased:

crap,  people die.   I am sorry for his loved one's loss.   My favorite Nimoy work was "In Search Of" .  It was half of what H2 shows now in 144 episodes.  And oddly enough he only got the role because Serling died.   He did a couple episodes of Combat.  I have to search them out to see how the characters compared to Spock.

Do yourself a favor and spend some YouTube time viewing LN's videos. You'll find a episodes form Sea Hunt, The Lieutenant, Star Trek and more. He played some real smart ass jerks early on. As to his politics...well at least he didn't do a Jane Fonda number

How about 5 second bonus each rack(10sec total)for unpinned?   Somebody will be able to zero the stage. I guess that would be divide by zero. The Nook's CPU would explode.   Worth trying. Maybe no bonus for optics or MP5s.

Of course he will be Spock and always be Spock, and I really appreciate that he was in the two new Star Trek movies, but to me his favorite portraying will probably always be William Bell.

Loading for long range shooting is different than just loading plinking ammo. A turret press of any brand is not going to cut it IMO. I just sold my RCBS turret because I only used it in single stage, and a single stage press does not have the flex of the turret which means more consistent ammo. That does not mean you cannot load accurate ammo with a turret press, just that runout tends to be higher.

My GG father, gravitated from New Hampshire to Arkansas to farm and in less than a year joined a Calvary division of the Army of Arkansas. We knew he had served as a Hospital Steward and my paternal grandmother (1868 - 1960) had his saw bones kit. BUT, thanks to the web, I now have a microfiche copy of his ferry crossings and horse feed expenses (under his signature) for when he was charged with the task of apprehending deserters back in Arkansas. An odd task for a Hospital Steward used to doing limb amputations. I'll also vote for your reading "Company Aytch" by Sam Watkins. A CLASSIC! I would just start out with a single stage press, which is inexpensive and what you really want anyway for your application.  Get yourself a good reloading manual and read it, then read it again.

Namings like that are usually done posthumously though, so he'll have to wait. They announced the USS Neil Armstrong (also a naval aviator before his NASA career) shortly after he died in 2012.

Your missing a good 357 Magnum there sport, Were I buying new or near new it'd be a Ruger GP-100 4". Otherwise any other pistol you obtain will be that a semi auto pistol. But a good DA/SA revolver simply defines handgun ownership.

For what it's worth, when I make code changes to the site, I test the ever loving shit out of them across platforms and devices. The claimed purpose of this change is to “protect the lives and safety of law enforcement officers from the threat posed by ammunition capable of penetrating a protective vest when fired from a handgun”. As the Technical Branch well knows, all rifle ammunition of a common caliber such as .223 / 5.56 is capable of penetrating threat level IIA and IIIA body armor regardless of the firearm that is used to fire it. M855 / SS109 is no more of a threat to law enforcement than M193 or Horandy VMAX loads are. It’s also worth noting that rifle caliber pistols are rarely used in violent crime, their usage is a statistical zero for all practical purposes, which further begs the question as to why this proposed rule change is being considered. Banning the availability of affordable surplus ammunition under the false pretense that it’s in the name of officer safety is a clear violation of our 2nd Amendment rights.
