I got my butt whipped with a belt a few times as a kid. It was reserved for corporal punishment and usually when I had been corrected several times previously and still disobeyed or when I had done something dangerous/damaging, I deserved it when it happened, and I think I turned out alright. I disagree with anyone who believes that spanking a child isn't a viable correction tool. There are a lot of leaches on society out there who might have turned out better if they'd had a knot jerked in their asses when they were kids. But I digress. As it relates to the story at hand, I really can't help but think that someone just has it out for the whole SoG "family". Granted what Will Hayden is accused of, if guilty, is reprehensible and deserves the full punishment of the law (and then some) but what these two were accused of sounds like nothing more than a child getting disciplined. Maybe I'm just becoming increasingly skeptical in my old age, but it sure seems that someone, somewhere, decided to put this family out of business and ruin them forever.11 points

When you have so much advertising crap on your web site it’s hard to find the information I clicked on it for, or if you are a news site and you think you are going to force me to watch a video advertisement… you are wrong, I’ll click back and head somewhere else. It’s your job to get advertisement dollars, but when you interrupt the flow; you are an idiot. That is all.5 points

Like Will said on the show, "No show is complete without a big explosion at the end" Congrats on the big finale!5 points

The reason this happened is because the guilty party was emboldened by the lack of punishment when he was caught doing the same thing only a year ago. By letting these feral creatures back into society without any punishment (probation is NOT punishment), they are actually encouraged by the liberal courts to assault and murder the innocent members of society. All perpetrators who commit unprovoked acts of violence towards innocent people should be put to death. Rape, murder, aggravated assault and armed robbery should all carry an automatic death sentence. Anyone who would commit such acts has no place in society, and doesn't deserve the opportunity for redemption, and surely doesn't deserve freedom. They deserve to die. Painfully. Seems like it is getting better. And I agree with Frankmako completely I hope the gougers have to eat it and choke on it when they do. I wonder if these gun shops that gouge realize that they loose business because of this. Case in point, a few weeks ago the wife and I were on a little road trip and stopped in at a well known gun shop that I won't say the name of but it is in Benton, Tennessee. I was just planning on doing a little browsing, checking to see if they did have .22 ammo in stock, and picking up a holster for a gun that I had just acquired. Well they did have some .22 in stock 525 (I think) boxes of Remington Thunderbolt, which was priced at $70 or $75 a box, can't remember exactly. In protest refused to buy the holster that I was going after. And, because I'm stubborn I'll probably never cross their threshold again.3 points

My old Mitsubishi DLP television finally bit the dust, so I was forced to find a replacement. I was looking at the new fangled 4K sets, but I kept reading reviews that there was very little content for 4K at the moment. I finally decided on a 65inch Samsung LED Smart 3D HDTV. All I can say is wow. This thing is 65 inches of 240Hz, 960CMR, Quad Core Processing happiness. I didn't think that I would notice much difference from the old DLP, but boy was I wrong. I watched "Lone Survivor" again and it felt like I was on that mountaintop with those amazing warriors. The picture was so lifelike that it was almost spooky. I realize that no one needs everything that this television offers, but it's sure amazing to have it at my disposal. I can only imagine what the 4K experience must be like. Anyone else have similar experiences?2 points

I usually go to bed about 1:00 AM and get up about 9:00. Everyone in my neighborhood seems to want to mow the grass at 7:00 AM. We need some kind of noise ban from 8:00 PM until 9:00 AM. No two people keep the same hours and he probably has no idea it is bothering you. People just do not think anymore.2 points

I will occasionally surrender and take about 1/2 of a teaspoon of Claritin for children. For me the antihistamines are worse than the cause. Back in the 70's I used to pay to feel the way the antihistamines make me feel.2 points

i hope the flea market guy has to eat the ammo. the ammo will make it back and with more stores not putting it out at the same time each week it give us normal guys a chance to buy some. the price will come down next because people are not going to spend money on high price ammo when they need to spend it on high price food. $30.00 for 325 rounds is just to high. i hope bud's eat it too. sportsman here is now putting the 22 ammo out at different times and days. now they don't have the monday morning long line of butt heads waiting at the front door at oping to get the ammo for resale.2 points

It's folks like this who cause me to mentally justify unthinkable things. Most the time I respect the laws which make society civil; other times I wish society would let folks like me off the chain for a few days to take care of human garbage who prey on the weak without remorse. They need a dose of their own medicine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Btw. Your age is showing when you make a statement like that. Instead of saying "going to the station to fill up my car, vehicle, etc" you made sure to make mention of a 67 Mustang. Thats a mark of someone immature looking for attention. If thats the case, strapping on a knife will get you the attention you seek from both sides of the law. Make sure you can back it up, both by knowing the legalities of carrying a blade when your speaking to the law, and how to use it if you get confronted by someone who has hurting you on their mind. Otherwise it will only serve to bring you much grief and woe.2 points

I bought a Sony 55" HDTV about 4 months ago and it's just like you said. It's like sitting in the same room or right beside the actors. It really is spooky LOL. My best friend came over the day after we got it and we watched World War Z on it. Neither one of us could believe it. The van scene with Brad Pitt and his family had us shaking our heads! It took some getting used to but we don't notice it so much now that we are used to it. Even shows like NCIS or Criminal Minds are that way. The street scenes were just crazy at first. Congrats on the new TV!!!1 point

Last belt whoopin I got, about 5 licks into it my Mom came around the corner and yelled, " Not him! His brother! " I seem to remember one extra before he realized he had the wrong son lmao. He got messages via phone calls while he was on the road when we misbehaved. .He never forgot on his way home either. Trust me, I waited for years for that one time he'd forget, I'm still waiting haha1 point

Hoselton Ventures is a pretty neat store to visit, with a pistol range if you're feeling that way inclined. London's bar for the best lunchtime burgers around. Celtic Cup cafe if you want a great cuppa joe & homemade cakes & scones in a really nice atmosphere. There are some really nice trails to walk around Tim's Ford state park, from a swift half mile to a full 15 miler. The woods are stunning at this time of year too. The drive in cinema's a good way to kill a few night hours.1 point

I'd focus more on school than what knife to carry. This statement about made my head explode. And you're 17. Any kind of knife fight will get you cut. Now you have a very inexperienced person with a knife. You'll probably be killed or at least severely injured. And another thing, you're 17. 17 year olds don't make good decisions without proper training. Get into an altercation, pull your knife, things escalate very fast. Just a bad idea. Focus on your education, get a pocket knife and don't put yourself in dangerous situations.1 point

That's what I was thinking. I never really thought she was one of the hot chick's of the gun industry anyway. But given everything that's going on, stress probably wouldn't make her hotter, and no makeup is definitely going to look unlike the TV version.1 point

nice looking parts gun. i did one last year from parts that i had left over from several builds and from parts that i got over the years. well, it has turned out to be one of my best rifle that i have made. it rides on the floor board in the truck, get kicked around, shot a lots, clean very little, about the only thing that get oil is the 'bcg". but it keep on shooting.1 point

I wouldn't jump to say that she does meth. Come on. A little face acne and pale skin and we compare her to the "faces of meth" ad. Another thing that can make you look that way.... stress. And I'm sure she is under a lot of it lately.1 point

I got whippings as a child and possibly a bruise or two but made me a better person I think. I was not whipped as abuse. I was whipped because I was bad and deserved it knowing what I was going to do may earn me one I did it anyway. That is what is wrong with children today and I think in many cases why kids shoot kids today instead of going to blows with fists to settle a dispute. Bloody nose or black eye was a badge or courage when I was growing up and in most cases after it was over we were friends.........jmho1 point

Here's a very easy and biblical solution. Since you have an idea of her basic needs, buy it and leave it on the porch when no is looking or have it delivered using the same address for the "sent from" pretty cheap using priority mail from the good old USPS. Matthew 6.3 / 6.4 "don't let your left hand...and, give in secret.."1 point

Yep. It sucks. It was extra effort just sighting in a red dot. I shot Willis's gun. He has since added a geissele trigger pack, and gave it rave reviews. i haven't yanked it myself, but am real familiar with Geissele's work. FWIW, I don't think the heavy trigger is a result of poor engineering. I think it was done with a "New York" trigger mentality. Anyway, the Geissele fixes it.1 point

Absolutely Right. According to our friends at the BATFE...this a perfectly legal accessory to your pistol. It is an Arm Brace. How you hold it is a matter of personal choice, i.e. as an over the wrist unit, tucked into your arm-elbow, or higher in that area. Which seems to be how most people prefer to utilize the rigid semi-structure of the Arm Brace.1 point
