  1. I have been wanting to do this for a while now and finally received most of the Parts for my Mini Draco today First I want to say I still have not received My side folding Adapter from ACE Therefore I must give a Huge thank you to " Dolomite_Supafly " He sent me a pignose adapter to use till ACE decides I am important enough to receive my Side folding mechanism. Without him I would not have be able to complete this at all I started off with a Mini draco purchased from JGsales which happened to come with a free drum :D Today Most of My parts arrived I plan on doing a sidefolding Pistol brace with the SB15 rather than the sb47 pistol grip mounted, My main reasoning behind this Is I want to be able to fold the Pistol and fit it into a backpack or satchel , The Mini draco is very small and perfect for this so adding anything other than a sidefolder really wasn't an Option for this need, I am currently using The pignose adapter till the folding mechanism arrives. Since the pig nose and folding adapter will use the same holes to mount , I used the Pignose to mark the rear plate on the mini Then I drilled the holes to match the Bolts "I used 8/32 drill and tap and allen head bolts" After completing that I then moved onto the handgaurd As most of you know , as far as options go for the handgaurds on a mini draco there simply are only 2 at the moment The Hotdog bun that it comes with which is just putrid looking to me and the Cheese grater that Midwest industries released The Midwest industries mount is simply to small in My opinion and I wanted the option to remove or add rails if need I chose the Strike Industries Trax-1 Keymod Rail for these reasons However the Trax-1 isnt designed to be mounted on a mini draco so I had to chop the barrel clamp Used to mount the Bottom rail and, notch the top of the rail to fit around the front sight Post I also installed Parrabellum AKARS Dustcover Rail mount Holosun Technologies Mini Reddot optic "hearing great things about this optic cant wait to test it out" Charging handle grip Magpul Pistol grip and AFG Below is what she looks Like now I havent had the chance to shoot it yet and may wait for my 4 pc Bulgarian Flash Hider and folder before doing so , Guess it depends how long It will take to arrive. I am extremely happy with this little weapon and will Update with new Pics when the Flash Hider and sider folder arrive Thanks again Dolomite ...Your a life saver! Updated Pics with Side folder Installed Really love this setup. It now fits into any of my small backpack and even a couple of my Laptop cases Once the 4pc Bulgarian brake Arrives I will be finished Very Excited and Happy with this little pistol

  2. If the GFSZA could stand up to court review... yes anybody carrying a firearm in the vehicle including in some cases (long guns) permit holders would be in violation.   Yet another bad law...   Only good news...  local DA's can't charge you under the GFSZA... you'd have to piss off a federal prosecutor.

  7. Picked up a new G30S yesterday at Tennessee Gun Country. Glock Blue Label program gun. I am surprised how gentle the recoil is since it is so small. Tried the 36 but it was just too small. Fired 120 rounds of reloads with Magnus 230gr JHP and Magnus 215gr LSWC. Good loads I use in my G21. Happy with my new Glock.

  8. Im still on the fence, while i have had car issues( fixed for now) and now GF issues( in process), I don't know if i really can afford a $240 knife. (i already have about 10 gerber blades stashed in various places in the house, truck and atv.   Now if it holds its edge and dosent need sharpening all the time, I might reconsider. I always need a sharp knife.   I posted last right before i saw the deadline extended to October 15th, If i can make it work, i might still reconsider.

Can I ask WTF that has to do with TEETH?!?!?! I told her "NONE. You are an American citizen, and you're not giving up ANY of your rights, and no one's taking them away from you, either!"

  21.   So basically you think that feelings are perfectly ok to rule what we can and can not do. It's your opinion of how someone should act but that doesn't mean it's intimidation. He's making a statement as he wasn't pointing the gun, wasn't making threats, or anything as such. Feelings do not matter no matter how much the liberals whine about it. You don't have the right to "feel" safe. What I find amazing is that you are talking about intimidation, but you've publicly stated that "I want to beat the crap out of this guy" and that "he needs to have his ass curb stomped." So your principles are to beat someone up or hope that someone else beats up someone who has done nothing legally wrong? Yeah, those are great principles to have.

  25. My principles? You have no idea what those are. I absolutely believe in this douchebag's right to be armed as well as his right to free speech. There is no law against him walking with an unloaded rifle and body armor only feet from a school full of children. There's also no law against dressing up in a barely there speedo, a light coat of oil and a sign that says "Free Candy", and hang out right in front of an elementary school. I believe that the first amendment guarantees that. But if it's the school I drop my kid off at, I'm gonna bounce that dudes head off the pavement while I wait for the cops to get there. I believe that any man has the right to speak freely, to the point that I believe the 1st amendment protects the speech of any man to call my wife vulgar names. Doesn't mean I won't knock that person's teeth down their throat. This guy has taken what is legal to do, and he is using it as a tool of intimidation on innocent kids and parents. I don't need the Constitution or a bunch of laws to tell me what is right and wrong. I know what that is. When a grown man intimidates innocent women and children he needs to have his ass curb stomped. Those are my principles, sir. I mean exactly what I say here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If I sell a few down the road to pay my bills, that'd be between me and the buyer.   I think regular, serious shooters will take advantage of the supply and pricing currently available. I hope so.   Buy it Cheap and Stack it Deep...or don't fuss later... :2cents:

  30. there is nothing wrong with collecting things and history is important.  SOME people who are deep into nazi stuff are disturbed individuals.  Some people who collect beanie babies are also unstable --- there is no correlation on the mental state of the individual and the items collected.    That said, some collectible items are just plain embarrassing outside of family and friends.  I inherited a KKK knife, for example.  Its a pocket knife with handles that has a guy in the KKK sheets/hood outfit and some KKK logo or something right on it.  Again, its embarrassing and disgusting but its also collectible.   It does not make me a racist or KKK supporter or anything else.  Its just metal and plastic, really, that happens to tie into our checkered and unpleasant history.    History, that if forgotten, could all to well repeat...  a greedy country expanding unchecked while no one wants to get involved...  sounds familiar somehow.

  31. If it's a public university, let them try.  TCA 39-17-1314a (state preemption) prohibits them from attempting to regulate among other things the possession, storage and transportation for firearms unless otherwise provided for by state law...  Since there is no law granting colleges and universities the ability to regulate firearms, it would seem to me they can't legally.    More importantly, it would be a PR nightmare for them, it would inflame gun rights activists and groups... and would give conservative Republicans a great liberal target...  The BoR is already fighting a campaign against the campus carry law...  expelling a model student and citizen for keeping a legally owned firearm in the vehicle...  just might be the straw that broke the camels back...   I just don't see them taking the bait.

  33. DA’s don’t look at any of that non-sense unless you shoot and innocent person or bystander and they are looking at other criminal charges. They don’t care what gun, or ammo you used or when, where or if you qualified or even have an HCP. They need to answer the question of whether or not you were justified. Now, all kinds of ridiculous questions can be raised in a civil action. But a lawyer asking stupid questions doesn’t make them an issue. If people worried half as much about how they drive their cars as they do gun issues; the road would be a much better place. Much more likely to find yourself in a civil or criminal action about how you drive than how you handle a gun. Don’t use your sights, and try point instinct shooting the next time you are at the range; it may save your life.

Glad to see ya surface, Ben, was afraid maybe getting that barrel through customs had landed you and Ellie under the jail, I mean gaol! ;)   We all had 'bout as good a time as you both did, always a treat seeing anyone get to shoot anything they've never been able to before, but especially for you folks, who don't even ever have the option period. Your looks of amazement at the show and grins at the range were priceless. Ellie was somewhat of a surprise, took to all of them like a duck to water, not the least recoil sensitive, an Annie Oakley trapped in the wrong country. :)   Yep, you got the names right, and the guns, 'cept that big heater was Garufa's .44 magnum, the Dirty Harry heater.   By all means, please post more pics or at least email them to me and I'll put 'em up. 36. jay and all....   I just cant help myself about this...   I think it is obscene and completely unamerican to believe that you have to apologize for events, people, ideals, ect that some faceless, overbearing, damnable, self-appointed "they" deem to be "off limits"... When you do that; you acquiesce to the idea that your "polititically correct overseers" can determine what is "off limits" and what is "acceptable for discussion"....   That's giving up a helluva lot of ground, and effectively neutering our precious First Amendment....   If you believe in free speech, the "arena of ideas", the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the First Amendment; you cannot give up this ground...   I well remember several years ago in Minnesota or Wisconsin (...i believe...) that either a local or a Federal attorney wanted to sensor the speech of several Aryan Nation or Neo Nazi folks over things printed and spoken in the public square during their trial and incarceration... A Federal Judge ruled that these folks could, in fact, say whatever they wanted to say, no matter how heinous to some hearers... She said, in effect, that no one has a right "not to be offended" by the speech of others....   There was another ruling here just the other day in which a Federal Judge said that "...the speech that needs to be protected the most is, in fact, the most controversial, heinous, offensive, and troublesome speech..."...  I think he is exactly right...There are no places in the public forum where the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are suspended; in spite of the various attempts of schools, universities, self appointed watchers and overseers, and quite a few politicians do just the opposite....   Your fathers and grandfathers fought in World War II against nazi (...and japanese...) political philosophies, principles and their ensuing atrocities... They discussed them freely and at length before and during the war...There were several veterans of World War I and the isolationist Republicans who thought that we should mind our own business and stay out of that war...   You can rest assured that nazi goals, philosophy, and principles were discussed at length in those days before the decision was made to go to war; just as it should be...   Fast forward sixty or so years and take a look at the landscape now....The apostate jewish community and the self-appointed watchers of what is "good and right" that inhabit academia, print media, visual media, special interest groups, and politics have done a pretty good job of controlling the playing field by demanding that certain things be "off limits" and not be discussed; and what we are discussing now is a great example of that...   I say that nothing should be off limits nor apologized for ahead of the discussion... As the great Charles Barkley said just the other day:..."there are no words I don't use..."  He is exactly right... I would go farther and say:..."there are no thoughts i dont think or discuss as I choose"...   Don't acquiesce to the idea that you have to apologize for things you didn't do, nor feel the need to add disclaimers that denote disapproval when discussing things that these self-appointed watchers deem to be improper or off limits...   I say; "...what if I (...or you, or anybody else, for that matter...), in fact, do believe in the principles and goals of the nazi (...or any other...) philosophy (...Henry Ford did...)...  That is a right you have here in the good ole USA...You can, in fact, hold those beliefs and not be afraid to espouse them...   That is exactly what the "arena of ideas" and free discussion in the public square is about... That is exactly what the First Amendment was designed to do -- to provide for free and open discussion of revellant issues....  Folks can discuss the issues, and then make an informed decision of what they believe; instead of being told by a bunch of dammed over-seers what they are to think... Those who demand that certain subjects be "off limits"are, in effect, attempting to squelch public discussion of ideas and are seeking to implant their autocratic set of ideals in their stead...   There are no "forbidden thoughts" here; in spite of attempts to ban the by the would be censors who have no notion of freedom and believe that they are, in fact, the smartest people in the room and that you should breathlessly bow down to their thoughts, musings, and pronouncements; and slavishly adhere to their particular brand of overbearing dogma...   I'll close this little epistle by paraphrasing the words of a forgotten (...to me, at least...) greek philosopher who said: "....It is the mark of education, intelligence, and adulthood to be able to consider a concept or idea without accepting it..."  Don't fall prey to the "apology in advance" ideas put up by those who would muzzle your speech...   I think i'll take a baby aspirin and take a little nap now....   leroy, the geezer who uses all words and considers all ideals and concepts no matter how heinous to some observers....

  37. Stumpy & Clod Stomper, deep down inside, something was telling me to just leave well enough alone. Or as my sweet little granny used to say. "Let a sleeping dog lie". She was a wise lady...born in the late 1800s, and I respected her advice. Likewise, I respect you guys advice, and have decided to just leave all of my 22 Hornets as they are. Clod Stomper, I'm glad you got your granddad's gun. I have my granddad's old J.C. Higgins Model 20, 12 gauge, pump gun in my closet. he was born in 1882 and taught me a lot about hunting, and life in general. Thank you guys for your good advice. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to respond...somehow, I lost the post.

  38. The left undermines our Second Amendment rights by using a lot of arguments about what could possibly potentially maybe perhaps result from carrying guns.  Their mentality is driven by an irrational fear of the gun itself.     That mentality is dangerous because it results in a persistent coordinated effort to intrusively regulate the way others live their lives - despite the responsibility, and God-given rights, of the people they seek to regulate.     I try to avoid judging open carriers on the basis of what could possibly potentially maybe perhaps result from the open carry of a handgun.  And I trust my fellow Tennessean to make choices - about his handgun, and about his life in general - that best suit his own circumstances.

  39. Nothing in federal law or even as far as I know in UPS Terms of Service forbids shipping gun parts as long as the part is not the firearm itself.   Bigger question is: why did you tell them what was in the package?   Also, being eBayer, you could have simply used UPS account to print label and drop it off, no interaction required beyond  a nod. If you haven't activated free UPS account yet, then use USPS from PayPal seller account, print label and drop off. It it'll fit in box, you don't need to interact with PO personnel at all. If it won't, you can just drop it at USPS counter without waiting in line.   If for some reason you don't know how to do any of that through eBay/PayPal, you can use USPS Click 'n Ship online from their site to pay an print a label, though it's not as cheap a rate or with as many class options as available through eBay seller account.   Short answer is: you'll get a doofus about half the time with interaction with any given UPS, FedEx, or USPS  humanoid behind a counter.   - OS

  40.   Reedus' big breakthrough was in Boondock Saints flicks, 'bout as violent gun flicks as any made.   Again, I always try to separate the art from the artist, otherwise one misses out on a lot of entertainment in life, but it's just especially blatantly ironic with these guys and gun issues. If they really were that "moral" about it, they'd sacrifice the bucks they make from what largely amounts to the glorification of their use, and often just for pure mayhem.   - OS

He even said the security team pointed their guns at him when he attempted to get up. I don't care who you are if you point a gun at me we are going to have HUGE issues. Good thing I didn't go to the MoH ceremonies because had someone pointed a gun at me it would have made national news.

  44.   Because Bush and Cheney pulled the wool over everyone's eyes, and if they couldn't do that they strong-armed them; and the kicker was they did both to Colin Powell, whose UN testimony tipped the balance on The Hill. His whole report was a shameful exercise in hurriedly-compiled and revised half truths at best and outright lies at worst. He at the least strongly suspected it was bogus at the time, knew it was afterwards, and has recanted it since;  and is the reason his political career ended.    - OS

  45.   Nope nope, that wont do at all. If you don't carry a Glock, and it has to be a .45acp, then your better off with a sharp stick. Now you can get away with carrying a 1911, of course a .45acp because 1911fakes in 9mm are illegal and Un-American. Use the 1911 to fight your way back to your Glock 21 in .45acp. If you pay attention to the movies you will learn that if you shoot someone with a 9mm or .380 they will laugh at you, but if you shoot them with a .45 it knocks them back 10 feet through a plate glass window onto the street.

  46. I think that puts me in this price range; http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/store/john-deerereg%3B-1%3A1-monster-treads-tractor-wagon   Another thing to take into consideration are parts & service support. Do some research on parts pricing and availability and see what others are saying about the model of tractor you're considering. There are some good used ones out there you just don't want to buy one with inherent problems.   I do a lot of research online about tractors but I just don't currently have the funds. Maybe one day i will.
