1. I just got off the phone with Pro Tech, The 1st knife we will be doing will be the LG101 It meets their production schedule better than all other models. I should have a solid price by the end of this week, and as soon as I know solid number I will post it on here, I do know that this knife customized as it will be will be cheaper than you could buy a regular model of it anywhere on the planet

 2. I feel compelled to add my two cents here. Some here may recall from previous discussions on the topic know I'm not particularly a fan of open carry, but for some to suggest that allowing people to do so without a carry permit will end up with people shooting people's poodles and have negligent discharges all over the place is simply absurd. These people likely own firearms anyhow, likely carry them illegally anyhow, and somehow - magically I suppose - these untrained people somehow manage to contain their small dog hatred and novice trigger fingers. If people want to OC, then that's their prerogative, even if I think it's a bad decision for most situations. But I'm a bit shocked at how quickly gun owners will turn to the very same arguments that anti-Second Amendment folks do.

Are you saying that you spend less because you have kids?
Ha, sorry, I misread your post. When I was single I usually got by on less than $3 a day in food. I had a rotating diet of hot dogs, Totinos pizzas and Dinty Moore over rice. One can of stew and a cup of rice kept me fed all day. Now, I ate like a bum because I needed the money for beer and rubbers. That bill was considerably higher than my groceries. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

 10. I took one of the TGO stickers I brought and put it on this tag. It almost lined up perfect but had to use some white paint on the very edge. I am not big on putting bumper stickers of any kind on my vehicles but putting them on a removable part isn't bad.

 11. Cut a lot of members from the roster lately. Tired of chasing crap in circles. Cut most all of my bolt rifles. Bought this Weatherby Threat Response .308 Win with Kryptek's Typhon finish. I call it a Japerby because technically speaking it ain't a Weatherby. It's a Japanese made Howa 1500 with Weatherby's name on it. Topped it with Nikon glass and it's doing very well so far in load development. This rifle will most likely live out it's entire life and never see any of those flithy copper condoms some folks shove down the bore. First time out with it and did a ladder test trying IMR3031 and Lee's 312-155-2R cast from air cooled WW's. Sized .311 lubed with Ben's Red. I managed to get one 3/4 inch/5 shot group with a total average group of right at 1.25" @ 50 yards. Not spectacular but that's only half the first ladder test. I figure it'll take me most of the summer to find "The Load" Dumped every shotgun I own with the exception on the one I had as a kid. Bought a Weatherby Threat Response PA-08 with Kryptek's Typhon finish. 3" 12g chrome lined barrel. Just picked up a 1oz slug mold and Lee's 00 buckshot mold too. Not a real Weatherby either. It's one of the really well built Turkish shotguns being imported. I guess it's a Turkeby. I ran a box and a half of cheap crap through it. Well..It's a pump shotgun with an 18" cylinder bore. It works. Not much else to say  I'm hoping to work up a slug load that'll get me minute of deer lung accuracy at 50 yards. Shouldn't need pinpoint accuracy with a 437g slug cast from dead soft lead. Last but not least; Rock River Arms 1/9 twist upper, Daniel Defense rear sight, Tn Arms Company polymer lower and Magpul furniture set in ...YEP!, You guessed it! Kryptek's Typhon finish. Haven't run the AR yet. Just finished it up this last week. Lemme say, this lower is pretty darn nice ya'll! It's a plastic lower, but they had the good sense to put brass thread inserts in the stock and grip. The lower did need a SMALL bit of tinkering. The upper lower fit was tight! That's good though. The detent passageways had some small burrs I had to use a dentist pick to clear. BUT, my local gunshop has them in stock for $50+tax+$10. NOT too shabby. The triad is assembled. ....now to find me a Pelican or SKB type case that'll hold all three and make me some stencils to paint the case with. I'm thinking later of getting one of the custom coating companies out there to do a G19 as well.

 13. I absolutely love me some cajun and creole food. So, I'm always on the lookout for some good jambalaya, etouffee, gumbo, and red beans & rice. I tried Razz'z in Smyrna this evening and all I can say is dayuuum! He's got this plate called the Tour of New Orleans that comes with Jambalya, Étouffée, and Gumbo with garlic bread. The jambalaya was spot-on. The étouffée was the best I ever put in my mouth. I think I make a mean pot of gumbo, but his puts mine to shame. How many places do you go nowadays where the owner/chef himself greets you at the door and says hi? Plus, he's a TGO forum member!

 22. To the OP... before we had kids, $250-$300/mo.  After kids.... I quit keeping track because I don't want to know.            Keep the bread in the fridge.  You'll get at least another week out of it.  If you find it on sale, buy a couple loaves and freeze them.          :stunned:            :panic:                  Wow.    My wife appears to collect coupons.  We have a large stack that she cuts out of various ads.  Periodically, I go through that stack and throw away the expired ones.  She may actually use more coupons than I think, but it's nothing like what your wife does.  That's seriously impressive.

 25.
What would change is that we would have even more ignorant people legally carrying guns and when they screw it would be their problem, but it will also cause us problems. I agree the training is not perfect, but I also have heard several people make comments after class like "eye opening experience," "had no idea," "didn't realize," etc. Stupid people will do stupid things, but a little education may occasionally do a completely ignorant yet reasonably intelligent person some good.
We could apply that to gun ownership in general. Why not? Stupid gun owners are making us look bad all the time. Why not make people take a class and apply for a license to own a gun? Same logic applies. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

 27. back 18 years ago when I moved here I was trying to make a decision on whether to get a house phone or a cell phone. I was only going to get one or the other. Well I was on my way to sore to get some groceries and truck broke down. I had to walk about 3  miles to a pay phone to call a friend. That was the deciding factor. I can make calls from a cell phone from home but can't call for help when broke down on the side of the road and get help with home phone. So I have one phone and seldom if ever get a spam call. Wrong number about 1 time every couple months. Will never have another home phone...............jmho

 34.     My wife likes to say "This meal cost $2.35 (or other ridiculously low $ amount)  for all of us. We have leftovers for tomorrow, as well.". That makes her day. She is scientific with it, as well. Keeps a purchase and price log on her iPad per product. Scans it into the app when she is putting away groceries and the corresponding $ per product. She'll have a receipt that is longer than I am tall (6'6") and have a total cost of about $30. Amazing.

 38. Several years back my wife became unemployed. She decided since she was not earning, she would find ways to reduce our expenses. One of those ways was to attend a "Time to Save" coupon course. This was probably 6 years ago. She has it to a science now and will leave places like CVS with a bill of $0 and a coupon for x amount for the next time she visits. She's good.

 39. I try to rotate mine somewhat in what goes to the range. Even with that though I have guns I haven't shot in months, years or even ever. I'll hang onto them though, in some cases I don't know what I was thinking when I bought them, but I'm hoping that by them sticking around they'll jog the memory. its worth a shot anyway. Yeah of everything I've got there are maybe a handful that would really really hurt to lose and a few of those would come live with me under a bridge in a van down by the river before I'd let them go.

 40. I have my go-to guns as well. You know, the ones you'd reach for in a pinch, because they never let me down. They are my favorites and get the most use. That being said, I have a lot more benchwarmers that I only take out when I'm in the mood. I like them too, but they'd be the first ones to go, if times got hard. Until then, I like the idea of holding onto them better than I like the idea of having the money they might be worth. Besides,if I had the money instead of the guns I'd probably just waste it on dumb stuff like bullets for my better guns. LOL

 41.
I don't know. I don't hear about gangsters and thugs having too many ADs and they carry all the time, often with poor, incorrect fitting or no holste at all. If they can do it, I'm willing to bet most anyone with the desire and ability to carry a gun openly will be fine, and again it would seem statistics would back this up as we're not talking about anything new. Hope it all goes through.
Yeah, we can anecdotally trade stories about untrained carriers having NDs and such, but we could also tell stories of police officers and highly trained military personnel having NDs. I have some stories. Many folks here have some too. We chalk those stories up to stupid people existing in all walks of life. Stupid people will carry guns too. Funny, the same reasons gun owners take issue with constitutional carry are the same reasons anti-gunners don't want folks to have guns in the first place. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
