2. I was going to a Mom and Pop restaurant for many years and it was never posted. Then all at once I go there and it is posted. I spoke to the manager and he said that a few of his customers were complaining about seeing customers with guns and it was alarming to them because of their children. I said well I have been eating here for about 10 years and no one has ever seen my gun. He asked me what he could do to keep his business and not lose any customers so I offered him and option. I recommended posting his business as a Concealed Carry only restaurant and see how well that works. Next time I went there the sign read Concealed Carry Only. The place was packed with customers no one knew who was armed and who was not. The manager stopped by my table just after the waitress put my ticket on my table and he picked it up and thanked me as he has been seeing as increase in his business since re-posting and he liked my idea. I think if managers are willing to listen to other alternatives than just posting No Guns it can help both the HCP people and the businesses...........jmho

 3.
Ivan Lopez. Deployed to Iraq in '11, no physical wounds. Married, "wife doesn't speak English very well", a kid or three, hadn't been in town very long came from another post. Was under diagnosis process for mental probs, had a script for something in meantime. Used a "Smith and Wesson .45 semi-auto". - OS
Deployed for four months during drawdown and likely never heard gunfire that wasnt on a range. I'm tired of the press jumping on the PTSD thing. It's bullcrap. It assumes no one was an unstable nutbag before they joined the military. Having seen a person kill themselves after being in the Army for less than a week, I'm gonna assume law of averages when you have an organization that has employed millions and millions of Americans in the past decade and a half. Gonna be a few looneys in the bunch. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

 4. Well i've decided not to glue myself to the news right now while they are in hyper-speculation mode, i'll wait a while until they get a few facts and stay away from the major liberal opinion channels like BSNBC and CNN ect. They did announce that BoBo the clown was going to make a statement, which I will not watch because of the high chance that he will politically exploit this incident. Like it happened an hour ago and he can't wait to get in front of the camera as if he has something important to add. I'll feel sad for the families for anyone that may have been killed in this incident but i've learned over the years that I wont know what really happened for a couple of days and I still can't trust most everything the major media outlets reports even then.

 5. Rather early to assume this is either a terrorist and/or Muslim related event isn't it?   I mean it may be both but could be neither...I guess we'll find out as details start to come out.

 6. #2 flopped today. 10 inch beard and 1 inch spurs. He didn't gobble until I was 50 or so yards from him. I was walking slowly through the woods calling on and off. He was on top of me before I knew it. Sat down by a tree and didn't even have time to put my face mask on. I just lowered my hat to cover my face. Once he started gobbling he came over the hill and I shot him around 25 yards.

 10. If I'm reasonably well dressed and out eating I've started politely asking managers at places that are currently posted if they would like to change their mind to win a customer and get added to the "posted!" app as a non-posted alternative. I've had one business owner get angry b/c someone else had apparently stickered his business without asking him and one manager that removed the gunbuster while I stood there.(and it has stayed down) I've found that if they see the app and realize how easy it is for me to find a gun friendly alternative on the handy map and dine elsewhere(across the parking lot in some cases) that all of a sudden they don't so much like being on the list of restaurants I won't patronize. I've also talked to several that won't budge but I'm always very respectful of their opinions and thank them for taking the time to speak to a potential customer.

 11. I love their motto: "Eat in Peace."    Because if they don't post, we'll come in like Yosemite Sam and blast the place up, just as has happened, what, zero times now?

 12. With 9mm it's really not so much crimping. You have to slightly bell the mouth of the case to set the bullet in. Then your seating die needs to be set so thet it seats the bullet and remove that slight bell. The 9mm round is a slightly tapered round and not a straight wall round like a .38.

 13. Not bad for $38.50. Price on the Gold Bullets was $11.27 That's .05 per round. I was never a fan of the old GB's and I'm hoping they really are "New and improved. My local WM has removed the 3 box limit on everything but .22. The girl behind the counter tells me the hoarders and re-sellers are becoming less.

 14. Everyone's mileage may vary, but I am totally impressed with Beretta USA service. I purchased a nearly new Nano from a fellow TGO member and the pistol began to misfire frequently with every kind of ammo in my bag. I called Beretta on Mar 24 and immediately was provided an RMA with UPS pick-up notice. I packaged the pistol and waited for UPS to arrive next day with prepaid waybill. Poof - pistol is in the air to Beretta. This morming, received an email from Beretta with tracker. Tech notes indicate there was a sticky grease-like substance in firing pin channel obstructing pin travel. They disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and test fired. Denting cartridge now makes it go bang. No cost for service. Pistol will arrive tomorrow. Man, that's impressive. Glad to welcome Beretta to Tennessee.

 17. Congrats again! I had a crazy wonderful hunt this morning, birds everywhere and lots of gobbling, but I couldn't get one in front of the gun. Good news is, they were fired up and it kept my heart racing for a few hours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

 18. I had a swarm come here a couple of years ago. Found a local beekeeper who was about a mile away who came and got them for free and then gave me a quart of honey! Here are a few pics of him getting the bees without a protective suit and he never got stung. I even ventured pretty close to get the pictures without getting stung!

 23.   Didn't mean for it to sound like we were bullying you into it man, we just all voiced our opinions which were all consensus in that quad rails are not only a thing of the past but in that we've been in your shoes. Know that none of us would want to push you into something you yourself aren't willing to do, in the end this is YOUR build, we'll just say "told ya so" when there's something you don't like. ;)   Though for the record, that is the rail I'll be using when I get my DI gun done.   I like the KAC sights pretty good in terms of quality but after finally getting my hands on em, just not that big on them. I LOVE the Troy di-opter series paired with the HK style front but again, MY personal preference.

 28.   At the time I posted that, I didn't realize you didn't have to use the tubes that come with the gadget.   Now that I've done more research, I see that you can take the yellow or green pickup tips off of the Dillon tubes and it will load directly into them. That's pretty cool!!

 29. I think the best argument to a business owner is the folllowing: Posting a "no guns" sign does nothing to dissaude the criminal element, and in fact coupd serve to encourage that element. Additonally it is negative message to lawful firearms owner and HCP carriers. Not posting provides the exact same relief against the criminal element and doesn't discriminate against lawful gun owners and encourages a wider customer base. Tell me one person who chooses to only eat/shop somewhere ONLY if there is a posted sign? Now tell me how many gunowners will refuse to do business with a posted place? And lastly, there is no legal protection to the business for posting a sign vs not posting. Not posting - its the smart business decision

 35.   I like folders but there are just some uses where I trust a fixed blade more.  I guess that comes from, as a teenager, having one of my razor-sharp pocket knives close up on me while using it.  I don't think a person is meant to see their own knuckle bone.   I might not even 'carry' the longer, fixed blade on me all the time.  Sometimes but not all the time.  The ability to keep one or two in my vehicles at all times without worrying about legal trouble would be nice.

 41. I saw an interview of this guy on the news the other day. He said his lawyer at one point leaned over to him and said, "Clearly, you are the most knowledgeable person regarding guns in the courtroom." One of the jurors admitted she had no idea what a muzzle loader was. I think he said the judge wasn't sure either. How can clueless people be the deciders of your fate? What happened to a jury of your peers? Could you even find "peers" in DC?

 43. Reason number 2000 i'll will not visit that city, wont spend one dime there to support their economy. Pretty much the same reason I wouldn't have visited Paris during the Nazi occupation. If we ever elect a halfway decent real leader and the voters of DC kick out all the traitors to America, restore freedom like the founding fathers intended, then maybe i'll go. But as for right now, no way in hell will I step over the DC boundry.

 45. For what it's worth, I bought Glocks from dealers that were LE trade ins. They came as pistols with one mag in a padded envelope. There were tons of police trades that didn't have boxes with them. People move. People put stuff in the attic.   Trade based on the character of the man you're dealing with, not his lack of factory boxes.

 48. Because, despite their lack of aesthetic appeal, they work. They work when all other fail. All the older, classier, sexier designs need a trained skilled hand to get them to run like a Glock, and even then they will fail before the fugly plastic turd. A Glock is a framing hammer. We don't brag about or sit and admire a good framing hammer. We just use them and they don't fail. When I go to the range to have fun, I'll bring a Blackhawk. It's gorgeous and I love to look at her. When I get outta bed in the morning and tighten the belt around my britches, there's a Glock 19 on the right side. Later that day when I've been wallerin' on the ground and climbin around cars, I never give the Tupperware a thought. This is the definition of "Glock Perfection". It's the perfected TOOL and it works like no other.
