Keeps sending suggestive pictures of himself dressed as a German beer maiden to my email account, asking if it's a fair trade for a TGO decal. The worse part is... he never tells me where to mail the decal.3 points

If Glocks are going for 10k I am going to retire at the age of 27.3 points

Many of them modified to be illegal... The horror. I also want to find someone to pay me $10k for my Glock.3 points

I can give you that one, but I am more of a results oriented person. Judging by that standard, Bush and Obama are both equal disasters for the liberty and freedom of the American people.3 points

Fantastic day today!!! How many birds can a gunsmith, gun builder and 13 year old kill? 28 evidently. LOL2 points

If the hammer falls on my insurance (it hasn't yet but probably will in the fall) I'll just pay the penalty and sign up if or when I get really sick....pre-existing conditions won't matter any more....right?2 points

I want to wish everyone on TGO a happy and prosperous NEW YEAR. My plans are same as have been last many years. Stay home, watch TV in Bedroom till I fall a sleep. I learned many years ago that the new year still comes if your awake of a sleep so I quit waiting up for it to happen............ :up:2 points

My wife has informed me we will be having an exciting evening at church.2 points

Well, Happy New Year to you as well. I'm going to hunt in the morning, maybe all day if I don't get something early. If I do get one early, I may go do some shooting if I can find a place open. Or I may go home, eat a cheeseburger, and call it a day :up:2 points

Not into the whole downtown scene so the wife and I are Stargazing at Dyer Observatory followed by a midnight hike at Radnor Lake. Simple but fun.2 points
How is WalMart "corrupt" for trying to enforce some sanity in ammo purchasing? You don't have to be a rocket scientest to know what they are trying to accomplish with the limits. Next time you want to skirt the intent then don't show up as a happy throng all wanting their limit. After the past year with people's bitching, complaining to management or corporate, employee shenanigans, playing the "push the limit" game, and inconsistent policies from store to store, I would not be surpirsed if WM just said to hell with it all. No more ammo or gun sales.
Dude, did you even read my post and reply or just the title? I'm guessing you just read the title and replied..... What frustrated me was that he knowingly sold ammo to a family, 3 per customer... Ok... That's their policy... 3 per customer... Not 3 per family or. Group. That's some made up and unpublished policy. So my wife and I were deemed a group and not sold the 3 per customer. That clerk knew damned well that that Gomer and his 2 sons were related and sold them the published policy 3 box max, but would not sell my wife her 3 boxes.. Pretty simple. Would you like to get pulled over for driving a certain colored vehicle and cited for it? That's a made up and unsubstantiated law or policy... Double standards is corruption... That's hat frustrated me. We had a great Xmas and this is all history.... But it did frustrate me at the time.2 points

Charities are fine and all. Hard to argue with the results St Jude's produces, but I prefer to do most of it myself. Is not hard to find someone who needs help. I have three rules I lay down before I help someone in need. One, don't talk about it. Two, when you get on your feet, go help someone else. Three, DO NOT TALK ABOUT IT. Be sure and read the 6th chapter of the book of Matthew. There's some good guidelines on the subject there. Its a good practice even if you don't believe in God.2 points

I send a check every month to the Sumner County Humane Society or just go buy several big bags of dog food and deliver it their door. I try to buy puppy food, adult dog food and adult cat food each month. I don't think the employees eat the food so I feel it goes to the animals. They may take some home for personal animals but if they are going to steal they will steal..........jmho2 points

Welcome to the korengal (yes, that's me, I was taking selfies because I thought the fog was cool, :) hah Back on topic. If anyone wants to see a clip taken from our 1st platoon guys who had the AO of the helo crash I can post it so you can get a small glimpse of what the village looked like. But be for warned.... I've been to 3 RK shows in Lebanon that I thought were pretty good. Buuuut this time it wasn't an RK show, it was a "The Great American" promoted show and was the absolute worst gun show that I have ever been to... By far! The only reason I went was that my almost brother in law from Ireland had never been to a gun show and wanted to go while he was here so I obliged. It's one thing for it to be a bad show but they took my $16 at the door at 2:15 and then made an announcement at 3 telling everyone to get done and move on out because they had decided to go ahead and close. Piss poor promoters IMO and I'll never go to another of their events.1 point

my big saw is my husky 385 xp with a 36" bar, but most of the time it wears a 24". love cutting mostly for time in spent in the woods.1 point

I was lucky enough to pick up a used Galco Miami Classic for about $25 at a gun show - it looks cool and is very comfortable for me, but I rarely use it unless I'll be wearing a jacket over it the entire day.1 point

Staying at home, hanging out on TGO and may have a beer or two. No big deal to me...just another day, plus it's going to screw me up writing checks to pay my bills! Happy New Year to all my TGO Brothers and Sisters! Dave1 point

Dustbuster, I highly recommend reading it first to have a proper perspective of the story that Hollywood is trying to convey. It is a quick read and some of the authors internal dialog can't be replicated on film. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk1 point

One article I read said something like: Funny how these Global Warmists who set out to prove how bad fossil fuels are, went off on a fossil fueled expedition and now have to be rescued by a fossil fueled mission consisting of multiple ships and helicopters. Major fail.1 point

They are pretty cool. And were cheap at one time. Like you said, the de-cocker is iffy. I tested mine once on a loaded chamber. Yes, it did fire. Another thing that you probably already know, don't dry-fire it. The firing pins can be brittle.1 point

I have been metal detecting off and on for many years now and really enjoy it. I mostly look for C/W Relics but have found tons of other interesting items. The property that I deer hunt (180 acres) near Dover is the land that many Confederate Troops crossed as they escaped Fort Donelson. Rumor has it, that the Confederates fired at large trees on the property for target practice with their cannons. I have just poked around the property a bit and found a few little items. I'll get serious about when it warms up a little. Here in Clarksville, I found some eating utensils, buckles, buttons and bullets at Fort Defiance before it became City property. Those items now rest in the Clarksville Museum. Dvae1 point

Actually I'd forgotten that this had been signed into law... A person can no longer request and post the information he posted about me and my wife. The rest of you are safe from folks like him. :)1 point

I'm pretty sure we were both talking about the primary, where there is a choice. I couldn't name one off hand but I'd say there are at least a few democrats out there that would be more conservative than Lamar. In the general I would vote for Lamar IF he's there because I would be left with no choice. My hand quivers anytime I am forced to vote for someone so void of integrity.1 point
-
Lamar will win going away as usual. I'll vote against him in primary, and for him in the general. No other choice unless y'all think a Dem replacement will be better. - OS1 point
