Here are the facts as they were related to me...   The light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.  The tailgating woman was furious and honked her horn, screaming in frustration, as she missed her chance to get through the intersection, dropping her cell phone and makeup.  As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police station where she was searched fingerprinted, photographed, and placed in a holding cell.  After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.  He said, ''I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the 'What Would Jesus Do' bumper sticker, the 'Choose Life' license plate holder, the 'Follow Me to Sunday-School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk, so naturally...I assumed you had stolen the car.''

These GotYour6 commercials...they enrage me everytime one comes on.   Like these lefty, Hollywood types have ANY idea what it really means to "have someone's six" in combat (military, LE, or personal defense...it's all physical war on some level). Just because you can throw money at some program doesn't mean you have a f*cking clue what "having someone's back during SHTF" really means.   I don't know, I'm sure their cash does some good...but, GotYour6?  It pisses me off because it drips with arrogance and presumption.   Vaseline works better than mineral oil, but the best thing is just not to wash them in the first place. It is 100% about making people rich and not that much about those who were wounded anymore. I would like to hear of anyone who has been helped by them. I know I have contacted them on several occassions for different reasons and never once got a response.   I suspect this will be used as a political tool or as a means for someone to feel good about themselves while they line their pocket.   Follow the money, it will always lead you to the truth.

And that's what it basically is, pandering to illegals in hopes once they're legalized, they will vote for them in future elections - costing tax payers at the federal and local state level tons of money (welfare, social security, etc.). I heard on the radio it also exempts the illegals from Obamacare and gives employers an incentive to hire them over legal immigrants and Americas since they would not have to deal with the cost of Obamacare on the employers side as well. i ordered it from cmp,it took 65 day to get it after they recieved the order for it and 600 rounds of ammo.i ask for a low sn and original stock.rifle is a 43 springfield service grade made in 1943.i got lucky with it because it is one that was sent to the marines in GUAM. the sn is on a list of rifles shiped there. it also has the 0-66 on it showing it was reworked by the marines.it has all correct parts except the new var barrel installed by cmp.i also got a ww2 ammo can in with my order of ammo

I became a citizen after 5 years of being a resident through marriage and the green card process since my wife was a US Citizen.   I come from a large family and have 7 siblings. I petitioned for my mother and father to become green card residents after I became a Citizen and they have been residents since last year. Some of my brothers and sisters are legally here in the US and some still in Venezuela.   The ones that are here are trying through the already established channels to become residents, currently they hold visas through their employers. But they are LEGAL.   The ones that are still in Venezuela, are trying to find a legal way to come here. Coming here illegally has never been an option for them. And things in Venezuela no matter how hard you try to ignore the situation are pretty bad.   Anyone who considers breaking the law to enter a foreign country as an option no matter how dire their circumstances are should not be allowed a free pass for breaking those laws. That is not the type of citizen or resident we want here. They are the ones that are abusing the system and any new legislation to help them are just going to open new doors for them to keep abusing the system and keep adding to the already heavy burden we as taxpayers carry.   If you want to solve this problem amnesty is not the solution, it has always been part of the problem. The history of amnesty by the US towards illegal immigration has just encouraged people to keep coming illegally. I have met many who are here illegally and that is one common hope they have, kind of an expectation really, they believe they will be legalized some day. Don't do it now. Don't do it ever again and they will stop coming like that.   I hope you carefully measure your position on this immigration legislation because the repercussions of it will affect this country forever. Is it any more strange that having Hollywood stars like Stallone or Schwarzenegger and others like them who have made millions of $$$ of "action movies" that include them playing bad asses with guns come out against civilian gun ownership?   These hangers-on use military/firearm culture catch phrases because right now, it's "cool"...it's "appropriate" to give lip service to our military, etc...that will pass eventually (just like it was in bad taste to support the military during Vite Nam) and they'll move on to the latest cool phrase of the day.

This isn't about progressives, it's about statists.  Clearly, many times these two groups are one-in-the-same, but it's certainly not an absolute.  Both major parties are focused on using the power of the federal government to push their own agendas.  This is why I gave up on the Republican Party several years ago.

I travel the road every single day.  Sometimes by bike, sometimes by car.  Please, if you go, 1) Stay in your lane, 2) Use the pull offs, if someone is behind you and they were not a minute ago that means they are faster than you, using one of the 108 (really there are 108 of them) paved pull offs is the courteous thing to do.  3) Ride your own ride at a pace you are comfortable with, if your adrenaline is flowing you are pushing yourself and endangering everyone else on the road.
