  3.   If it helps even just a few of my friends on TGO find something they need at a reasonable price during these hard times I see nothing "nerdy" about it. . .perhaps Im not "nerdy" enough cause Im not really sure about the reference to someone posting "FIRST" on any forum...but I am truly saddened that my decision to create a thread advising of in stock 9mm ammunition has in some way offended you and I truly hope that we can still be friends. . .

  7. BS, in my opinion. They should have taken them to court in order to show fault and there should be a criminal trial for the cops that did this. Sorry, but under no circumstances ever, ever is what they did excusable. These cops have no business having a badge. But hey, at least they gots their money.

  8. If they can do it to them they can do it to us. (Limit buying) This is BS. DHS isn’t keeping us from getting ammo. Hoarders and those trying to make a profit off the panic buyers is why we don’t have a good supply of ammo.   If there was a shortage of resources (ammo) manufacturing would be steeping up to fill the demand. But they aren’t because they know it won’t last long enough to justify the cost.

  14.   Seeing a driver's license and having no reason to believe they are prohibited is enough. Ask them, "can you legally own firearms?".   Many people won't do a bill of sale or let you make a copy of their driver's license. Perfectly legal people, like many here.   Do what you like, but none of what you suggest is necessary to CYA.   - OS

  15. I'll agree it's annoying to say the least, but it's the nature of the times. If one of us makes it in under the wire, we're one more than we had. Just have to live with the way it is & keep both eyes , ears, & keyboard open. It is a pain in the butt. Fault lies in D.C.

  16. I don't see anything "bubba" about what the guy in the video did at all. It's not like he decreased their value or ruined them. He improved them and made them look really nice.   These aren't rare collector's pieces. They make nearly 40M of these things. What he did is no worse than hanging a vertical grip on an AR-15.

  17.   You're right, except it doesn't sound like there's a plan to enforce it. It's just a statement. May stop some liberal immigrants from landing in their town. That's not a bad thing.

  18. While I appreciate the point they are trying to make I don't agree with it.   Forcing someone to have a gun in the home is no different than forcing them to buy healtcare.

  22. It is a really bad idea. It only serves to embolden an idiot even more than carrying a firearm. It allows people to wrongfully intimidate or scare people. And finally I think anyone with a badge is impersonating LE.   I met a guy who had one. He said he was either going to wear it on his belt or around his neck. He said he would be able to flash his badge to prevent a crime. He also said when, not if, he had to shot someonoe he could wave his badge to responding LE so they won't shoot or arrest him. I never talked to or seen him again to see how well his plans worked out but I susoect they didn't.

  23. I made this holster at the request of another member on here and on another forum. He gave me a seed idea and I went from there. The pictures don't have the back part of the harness but I'll get those up later, Tell me what you think about this design. (Sorry if you haven't gotten it yet but I couldn't resist.) 27. Poor_Dog Makes no difference how you scored these, in the eyes of some of these guys, you are a Hoarder or a Reseller or you should be. Also since you didn't leave any for the next guy you should be very ashamed of yourself and feel very guilty every time you reload a round. :screwy: All kidding aside, there are a few people posting on the Ammo & Reloading forum that need to lighten up. It is what it is, and you can't change it by ranting on someone because he got lucky and bought a case of 9mm and a couple of bricks of 22s. Just my :2cents:

  39. I would like to volunteer for a news demo to show, given the will, how even a klutz like me could kill 50-100 defenseless sequestered children with just a .22 target pistol and buncha ten round mags.   'Course, all guns must be eventually banned, that's the real idea, and I guess such a demo would only support that.   - OS

  42. Thought I'd post back as it seemed Reloaders Bench got thrown under the bus on this thread. Maybe warranted, maybe not, to each his own on that.   However, I went to Reloaders Bench today to see if they had a replacement primer decapper pin for my Dillon, since I had no luck actually contacting anyone at Dillon. Larry, the older guy, dug around on his Dillon shelf and found a package of pins. He matched it up, screw it back together and handed it back to me.   I asked him what I owed...he said "Have a good day."   I don't think I'd get that across the street at Academy Sports, even if they carried Dillon. Nuff said.

  44. Any local PD will do it for free, have to have it with You in a case and notify front desk when You walk in.  All  FFL'S can do it for free also and most will if they are not busy only takes a few minutes. Ask for copy of returned report for Your records. If it is stolen database will notify Police and dispatch to pick up. It is better to find out now so You do not get charged for something later if You use it and it is run then and shows stolen and used in a homicide. Also a good Idea to run again a couple years later in case the person did not miss it for some time and turn it in then. You now have proof where it was not stolen when You received it if You kept report copy.  If stolen You may have a Civil Claim if You know the person You Bought it from.
