We've had more than enough in my opinion. As I've said many times I'm over this crap. And I don't care if it's "whining", I'm calling BS when I see it. We're too much a persecuted community already to be screwing each other. I'm as sick of seeing the jacked up prices as I am of being given economics reminders of the "free market".

i ordered it from cmp,it took 65 day to get it after they recieved the order for it and 600 rounds of ammo.i ask for a low sn and original stock.rifle is a 43 springfield service grade made in 1943.i got lucky with it because it is one that was sent to the marines in GUAM. the sn is on a list of rifles shiped there. it also has the 0-66 on it showing it was reworked by the marines.it has all correct parts except the new var barrel installed by cmp.i also got a ww2 ammo can in with my order of ammo

If you think someone is gouging then just shut your dam mouth. Post something negative in someone's ad and you will be punished. If you have nothing positive to say the shut your mouth. What is going to happen is the classifieds are going to go back to no one allowing to ask questions or leave comments. And that will impact everyone who wants to sell. As much as I do not like it either we cannot force anyone to sell something for less than they want to. Just like the seller can't force a buyer to spend more. I suspect there are going to be a lot of people gone by Monday.

  A valid point. What's more, I think that the best way to answer a sale post offering overpriced merchandise is to answer it with deafening silence. If I think something is priced stupid, ignoring it is the best way to get the point across. When an ad is posted for 3 days with tons of views but NO responses, the seller gets the idea pretty quickly. Ads that insult my intelligence aren't even worthy of a response in the first place.

I understand your point, and it does have merit, but when people snatch up every box from Walmart every time a truck comes in (while other people have to work) at normal prices and then jacks the price 3 or 4 times just ain't right in my book of "do unto others". And it never will.

I've only been willing to sell it to those who are in need, so I'd feel a bit guilty gouging them.

Cut up 2-3 dryer sheets into 1" squares and put it in with the media. Something else that seems to help as well is add about a tablespoon of liquid car wax. Some people use NuFinish or TurleWax.

The problem is the costs far exceed his salary. There is no way he is paying for the local and federal law enforcement to secure a vacation spot plus the cost of the secret service out of his own personal bank account. I know how much it costs to fuel a jet plus the related operating expenses. I know he has become a wealthy man since taking office, but I guarantee these related expenditures are not paid for from his personal funds.

Personally, the problem i have with it is how the "impartial" mass media slaughtered Bush every time he vacationed, yet not a peep otta them when Obama or his family, or all of them go rambling around the world. They'll even go a day or two apart, doubling the cost of travel. Yet praise will come gushing out of the media fountain owned by Obama.

I’m sure our AEGIS class ships are in the area and prepared to knock down whatever NK launches.   The threat of nuclear war is ridiculous. They may well try to launch a nuke, but we don’t need nukes to neutralize NK; and won’t use them.   The problem (and loss of American lives) will come if there is hand wringing on the part of Obama in the event of an act of war.   Have our bombers deliver a few MOAB’s to NK’s top leaders; and it’s over.  You would think after Korea, Vietnam, and Afghanistan our leaders would learn.  Use the technology we have developed and end these threats with extreme prejudice.

This is it..take it or no..I took banjo lessons one time.  the instructor said, time in practice equals quality sound out.  There is no substitute for practice. I brushed it off. Then I learned my lesson.  Let me give you an example.  I was taking banjo lessons.  I could play the guitar, but wanted the banjo bad.  I practiced about 1 to 2 hours 4 or 5 times a week after work (I was in my early 30's).  The teacher had a get together on friday nights for students. I went one night but only played the guitar because I was comfortable with it in bluegrass and knew a lot of songs, not so with the banjo.  I had been taking banjo lessons for 6 months.  This 17 year old kid sat in the back and picked around on his banjo.  He wouldn't play loud and I had trouble hearing him.  During a break, when everyone else was outside, the instructor told me to come play a few with this kid.....This kid tore it up!!!! My jaw hit the floor. We played about 8 or 9 songs......He had been playing 4 months to my 6 months banjo wise.  But, he practiced a minimum of 4 hours a day, 7 days a week. He practiced more each week than I did on 3 weeks. Lesson is....there is NO substitute for practice. According to Earl Scruggs, it takes 1000 SUCCESSFUL practice licks to get a banjo lick down pat muscle memory wise.  Same for a guitar. We often hear the pro's play licks that are awesome.  Pink Floyd "Comfortably Numb"  or Lynyrd Skynyd "Free Bird"....they have played those songs thousands of times. They don't even have to think anymore while playing them.....

That's exactly what I do. I move on. But I still think the people that do it are A.H's and the ones that pay it do nothing but contribute to the problem and the vicious cycle. Both groups hurt everyone.

And to think, I just sold a brick of .22LR to a customer of mine for $20, and about 250 rounds to a guy at work for $10.

Seems to come and go in waves here. It's been quiet for awhile but it seems that its back on again. Of course it also seems as though common sense comes and goes in waves here too, it seems many weren't buying a little while ago but now are again.

Something else. Do not add too much media. Add the cases to the tumbler and turn it on. Slowly add the media until the cases just begin to roll. Too much media shields the cases from each other. The cases themselves do a lot of cleaning as they rub against each other.

We're moving right south of there into Fairview.  Traffic on the west side of Nashville is fractional as compared to north, south or east.  Getting through Nashville itself is always a task, no matter the direction.   Fairview is ultracheap and about 15 minutes closer to Nashville than Dickson... A lot of farmland out in the area too, so you may want to spread your search out into that area + you'll be in Williamson county for the schools.

Yes. The case is not fully supported by the barrel. The smile area is in open air when charge goes off. So too much pressure causes that part of the case to bulge.

i shot it at the range today using 1945 dated ammo from canada.i think it will shot better than what i can get out of it at 100 yards.my eyes are not what they were afew years ago.

"Glock smile" you have to look at cases very close to make sure you dont load them, we have found a few it the cases we are reloading.

Personally I think it was pretty stupid to provoke NK by running our B2s there in the first place. Why start some crap in the region. I don't think NK had any doubt what we are capable of.   Don't be quick to judge that situation, Cav scout and I both spent a few years there and can say without question it would be the nastiest war in modern times.  We have anywhere between 25,000-30,000 US troops there at any given point, and the calculations were for approximately 75% of them to be dead after the first attack from the north.  DPRK has enough artillery to shoot it's like 4000 rounds minute for days straight and never run out... And that's all we know of, nor is it taking into consideration the use of chemicals which is a large portion of their stockpile.   They will not use nukes on the south because they need to capture the resources.  Those people have lived in absolute misery for decades, we simple do not have the stomach to deal with images like what happened in the first Korean war with melted machine gun barrels overlooking acres of rice patties with so many dead bodies you could walk across and never touch the mud one time.

If we think the line of demarcation is Democrat or Republican and not Ruling vs. Ruled, then we play the part of the fool.

This x1000. Let me preface this by saying I earned a masters degree in jazz studies from the university of new Orleans. I certainly don't know it all, but I think I have some good insight on this topic. I currently teach jazz guitar and bass lessons as well. The other side of learning to improise is transcription. Copy by ear off of recordings cool ideas from other soloists. Use your knowledge of scales to understand why the licks work, and then expand these ideas to be your own. (add notes, change rhythms, learn the lick in a new key, change the lick from minor to major, find new chords the lick works on). Play along tracks are great. I like to start students with one chord repeated for several measures -- it's the first step towards using lots of scales over lots of chords. iReal b is a great app for creating your own play alongs, although it is more geared toward jazz. You just type in the chords you want, and the app plays bass, piano, and drums in a style of rock, bossa, or swing( you can buy other styles). In summary 1) practice scales 2) transcribe and digest other instrumentalist's licks 3) play alongs (start simple, pick one chord to solo over). (step 3 should combine elements of 1 and 2)

Learning scales is your best way to begin improvising solos and such.

I agree that would be ideal, but as long as a small minority tries to make the majority conform to their wishes and beliefs by lawsuits, pubic forum, and calling that other side hate mongers, racists and biblethumpers, and going against the wishes of that majority; that's not a right. That's a choice. That's trying to push the belief of one onto another by brute force. That's a choice as well. Not a right to make me conform to your wishes.   And that's what we have now ongoing in this country in the form of defaming the beliefs of a larger group by a considerably smaller group. As in the atheist pushing to force the Christian belief out totally because it offends him. What about the offense to the Christian? The Christian's beliefs are his choice. Does he file suits against the athiest to stop his choice to not believe in a diety?   And I'll step on toes here I know, but here goes. Same can be said about the " dude with another dude" or woman with woman, the gay, lesbian and transgender. If you wanna indulge in that, go for it. But don't try to force it in my face by laws saying if I don't agree with you I'm guilty of a hate crime. If it's the choice you or anyone wants...it's that persons' choice to do so. But its within my choices to disagree with it.    And zort, this is not at all directed at you or to you. You just made a point that allowed me to go in this direction.

I would refrain from firing high velocity ammo in it, if I just had to shoot it, and would shoot only standard velocity target loads.

It sounds thoroughly unpleasant to shoot.  That and the ammo/brass availability would run me off.

I put alot of my survival data onto the wife's old kindle, it's much more efficient with battery life (think weeks not days) and leaves more room for stuff that needs the iphone on the iphone.
