3. From Stickman's (industry photographer) Facebook page... and 100% spot on...     Stop congratulating yourselves! With the recent announcement of democrats NOT pressing forward with another AWB, the firearm industry seems awash in praises and congratulations. To these people and industry experts, I can only say "STOP CONGRATULATING YOURSELVES"! The larger picture has been missed, and people are fat dumb and happy with having beaten the liberals. If you fall into that category, please stop. Seriously. If I told you I was going to beat you to death, would you not feel more than slightly offended? Would you not be upset with the threat, especially if I tried to carry it out? Would you feel it was suddenly ok if I only broke your nose, or fractured your eye socket? Would you be good with that? Would you congratulate yourself, and would your friends think it was awesome? Let us make no mistake that additional restrictions are about to be placed while people are dancing and congratulating themselves. The death of a thousand cuts is being carried out to the 2nd Amendment right in front of us, and the end is certainly near. The idea of ending personal sales without a background check is simply the first step in logging, tracking, and eventual restriction of firearms. Remember that each and every "background check" is done via computer and logged. If you are still smug in having "blocked the libs", your heart might be in the right place, but your head is not in the game. Stay safe, Stick Share it if you agree, and as always, civil comments are welcome.

 4. I know this is their tactic, but I always wondered how they'd sue when some grief stricken family member of a fallen Servicemember drives a dump truck through their picket line and turns them into greasy stains.

 5. I'm not buying ammo at the current ridiculous prices anymore than I'm paying $1200 for a DPMS AR-15 or paying $55 for a 10/22 mag. I feel like a cranky old man but I'm getting tired of this bull$hit.

 8. That crap isnt representitive of a race. That crap stems from an individual lack of responsibility. I wonder if our forefathers turn over in their graves everytime a white kid does something stupid? It's about the individual. Yeah, it seems that there are a lot of blacks doing stupid crap, but there are far more black people working their asses off and trying to be good citizens just like most of us on this forum. As for that guard, maybe I could feel bad for him if his videos showed something other than him freaking out and losing self control. I'm certain that he is not dealing with angels, but this guy goes from 0 to 100 in almost every case. He has no authority, yet he comes off just as verbally abusive and aggressive as the clowns that he is dealing with. I'd like to see him at least attempt to defuse a situation before going straight into his " I'll whoop a n#%^*{ ass routine. In my opinion he is as bad as the patrons of that dungeon that they call a mall. You would never catch me there. I've never been a mall cop, but I've have had a couple of jobs where I found myself in similar situations and the last thing that you want to do is make the situation worse by behaving in the same manner as the people that you should be controlling. Even when you have to kick ass, you can do it like a pro and without all off the mouth. My opinion and $5.00 gets you a venti frap.

 10. I think the demand on these retailers is drastically underrated. For a long time it was just people like us ordering a hammer here and a barrel there, but now it's order insanity. It's not stopping either. My last order from Midway took a while and it was tiny. I would not be to harsh with these stores right now there just overwhelmed. And just hiring some low end minimum wage workers to handle fire arm sales is probably a bad idea.

 13. I would say hold off on shooting until the craziness ends. The reason ammo is being sold at 300% markup on Armslist is because people are paying it, and that is the same reason ammo will remain out of stock. So long as people are willing to pay stupid prices, bubba will wait in line at Walmart so he can turn around and sell it to you. If people chilled the hell out for a second and just stopped paying stupid prices it would all go back to normal. Bubba would have to sell the ammo back at relatively normal prices because he can't have hundreds of dollars tied up in ammo.... smokes and Natty Lite ain't gonna buy themselves ya know.

 14. Hey, that design predates the shortages so it has to be worth 2x-3x as much now. Especially considering it is used to catch semi auto brass. I need to find a black pillow case and sell it as a "tactical" brass catcher. The word "tactical" adds 50% to the price these days.

 32. I'm not sure about other members, but I am getting tired of the prolonged poor customer service of many of the large online firearm related retailers. It was understandable for a period of time; however with unemployment being where it is....there's no excuse for not "staffing up" to meet increased demand. I ordered a ruger 22 from impact guns on Friday; and selected a local ffl through the checkout process. I received an email three days later that they needed my ffl or the order would not be processed (but not to respond to the email). So I tried over the next two days to call and send emails through their website; which stated it may take 7+ days to receive a response. I will not send any new business to this retailer; they should warn customers on the front end of their below par customer service. I've had similar experience with Buds

 33. I always do a lower 1/3 co-witness of my BUIS using any red-dot (Aimpoint, EOTech) and my rear sight is always in the up position. Anything out past 300-400 yards - - - I seem to revert to the irons. Maybe its because of the way I started...., shooting iron sights at the 600 yard line might just be in my shooting DNA.

 34.     I don't know.  Like I said, Amy WAS killed and it took all night and the next day before she turned.   Of course, it could have something to do with the level of exposure to the virus.  When Amy was killed, it didn't look like she had been around all that many walkers, etc. beforehand.  Shane, on the other hand, had been wading hip-deep in them a couple of times before he was killed.

 35.   I wouldn't outright lie, but some of the stuff he says is valid. You have no obligation to answer most questions that are usually asked at stops. As far as anyone showing up at my house about a photo on Facebook wanting to see my guns...come back with a warrant and GTFO.

 41.   Well, you realize that once you have HCP, you can carry an arsenal in car, all loaded, extra ammo where ever, right? (as long as long guns don't have one in chamber).       Also, btw, the new parking lot law doesn't kick in till July 1, ya know I guess.   - OS

 43. Lets think critically on this for a second folks. We know that there are tens of millions of folks with firearms who never go on shootings sprees or have any inclination towards murder. At the same time there are tens of millions of people who play shooting video games who don't go on violent shooting sprees. Anyone ever think for a moment that it isn't the gun or the video game that magically transforms a person into a mass murderer? Perhaps a person who fantasizes about mass murder acquires that weapon for the purpose of murder and plays the violent video game to feed their obsession with murder. Just a thought. Blaming video games for violence is like blaming guns. It is an incredibly stupid argument.

 45. Its surprising of the people that have no clue about what and/or what not can be done by Law Enforcement and /or DHS..  Paperwork signed by a judge better be in hand if they come to my house.. I have a long, funny story related to my Target practice and the neighbor across the road.. Kind'a unrelated but funny all the same.. My friend at central dispatch told me there was a call last week about some shooting n my neck of the woods.. He asked the caller two questions.. 1. Is it in the county? 2. Is he shooting on his own land? Needless to say the last Deputy that showed up at my house was due to him wanting to shoot my P238 (off duty). Stand your ground people.. Stand your ground..

 46. I still cant believe WE elected someone named "barack obama" while involved in a middle eastern war,I cant believe WE the people think something can be elaborately organized to rule in the future by a system that runs off  items paid for because it was the lowest priced.I cant believe our lawmakers advise people to "log on" to a website to get more information,AND,if anyone thinks the UN is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to lawmaking.....I wouldn't worry about it.By the time all the leaders understand anything the interpreters said and vote well all be dead anyway....I mean they fell for the WMD trick in Iraq right ???? <efg>

 47.   Proverbs 31: 10 - 31     10 Who can find a woman of worth? Far beyond jewels is her value.   11 Her husband trusts her judgment; he does not lack income.   12 She brings him profit, not loss, all the days of her life.   13 She seeks out wool and flax and weaves with skillful hands.   14 Like a merchant fleet, she secures her provisions from afar.   15 She rises while it is still night, and distributes food to her household, a portion to her maidservants.   16 She picks out a field and acquires it; from her earnings she plants a vineyard.   17 She girds herself with strength; she exerts her arms with vigor.   18 She enjoys the profit from her dealings; her lamp is never extinguished at night.   19 She puts her hands to the distaff, and her fingers ply the spindle.   20 She reaches out her hands to the poor, and extends her arms to the needy.   21 She is not concerned for her household when it snows—all her charges are doubly clothed.   22 She makes her own coverlets; fine linen and purple are her clothing.   23 Her husband is prominent at the city gates as he sits with the elders of the land.   24 She makes garments and sells them, and stocks the merchants with belts.   25 She is clothed with strength and dignity, and laughs at the days to come.   26 She opens her mouth in wisdom; kindly instruction is on her tongue.   27 She watches over the affairs of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness.   28 Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband, too, praises her:   29 “Many are the women of proven worth, but you have excelled them all.”   30 Charm is deceptive and beauty fleeting; the woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.   31 Acclaim her for the work of her hands, and let her deeds praise her at the city gates.     http://www.usccb.org/bible/proverbs/31

 49.
Comparing us to the above mentioned countries is hardly a valid argument, in my opinion. The US probably has more guns and gun owners than all of those countries combined.
Pass a few laws and post a few penalties, and when it comes down to it it won't matter how many gunowners this country currently has. How many fathers would risk ten years jail-time per firearm when he has a family to take care of? How many working class people would risk an ammo stockpile at $100 per round fine? It will get really hairy when times really get rough and you have people going hungry. Then all the government has to do is offer food vouchers or monetary payoffs to anyone that reports any fellow comrades holding out. Today you may be shooting buddies, but if your buddy's family is starving, he may just give the government a call and tell them about that one place you hid a box of ammo with a rifle. Of course (hopefully) this is extreme, but if the government was allowed to do it and we were to let them get away with it, it is exactly how it could go down. Today's generations have no idea what suffering is like. They have no idea what freedom means. Of course the founding fathers of our country wouldn't balk at a confiscation of arms; They would fight and die for it. They knew what it meant to live under suppression; They knew what it meant to die freely. Unfortunately, I think the 2nd amendment is something that a very large percentage would sacrifice if it were announced that no firearms owner would be allowed to buy the newest iPhone or something. Today's generation doesn't care about being free; They care about whether they have WiFi access and whether or not they have unlimited data on their cell plan. Or at least I fear...
