"Youngsters are by nature unpredictable." She doesn't think that children should be taught gun safety. I don't like her. She's a moral busybody. She's like Mrs. Cravits on Bewitched. Youngsters are very predictable....if you raise them right.7 points

Anyone who buys a firearm solely for the sake of re-selling it via private sale is begging for a visit from the BATFE. You might get away with that once or twice in a period of time (determined at their discretion) but if you flip a bunch of them you're obviously selling without a FFL and will end up facing prison time. Frankly I hope they start dropping that hammer on people sooner than later. It would really staunch the flow of guns out of gunshops for the sake of resale and leave some inventory for people who really want to own certain items.6 points

No. Shoot it then clean. Barrel break-in is for target shooter looking for that extra 1/10th moa. You will never notice the difference. You are more likely to wear the rifling unevenly from running a cleaning rod through it excessively than from bad break-in procedures.4 points

Most companies ahve been running 24/7 for a long time from what I have been told. I would rather them running production lines with every single body than have a Facebook staff. Dolomite4 points

A few links related to the same story ... http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/01/27/obama-gun-control-advocates-should-listen-more/ and then for the interview from the source Fox reports ... http://www.newrepublic.com/article/112190/obama-interview-2013-sit-down-president In the interview he says: "moving forward on the topic [gun control] means understanding that the realities of guns in urban areas are very different from the realities of guns in rural areas." Sir I have a suggestion for you ... if gun control is that important, and yet, has different realities for different areas of the country, why don't you provide the leadership, and let it happen on a state / local level ... if requested by the constituents of that locality?!?! That sir would be leadership, and not dictatorship. ... also from the interview ... it looks like he's going after football too! ha3 points

there is no end to how the liberals will change the facts to promote thier agenda here are 3 examples: 1) it sounds The president of the Milwaukee Deputy Sheriffs' Association, Roy Felber, said like a call to vigilantism. a) the sheriff is talking about defending oneself while in fear for your life -- not seeking vengence 2) Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett's office released a statement criticizing the ad: "Apparently Sheriff David Clarke is auditioning for the next Dirty Harry movie." a) if you cant argue against the facts make personal attacks ---- make the 2A supporters sound like war mongers b) by the way watching dirty harry as i type this 3) Jeri Bonavia, executive director of Wisconsin Anti-Violence Effort, said Clarke took a dangerous position with his ad. She pointed to the case of George Zimmerman, a) the sheriff said nothing about going out looking for trouble. only defending oneself in ones lawful domain the liberals are so blinded by their preconcieved biases they cant even discuss proposals like this on its own merits. i think this highlights the nature of the fight ahead of us. one last thought: with the cutbacks in his department i wonder if the sheriff may have had a alternative motive for this ad. When are people going to learn that police response time is measured in minutes and will only get longer as layoffs and budget cuts happen. People need to be prepared to defend themselves.and protect their families. I sent him and email telling him I backed him 100%2 points

What? There will be no "vote" on Feinstein's bill this week. Likely ever, as is.. But there will be an ongoing series of bills. Feinstein's effort is just the first foray. This stuff isn't likely to be "settled" even by end of the year. - OS2 points

Meh. Stallone and other celebrities are entitled to their opinions. I will still watch their movies. To me, Hollywood actors are here it entertain me. They are the court jesters. Why in hell would I care what the court jester thinks.2 points

As always, I'm a little late to the party, but... Keep my Remington 870 Express 12 ga. bed side, 6 in the tube and empty chamber. Have my Glock 19 or Kimber .45 on night stand (no children), magazine inserted with chamber empty. Reason being. Getting up in the middle of the night groggy to take a leak and if lucky, shoot a 90% x ring and 10% fail to neutralize. With the completion of the fire drill stub my toe on the way back. Now do I really want to be fumbling with a hot gun when groggy & clumsy? Of course most of it I blame on age.2 points

I'm thinking they're all running at max capacity. They can't justify building new facilities during a panic bump that could end any time. Ammo stores need to put limits on purchases, and people should quit going nuts.2 points

Just remember... some lawyers get into the business so that they can have a chance at politics and have a chance at eventually wielding power irresponsibly so that they can control you and me. These folks look like they'd be bad at playing poker too.2 points

I was actually looking into this the other day. It'll have to wait until next month or so before I can really devote any time to seriously investigating our options, though. I still need to get us moved over to our new web server.1 point

I recently had a local moving company move my safe in and they did a great job. It was $350 which is comparable to what Mahoneys was telling me. These guys were much easier to schedule. It is a Liberty Franklin 50 gun safe at almost 1200 lbs and they handled it well. They just needed some of my lumber to support the trailer/ramp as well to protect the tile. Funny story too. I had the ramp of my 16' trailer straight onto my front porch and when they got the safe onto the end of the trailer it lifted the entire front of the trailer into the air and they dropped to the ground. I thought for sure they were done for but they handled it well and got the safe up the ramp. Gary Mercer @ Crating and Moving Solutions 423-360-48471 point

I hired a moving company to put mine on the truck when I moved from Fl. 3 guys and a moving dolly took them about 10 minutes and cost me 50 bucks and a six pack of Bud light! Well worth it I thought.1 point

I think that might be factually correct. Doesn't matter, since our government is designed to prevent a simple majority of folks dictating to the whole country. That works in presidential elections, not with legislation.1 point

The concept of liberty doesn't expire. As such a document written in preservation of liberty is timeless. Only those who wish to take liberty feel differently. I can not fathom anyone not wanting to be free.1 point

You talking about Burk? I live outside the city limits (for now any way, they are trying to annex every nice neighborhood within 50 miles while skipping the poor ones) so I have to admit I havent studied up much on who is running. Our current mayor is the bigest douche bag ever to hold that position.1 point

I ordered one of these along with one of their double mag holsters recently for my M&P9c. Their website claims 12 working day shipment, but I had them in my hands in less than a week. Very high quality and great fit (a little too much retention out of the package). You can also order kydex pancake wings that will give you greater concealment, but the standard belt loops work just fine. After working the gun in and out many times, the holster settled into the right retention and draw. I ordered mine with no sweat guard so I could get a full grip before presentation of the weapon. The cant is also adjustable by re positioning the screws. I really like this rig. The only thing I had to get used to was the belt loops on the mag holster; I'm used to one that just snaps onto the belt. The holster is a deal at just $45, and the mag carrier at $30. $5.35 flat rate shipping. All in all, I'm very pleased with it as it is my first kydex holster. I used to carry IWB, but have discovered that with a good belt as part of my carry system, I can conceal just as well OWB and achieve a greater degree of comfort. The Glock 21 is my main carry gun. Might switch to the 19 after a couple hundred rounds, already have a MTAC holster I used for the 23. Still had all these laid out earlier and heard what I thought was my truck alarm going off. Had to pause for a second and figure out which one to grab. The obvious answer was .45.1 point

Lets not have the facts enter into the mix. They don't think and I am not sure that they have anything to thick with . They are spoiled and only want their way . They don't want one or see the need for one, so you shouldn't either . It is a matter of control . We the people are lower than them and they want to tell us everything we can or can't do as well as can or can't have . In order to get to the main objective they must remove as many guns as possible so they do not have to face an armed resistance. When I see the gun free zone sign I go some where else. If my gun is not welcome than neither am I or my money. It will not do any good but it is best to call and or contact the place of business ( and talk to someone in the higher managment ) and tell them why you will never spend any money with them .1 point

This occurred to me today... Hollywood can only use "legal" guns in movies. If it's banned, it can't appear in a Hollywood film.1 point
