  1. Remember your opinion in 20 years when the full power of BHO's Supreme Court has had its effect. - OS

  2. I was listening to an interview with Scalia the other day. He said that they are great friends although they disagree on everything. There is no reason why two people with very different philosophies can't get along. I get along just fine with liberals so long as they aren't venomous a-holes about it.

  3. Check other outlets, any outlet connected properly downstream from the GFCI outlet will act on it. If it still does not reset then I would check or have the breaker checked

  4. Complaining about bad customer service at Walmart is like complaining about your prostitute having herpes. If you like low prices there are some compromises you have to make.

  5. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/52777-its-clearance-time-at-gl-take-a-look-updated-10-16/ Near the bottom they have a Savage 110 in 30-06 for $150. You cannot beat this price on what will likely be the most accurate gun you have ever owned. Savages are known for being accurate. They are also very durable and doesn't require a smith to work on. 30-06 is capable of killing ANYTHING in North America. I would not feel undergunned with a 30-06. This is a sponsor here and he supports the site so I recommend we support him. Dolomite

  6. I just watched this on Pay per view, This explains so much about our President and should wake up even the most die hard Obama fan and show them how imperative it is that we get him out of office!

  12. See TCA 44-8-408 dogs can't run at large. I would think if you can show you were in fear of serious bodily injury from a dog attack (which is very likely) using deadly force on a dog is ok. I think the breed of the dog will make a difference. A Jack Russell doesn't quite put the fear in somebody as a larger breed does. OC spray seems to work very well on most dogs and it's only temporary.

  13. I have called LE about vicious dogs. They referred me to the SPCA. They said they would not respond to a vicious dog. The recommended I kill it. So the next time I seem the dogs on my property I took some shots. Fortunately for the dogs and their owners I missed. I spoke to the owners after their dogs had killed animals of ours. Their response, "dogs will be dogs". My response, "they won't be dogs anymore if I see them on my property again". You have the right to protect yourself and your animals with any means needed to remove the threat. Dolomite

  18. There is a large segment of firearm aficionados, liberal, conservative and all shades of those two political philosophies, who seem to have the opinion that a "hunting" firearm (meaning one that "looks" like a hunting firearm, in their opinion of course), is fine as is collecting firearms for the sake of collecting them but, as a group, are just as opposed to and dangerous to the public (you and me) being armed for our own protection as is any gun-grabbing/brady-bunch type group. I guess it just goes to show that stupidity and a lack of rational thought can be found in all facets of society.

  22. I can't believe no one else finds this as surprising as me. Ultra liberal SC judge is a hunter. Of course she may think it's OK for me to have a gun but not the common people, who knows.

  23. Right in your actions or not, if you are standing in a state that requires you to retreat and/or hasn't passed a version of "stand your ground" then a person thinking his actions are right won't keep him out of prison. At last count, 25 states have passed some sort of castle doctrine/stand your ground law which means 25 haven't. As is always the case, you need to know the laws of the state you are in or going to be in if traveling as each has its own flavor when it comes to the use of deadly force to defend yourself just as each have their own version of what is and isn't permissible in terms of carry. Finding out each state's laws isn't that difficult if one wants to know!

  26. I have never had to shoot a dog even working with the SPCA. I have a friend that has and it was because the dog had hold of his arm and started to shake. This was a bulldog and he had no choice. I personally would have to be bitten and in fear of my life. In my opinion there are no bad dogs just bad owners. JTM Sent from my iPhone

  27. While I do respect your view I would never let a dog bit me if I can help it. I believe in protecting myself and my family first and foremost and if a dog or any other animal has to die for my family and I to be safe then so be it. I will deal with the consequences as the arise. Also I live in a rural area, I wouldn't have to worry about discharging a firearm within city limits, and the collateral damage from my bullet would most likely be negligible. If I were walking my dog in a city/ urban environment my opinion might change. I would maybe reach for my knife instead of my pistol. Again I would do nothing unless I was in fear of my life and safety. I don't want you guys to think I would just shoot someones dog because they startled me.

  28. It is the responsibility of the dog owner to make sure their dogs are contained to their property… period. And if the dog is off their property and ends up dead; it’s their fault. I’m a dog lover and I would never kill a dog because he came running up to me, or because a neighbor lets their dog get out. However if a dog was attacking me I have no qualms about killing it. I would probably wait long enough that if I judged its intentions wrong I would get bit before I killed it. However; the owner of the dog is going to pay dearly if I get bit on property I have a right to be on.

  29. Just my opinion but, I'd much prefer not to have to deal with it. It's going to probably be a very fast attack, up close and chaotic. No time to consider where that bullet(s) will end up, and I'm responsible for where it goes. Myself, pepper spray would be the best and safest alternative.

  32. It's going to be a slow come on if any at all. Win7 does what people need it to now, with the economy in this state and the business side just getting to implement Win7, I expect Win8 to be a fairly exciting dud. Contrary to what they are stating, that Win8 is the most secure system they have released, and it is technically when measured against the same parameters Win7 was, but this OS does much more and it is not when you consider the new capabilities. DoD, NIST and a few other groups worked with MS on Win7 to help secure it. This time around, from what I understand, there was not as an extensive collaboration. The premise behind this OS was to suck up more of a marketshare by standardizing mobile devices from phones to tablets all the way to the users home pc. I think it's just a bad move all the way around, but hey.. they're the multi-billion dollar entity and I'm just a random guy on the internet.
