Well said. You will not change anyone's point of view to vote Paul by attacking their politics (party). The title "GOP commits suicide" should be replaced by "Paulies alienate everyone and marginalize themselves." How many Paulies believe their right everyone else is wrong? They say BHO is a narcissist.

oh dear lord, I am Ron Paul fan but Paulies are creating their own issues. When you are a nation this size with the diverse point of views as we have, you are not going to change hearts and minds by force. You will only change hearts and minds with proven success. The Paulies running around attacking the GOP because what drives the RP Libertarians does not DIRECTLY align with your run of the mill GOPer, Paulies then go after them just as hard as they attack the far lefturd. THis is what puts RP on a island. Saw Ron Paul last night talking on Fox about how he is not going to support the Mitt ticket. I understand and appreciate his point, but what he should have said is he will work with a Romney/Ryan administration to achieve what is needed. Instead he would rather piss on a GOP ticket that can help his cause and risk allowing another Obama administration that will fully destroy his cause.

BINGO!!! I voted 3rd party when Perot ran. in hindsight, I think all he really did was to pull enough voters away from the Republican party to get Clinton elected over George the First. Now I know that Bush had alienated much of his base by raising taxes despite an earlier pledge not to do that, but I still think were it not for Perot, Bush would have been reelected. I think the situation with Paul is similar. At THIS point in time, I think all voters can do is to make a point by voting for him. I would rather make a difference by voting for Romney. Otherwise we might have four more years of Obama. We might not ever recover from that!

I've learned not to be bothered by anything that I read in these threads. TGO is my go to source for gun information, good gun bargains and entertainment. I get comic relief from reading the political threads. A bunch of old men telling boogeyman stories to one another while waiting on a white knight to come in and save the country from another politician. Wash, rinse and repeat every four years.

It's not that I would think it a wasted vote. It is more so that if I want a change in presidents, I have to vote Republican, or if I want to keep it the same, I have to vote Democrat. To vote for a third party will voice my opinion, but will also take a vote away from the candidate that will actually result in the desired effect.

If company #2 offers you the position, take it. If, after you take the position, company #1 offers you the position and you still feel it's a better fit, quit company #2 and take the job at company #1. Remember, it's business; they wouldn't think twice about kicking you to the curb if they wanted/needed to.

The reason kids are coming out of public schools not knowing History, Math, or English is because they are being taught by MORONS.

I wouldn't care one bit if they allowed Islamic prayers provided they hadn't shot down the Catholic one. Favoritism is plain bad anyway you slice it. I'd be upset if they only allowed Christian prayer or Jewish prayer as well, if your going to go ahead and walk over the separation of church and state, at least let everyone march in the parade.
