Because all over this country nut jobs are walking into places and killing everything that moves. People are realizing that the only way to stop a shooter is to be a shooter. As much as I hate Obama he didn’t have anything to do with the jump in business around the election; gun owners (and gun/ammo retailers) did that.2 points

Dave, in my opinion the federal marshal died of a genetic disorder - terminal stupidity. I'm not, repeat not going to rehash that old history, but your opinion in the matter is a decided minority. Sooner or later, to man or to God, Horiuchi will answer for his misdeeds.1 point

He should have had to rot (or still be rotting) in jail first. I'm not against "forgiveness"; in fact I admire anyone who can truly forgive such a horrible wrong; but the man, and his superiors should all have been punished for their actions.1 point

I have an LCP. I pocket carry it, and dont worry about it. The long trigger pull IS the safety. You do need to carry it in a pocket holster that covers the trigger. Carrying it unchambered is not something I would do. It's not heavy enough to hurt someone when you throw it at them.1 point

In an attempt to find the latest data on nuclear winter, I have solved the global warming problem. If it gets to hot, just bust enough nukes to cool it back down. I'm gonna get the Nobel prize for this one. We even have a few good places to bust 'em.1 point
