I finally got some time to actually hunt. My uncle has been losing chickens and a lot of them. He has lost 10 or 11 in the past 2 weeks or so. He is tired of keeping them in the pen. He has personally seen 3 of the chickens get taken by coyotes throughout the weeks. Since I was headed to Perry County anyways I decided to bring all my coyote gear with me. After spending some time with family, I drove over to his house to do some calling. I set up in a field behind his house were he has been seeing them the most. I pulled out my TC coyote reed made a few howls and went right into my DSG cottontail distress on my fox pro. It played through 2 sequences and out came this young male. He ran right up to my caller and 50 or so yards later he layed within 2 feet of it. My total set up to the shot was less than 8 minutes. I called for a little longer but had no more takers. Equipment used: Howa M1500 Ranchland 243 Catridge: Hornady Superformance 58 grain V Max Calls: TC coyote pup diaphragms and Fox Pro Wildfire Sounds played: Young coyote pup howl, DSG cottontail and Coyote pup distress Stands made: 1 Coyotes seen:1 and 1 shot Oh and don't mind my blue tennis shoes. I forgot my boots at home. At least I didn't wear my crocs lol. Thats also my dog Jack in the picture. He tries to re-kill the animals I bring to show him.

I cannot connect these things to age. Just sounds like you, and myself, are just somewhat introverted or downright antisocial. I do not mind talking on my job because its usually my boss and he wants to pay me to goof off, I am happy to oblige. But when some idiot calls me to ask me 20000 questions in hindu or whatever language it is, that makes me into mr. grouch in a hurry. However i am happy to chat on a forum all day. It just depends on the topic I guess, if I am bored, I want it and the person to go away, and online, I can control that. In person, its draining. I do not feel old. Everything still "works" and nothing really hurts often, just if I over-do it and that happened as a teenager too, anyone can stress their body. But now and again I have horrible realizations. Things like WWII vets .... kids that are born this year will probably never talk to one, for the most part. Things like being mailed about a 20 year HS reunion, it *can't* have been that long ago! Things like "you must have been born in 1991 to drink" startle me now and then. Basically I still feel like a teenager so these occasional reminders are unwelcome, I would rather not think about it for another 20 if that is OK....

You are not a people person. I have worked in sales and retail the past five years and there are always people like that. Sometimes it's just best to have a "project" in the back that needs to be taken care of.

Regarding statements...if it was absolutely, positively a 100% justified shooting, attacker's weapon is still in his hand, I might give a cursory statement right then and there but I'm not going to say yeah I'll come in tomorrow and talk. That's probably the last thing that I care to do. If they call you the next day or a few days later and say we want you to come down and give a statement, get a lawyer because that means charges are coming. They want you to come in only so they can formally charge you. I don't think having insurance would be admissible, or could be used against you. If it could, people wouldn't have insurance.

After Clinton's 2nd term, GWB's 2nd term and BHO's performance. It is my personal political philosophy never to vote for an incumbent. Short terms and term limits for everyone including judges should be mandatory. No golden parachutes, no lifetime pensions. They need to get into office, serve and get out.

That notice has been up for months I believe, could be wrong. Either way whatever excuse they used it's not right just to put you off like that. I had a problem a month or so ago where a guy came in and bought a Palmetto AR from us. He got home and realized that the rifle he bought should have come with a flip-up rear sight that it did not have with it. Come to find out later the model he bought was supposed to be a flattop and not with sights, but we threw in the sight anyway. Why? Cause it's worth more than a flip up rear sight to us to have a happy customer, than a mad one. Word of mouth is far stronger than most people give it credit.
