  2. When he voted to approve Timothy Geithner I emailed him to voice my disapproval of letting a tax cheat run the Treasury Dept. He wrote back that we should allow Prez Zero to have anyone he needs to get the economic system under control and said that Geithner was "most qualified." I wrote back, "With that standard, I believe Rod Blagojevich is qualified to be a Tennessee senator." He blocked my email from then on.

  4. Spots, it's a 5 1/2 hour trip. You need to make a weekend of it. If you've never seen Reel Foot, you're missing out. See a bunch of bald eagles, eat at the only restaurant in the country that's allowed to serve Crappie. Take a bundle, you will spend it in Dixie Gun works. Judging you by your posts, you like to see the trees through the eyes of a man that lived a 150 years ago, Dixie Gun Works is a Mecca for guys like you.

  8. The words don't mean anything to him and shouldn't to us either. He's windy enough to blow up an onion bag.

  9. I recall a few years ago a video of a young man who had been harrassed by a police officer before set up a video camera and recorded a stop. The police officer went looney on him, then threatened to arrest him and make up charges. Like most videos of that nature, it went viral and made the national news. At that point I don't believe admissible matters. The damage done by such a release would send a DA running into the corner and severly damage any LEO agency attempting to push charges on you. I've seen stories of PDs issuing their officers body worn cameras to record interactions with the same intention as the cruiser cams. I think all that is a great idea, and if I was an LEO I'd be all over it. When my dad finally got one for his car it made quick work of complaints against him; all they had to do was to look at the tape.

  10. IANAL either but according to http://www.rcfp.org/can-we-tape/tennessee (notice every state is different like most gun laws) I believe we can. Besides they are taping it from their cars if they want to dispute it.

  11. You know, I read somewhere that one in five people in the world is Chinese. Well, it got me to thinking - there's five people in my family, so one of us must be Chinese. Now, I'm not sure, but I think it's probably my brother, Dean. Of course I guess it could be my brother Wong Fang, but I really think it's Dean...

  12. It's always a good idea to record interactions with law enforcement. Most phones and many MP3 players have built in recorders. And if it is laying there in plain sight face down no one will know. It could save your butt if you wind up with a corrupt cop.

  13. Bring it to Tn Gun Country tomorrow between 12 and 4:30 there will be two Glock Armorers there to look at it. Won't cost you a penny, plus replacement parts are available if necessary.
