  1. If people can be shot for farting, I'm going to need to get a will made up.

  2. I carry an M&P Shield, and when I was looking for a mag pouch I decided against one in a vertical position because I have a "little more to love" around my midsection. Looking online for some horizontal mag pouches, I only found some full concealment velcro types - I really wanted a kydex one. Enter Dale Fricke and his Joab Mag Pouches. After having a question about how much of the magazine would be uncovered to aid in easy mag extraction answered quickly via e-mail, I placed my order and 4 days later it arrived. First Impressions When the package arrived, this is everything that was in the box: I was a little surprised to see another big thing in the box, and it turned out it was a Bible. Now, you have to understand that Dale Fricke names all his products after names in the Bible, so this was pretty fitting, although highly surprising. Fit and finish were great, and it held my 8 round mag well, although there is a retention screw that you can adjust to your liking. I snugged it down a little bit as I want to have to give a thoughtful tug on it to get the mag out. I went with the Left Hand Carry, Right Hand Operator and Bullets Up options, and bullets up gave me the Final Impressions After wearing the Joab mag pouch for a few days, I have come to a few conclusions: 1. Carrying another magazine doesn't have to be something you fight with, like I thought it was going to be. 2. A horizontal mag pouch really is comfortable, and in the position I carry it's surprising that it's so comfortable and unnoticeable. 3. Having never carried a spare mag before, it took some time trying different positions and draws to see what I liked, and I settled on the position shown in the picture below. The way I carry it now, the motion I make is as if I was reaching for my belt buckle to adjust my pants, so it's a very natural motion. In conclusion, I have to recommend this mag pouch to anyone looking for a comfortable and discreet way to carry another magazine. For $40 dollars plus shipping, I think it was a pretty good value. Mr. Fricke can also custom make a holster to your needs, for example, if you want a mag pouch and a flashlight holster, he can do that, or a mag pouch / knife combo he can do that as well. 4. Just his past run ins with law enforcement and the negligent death of his child coupled with leaving an establishment that exists to serve booze. Is it really so cut and dry to believe the cops just decided to pick one out of the lot to beat up? You know as well as I do that tapes don't tell the full story and neither does this article.

  5. Based on the circumstances I'd say it's a safe bet there's more to the story. There always is. The fact that he's coming out of a night club suggests what the missing link is. I've been to many clubs and most folks drink there. Plus, based on his history I'd say he doesn't make very good life choices. There is enough to believe that there is more than just cops picking on some poor guy.

  7. Any time the PD beat the crap out of a black man the comments are going to be as such. In fact, anytime the PD beats the crap out of anyone the comments are going to be anti-PD. I must be one of the few that is cheering on the cops as they beat the crap outa criminal scum.

  8. I think we should have enforcement about like Germany. You can do that kind of junk if you want and kill yourself off, but if you bother anyone else in the process or do something stupid the cops will beat you into the pavement until you can't move, then they'll call some buddies over to beat you some more, then they'll plop you in jail for however long they feel like it. Society tries to resolve multiple issues with children by placing them on legalized amphetamines, (because pharmaceutical grade drugs are much better for them I guess) but we use the children as an excuse to restrict our freedom when it comes to someone making similar garbage because it doesn't have an fda stamp on the baggie. Don't take that the wrong way like I think we should just have no law addressing the matter because it is quite the opposite. As long as those crackheads weren't bothering anyone else cooking up that demon sperm in the night around no one else I have no problem with it. Now the second they bother someone's property, or bother someone else, or put someone else at risk then I think that is when they should be hammered to a wall, spayed and neutered, then forced to stand in some awkward yoga pose while being injected with whatever they use for lethal injections

  10. Looking at it as a former cop, my feeling is that Meth is a huge problem. It is so rampant that if a cop wants to bust drug makers and dealers he won’t have to worry about busting people with the contents to make it; identify them for a later bust. At 3am walking around behind a church meeting up with someone else, carrying the supplies for meth, you either have a cooker or someone selling the ingredients. It might be a case you could win in court; but not the kind of case I would want. I would tell him I’ve identified him as being involved in drugs and that I’m going to eventually bust him; then I would let him go. He has had his warning. Later when he’s set-up for a buy/sale from a UC; he busted. Long term solution? Jobs. Our economy is collapsing and this problem is only going to get worse. We are going to need more cops, but eventually there won’t be money to pay them. Family values & morals. Too many parents don’t know what their kids are doing, don’t care, or don’t handle it properly when they are made aware. It’s tough to help those kids. Short term? Build more prisons and keep them in prison longer. But again, it will become hard to find money for that.

  12. I'm sure the article does not cover everything. Maybe he was resistive and beligerant to the officers? Please do not refer to LEO's as "Thugs with Badges and Guns".......I take offense to that!

  13. I am aware they are different organizations with similar names. I was saying that it wasn't the first time we have been struck on Yemeni soil. A terrorist group is a terrorist group is a terrorist group.....regardless of their specific name. They act against the United States, her interests, and her allies. Attempting even one attack should earn the organization and it's members a death warrant. It's a simple message - You attempt to attack America, you die. I have seen a couple of his videos but no, I didn't watch them regularly and I don't now. Inciting followers to attack the US is the same as attacking the US. UBL didn't fly those planes himself - he directed and incited others to do so. If the KKK was a foreign group operating in foreign lands, I guarantee they'd be collecting their due. The nutcases in America can get away with it simply because they are in America and they can hide behind the very words they are attempting to subvert. You're correct - if Alwaki had sat on his couch in America and preached his garbage, he'd be protected. But he wasn't - he was in a foreign land operating with a FTO. The 3 we are talking about weren't in America. At least 2 out of 3 had vocally reveled in declaring themselves traitors. They belonged to an organization that was designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization by the State Department. That makes them legitimate targets - anytime, anywhere deemed appropriate. You're willing to risk others' lives to apprehend an admitted traitor to America. I am not. I'm perfectly happy with sticking a Hellfire up his ass. ETA: Please show me where Alwaki was on the US payroll helping stomp out domestic terrorists.

  14. FTFY. Personally, I admire somebody that can muster up a good enough fart to make a man reach for his gun. I've lived on a pretty steady diet of soul food when I was working in Memphis, but never got that good at it.

  16. More and more this seems to be a rant on the veracity of the Obama Administration and less about killing self proclaimed terrorists. You don't trust the US Gov't? Fine, don't take their word that these guys were terrorists. How do you deny news organizations across the world and the terrorists own words and actions? I'm don't understand the disconnect. Did you want Alwaki to run an ad during American Idol? Bomb your local mall? 3 attacks (not sure where you're getting that number)? Or 3 that we know of? Maybe 3 successfully attempted? Regardless, it was 3 too damn many. Another thing, you're forgetting the USS Cole while they were in a Yemeni port back in 2000. Was that an unsuccessful attack because it only killed 17 sailors and maimed others? You reap what you sow. If you're a member of an identified Terrorist organization that operates against the United States or her interests, no matter where you are or what you're doing, you can expect a Hellfire or JDAM through your window.

  19. The trigger improves a lot & will smooth out with use. Some dry firing will help break it in quick. It also depends on which generation model you tried. Do you remember the first three digits of the serial number or if the mag release was round or D shaped? Generation 1 & 2 models have a round mag release button & the gen 3's have a D shaped button & much improved trigger. The gen. 1's had a rougher trigger than the gen 3's. Mine's a gen. 2, produced after the recall, with a Ghost Rocket installed. It has a 4 1/2 lb trigger that's really smooth & crisp on the break. It's one of the easiest shooting pistols I own.

  21. Johnny Walker was a fine and dandy legitimate target. The only reason he wasn't killed is because he surrendered like the coward he is. Once in custody he gets his due process. However, up to that point he is a combatant, and a valid target whether he's holding an AK or eating boiled goat meat on the side of a mountain. I understand laws of war and ROE just fine. There are plenty of dead enemy that we killed who weren't fighting at the time they were shot. You don't have to wait for them to pick up a gun and start shooting at you before you can kill them. Just because a restrictive ROE say not to, that doesn't mean it's illegal or a war crime.

  22. You made no factual argument other than to try marginalize Islam by using selective parts of "Christianity" out of context from 1000 plus years past to justify your statements. Your argument is not about the "facts" but an attempt to make this debate one solely based on prejudice and religious contempt, as you perceive it, by anyone who disagrees with you. Emotion based debates don't farewell. The comparison to the Trayvon threads is valid, because you did the same thing there. Deriding everyone who disagreed with you with as racial, prejudiced, and narrow minded the same as you have done here. It is a pattern. Just Say-in.

  24. JayC, isn't an enemy an enemy no matter what? Just because he's not walking up to your door with an SVEST or popping shots over his head w/ an AK at you doesn't mean he's not a target. This is a new asymmetric battlefield. The front lines of yesterday no longer apply. These people don't think twice about bombing market places, cutting of your head, or inciting others to do the same. If a person renounces his citizenship and basks in declaring himself a traitor to America, why should they retain the very freedom and values that they attack? They deserve no quarter. Today's battlefields are everywhere, not just a mountain in the Korengal or a building in Fallujah.
