I can't keep from wondering how long it will take before a small private or business aircraft crashes as the result of a collision with these drones.2 points

I was going to post this thread, but since it has already been created, I am more than happy to comment on it. Take that all you Paul(s) haters. Seriously, I knew Rand would support Romney. He is grounded in reality and understands that just because you lose a battle doesn't mean you pack up your s**t and go home. You stay in the war and keep fighting. I am pretty disgusted by a lot of the comments saying Rand is a sellout and such. What a pant load. Rand is still one of, if not the best senator we have. I have been a Paul supporter (and still am) throughout this entire election cycle, but I have to admit that there are some Paul supporters that are just bat s**t crazy.2 points

Are there many documented cases where Tennesseans were charged in an SD shoot in their homes? Other than cases that were shady? I know it happens all the time in freedom hating states but haven't seen any stories in TN. In fact, I've seen a bunch where folks probably did break the law, such as shooting at fleeing suspects, and they still weren't charged. The DA still has to depend on jurors to convict someone, and I don't see that happening in a state full of folks that believe in defending themselves. That's a lot of money to waste on the Government side for a case they won't win, hence short career. Not to mention the outrage from voters the next time the DA is up. I'm not losing sleep over any of it anyway. If I am considering the legality of whether or not I can shoot then I'm obviously not in fear for my life or the lives of my family and therefore not justified using deadly force. The question folks should be asking themselves in a situation like that shouldn't be "can I" it should be "do I need to?"1 point

Yeah I'm going agree with Caster because I'm younger. I hate being touched by anyone, hate it.1 point

Well, I can guarantee you that I am, and a miserable one at that. I fail to see how or why that affects anything.1 point

I know exactly what you are talking about, I've noticed this quite a few times ...just recently I was talkin to this fella I had just met in his late 50s a few weeks back for about thirty minutes at work & as he was leavin (to go meet his wife) he shook my hand again, added in pat on the back from the side as we were walkin toward the door that almost turned into a one armed hug. It went from cool to awkward in like 15 sec & lingered too long. I was feelin like I got rolled like a 13 yr old thai boy. 'Wtf just happened' in my head. I suppose my time in the north has made me hyper sensitive but that was weird. I feel like it just an expression of comraderie more than anything but I may have thicker personal boundaries than most. If it helps Caster, my mom & wife do admit I can be a major ###hole. Lol. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 21 point

The call comes in, "All units, assault at Walmart!" Heroic TN-popo is first onscene. He valiantly jumps out of his cruiser and races to the door. What does he see? A trembling Caster, huddled in the corner, pointing to the 75 year old, somewhat confused, door greeter. "HE SAID 'HELLO' AND TOUCHED ME ON THE SHOULDER! ARREST THAT MAN!" TN-popo looks at Caster, then the door greeter, and back at Caster. He then looks for the Candid Camera setup, doesn't see it, shakes his head and walks away. All in fun, mate (the English/Aussie mate, not the manlove mate). Seriously, find me a magistrate that would issue that arrest warrant. I will add, I'm not a big "toucher" either, but it happens.1 point

I only slip the tongue to men i know or those i wish to assault. Real men back slap, two hand shake, grab an arm. It is manly and not to be misconstrued as assault. It's what some manly men do. Be thankful they are not grabbing ass. Though i have never met men who do this, but then i have not spent time in WVa or Alabama either.1 point

Or Komifornia ... In reality though, I'm a back slapper too. No, I don't have any homesexual tendancies, nor do I really think about it when I'm doing it, I just normally slap a friends back/shoulder if he leaving or something. Not sure how or why I started doing this ... ? LOL I'll make sure to give you 4ft in each direction Caster if we ever meet1 point

The Mustang GT was never in competition with the Vette. The Shelby GT 500 was aimed toward the vette and now ZL1. The Boss 302 was aimed toward the BMW M5's, etc. The plain old GT's are aimed at the Camaro SS and cars in that class/price range.1 point

I have some old cell phones that still have good battery life and when I go on overnight hikes I take an old one along with me in case something happens to my primary phone. Just a little more assurance if anything should happen. Sent from my Droid RAZR Maxx using Tapatalk 21 point

Legally it is the customer's property but the dealer cannot release it until approved. If the suppressor disappeared it would be the customer out the money so they are the owner. The dealer is just s middleman. Dolomite1 point

While I have some problems with some of RP's positions, my major hangup has always been with his supporters who seem to take their adoration of RP to an almost religious level - who seem willing to let the country go straight to hell if they don't get their way. The honorable thing for RP to have done and/or to do now would be to state flat out that he will not run as a third-party or a write-in candidate and urge his supporters to vote for whoever the R nominee is. He should have done that from the start of the campaign, that he still hasn't gives me cause to think that his motives for wanting the Presidency is more about RP's ego than an act of service/sacrifice to the country.1 point

I agree also but the fact is the Gov. does interfere with who you rent to. If the roles were reversed in this case I bet the Gov. would be forcing the man to rent to the anti military woman. Glenn1 point

I don't think I would flip out on the guy or demand some form of compensation. After you complete the process and the suppressor is yours I would very calmly tell him that you have lost confidence in his ability to make good, ethical decisions and you will be taking your business elsewhere from here on out. If you have been doing business with this man for 15 years this will speak more to him than demanding a discount or causing a scene will. Also, in instances like these I do think it is kind of important to tell the members here where it was.1 point

Sgt. Joel Morgan and anyone else that has served should be proud of the service they have given their country. But you can’t fix ignorance and hate. This woman has the right to refuse to rent to whoever she pleases as long as they are not a protected group. We all served to protect rights; even the ones we don’t believe in. Unfortunately we are not a protected group. When our troops came home from Vietnam they were spit on in airports and on the street. Sgt. Morgan, if I were you I would hold my head high and drop this lawsuit. This woman doesn’t deserve your time or energy; she is a moron. Don’t let her be a martyr. I’m sure since this story was posted you have had many offers of a place to rent from decent Americans who appreciate what you did. And although people like this woman would never serve, they are the type to scream the loudest when they think someone has violated one of the rights you served to protect. Thank you for your service.1 point
