  1. Really? Is that what he was doing? Presumption. Approached? Presumption. 'Rights' to beat the hell out of someone? Accoster? Presumption. Again...'rights'? We do know after-the-fact that he had no gun. Funny how things are usually more clear after-the-fact. Therefore, It would be presumptuous for Trayvon to assume that Zimmerman had a gun and to start pummeling him. The first one to initiate contact is the aggressor. You'd be in jail. I have never heard of a law that allows someone to beat another person for following them around. Not sure how someone gets out of a truck in a "threatening" manner. Not to mention that Trayvon was nowhere near Zimmerman when Z exited his truck for the purpose of seeing where he went because he had lost him and then heading toward an intersection to establish his location, then returning to his truck. Yes, we do. And your look from Trayvon's side is presumption and pure conjecture. All of the released evidence and testimony supports absolutely none of what you have presumed.

  2. His story is he stopped when the dispatcher told him that. He was on his way back to his vehicle. If he didn't verbally threaten, or physically assault Trayvon, he didn't start the altercation. Percieviong someone as following you(Trayvon), does not give you the right to assault that person.

  3. Sounds good...I mean why should Zimmerman be allowed to access to the money people have donated so he can pay a defense attorney that he probably shouldn't have had to hire in the first place. That old Constitution really gets in the way sometimes doesn't it.

  4. As a strict interpretationist, I think requiring permits is a violation of our rights. Too few people agree with me, so I'm stuck with the laws we have. However, I can't help but wonder why the SCOTUS struck down poll tests, but not HCP testing. Seems like any test used to grant rights we should already have are just plain wrong. If the argument is about public safety, I'd be in favor of dropping the HCP testing and require parenting tests. Afterall, stupid people are much more likely to botch child-rearing than they are to shoot somebody. I see it every day.

  10. well i guess i will weigh in on this one. i have been shooting cast bullets for over 40 years .caster is right to get a good cast bullets you pretty much have to cast it yourself. imo there is no reason to spend money on jacketed bullets when a properly sized and lubed bullet will do the same job .most of my rifle bullets in 25 cal and larger are cast as well. yes i shoot load and sell other bullets but most pistolrounds do as good or better with cast

  11. How exactly do the police have probable cause that a bank robber is stopped at a stop light at this exact minute, yet have no information about their race, gender, age, clothing, or make, model, color of vehicle they are in? The citizens were held in handcuffs for almost 2 hours, had their vehicles searched, and there children who were riding with them scared half to death... That sounds a little more serious than a simple inconvenience to me.

  12. Translation: "None that can be pointed to or named." Wanting them to exist for the sake of an argument doesn't count. Breitbart offered $100,000 for video evidence of the Tea Party spitting on the black caucus, as far as I know, he never paid out.

  15. I wonder if some of these race-baiters truly want a race way or if they just like the sound of their own voice (and the donations of the idiots who follow them). A phrase comes to mind..."be careful what you wish for because you just might get it"!

  16. I swapped out one of my regular .45 Ruger pistols in a SASS match last month with an 1858 in .44 without telling anyone except the Loading Officer. All of the chit chat behind the firing line came to an abrupt halt when all of a sudden the firing area was covered in thick black powder smoke after the distinctive double detonation of a C&B revolver. It was fun to do for a change. Cherokee Slim

  17. I'm not taking sides here, but "what if" Trayvon felt threatened by being followed by someone? I mean we have a seventeen year old kid walking along minding his business. He is followed by and then approached by Zimmerman. If Trayvon felt threatened and in danger of his own life and/or being being robbed, he had all rights in the world to beat the h*** out of his ACCOSTER, The kid had NO GUN on him, which give him all rights to use his fist. I would do the same if it were me! Follow me around , get out of your truck and approach me in a threatening manner and get similiar treatment! We have to look at both sides of this story! Dave

  18. Exactly. It's unlikely we'll ever hear all the REAL evidence of this incident unless it goes to trial (and I'm not sure it will get that far) but from what has come out, there seems to at least be cause to consider that little Travon was the aggressor here and Zimmerman responded. I'm not saying Zimmerman did everything right here, far from it...but that doesn't translate to being charged with, much less found guilty of murder.
