I would love to see some sort of indelible ink mark applied to those that voted. It would eliminate 90% of the fraud that goes on. I would also like to do away with any and all forms of absentee voting. All voting must be done in person because if a person is that worried about who they are voting for they can at least show up in person. For military they would vote just like everyone else, in person. Voting while abroad might have been an issue 30 years ago but now with everything being instant because of modern communications there is no need to fill out a form then mail it in. Most voting machines are electronic anymore anyways so instant counting is easy. Something else I would like to see is voting times extended to 24 hours. And all polls across the nation open and close at the exact same time. There is no excuse as to why they couldn't make it in person within 24 hours. And for that day make all public transportation free. Make all voting machines electronic and make the results available instantly. That is when one person casts their vote it will be visible in the on going tally before they even exit the booth. And the presidential tally will not be part of a precinct or a regional result but will be part of a national tally. The presidential tally needs to be displayed live on public television for the 24 hours that the polls are open. And the winner will be obvious within minutes of all the polls closing. No more waiting and counting results for hours because they just allows those who are corrupt to alter the results. I also believe anyone that has no reportable income and is on welfare or public assistance, other than unemployment, should not be allowed to vote. Only those who actually contribute to the system should be allowed to vote to make changes to that system. On top of that I do believe that those who have paid all their debts to society for their crime(s) should be allowed to vote. But if they are still on probation, parole or on a sex offender registry should not be allowed to vote. And finally, anyone who has ever been convicted of voter fraud should be barred from ever voting again regardless if they have paid all their debts or not. It is a sad state of affairs when the winner of American Idol had more votes than any president in history. And I know that those who vote on American Idol winners can vote more than once but that is also the case with our political elections any more. Dolomite3 points

My personal favorite. "You blame rich Republicans for destroying the economy, but think a multibillionaire ex-Nazi collaborator with a history of actually crashing actual economies is just a good ally."2 points

Egyptians vote in first free election in nation's history http://video.foxnews.com/v/1652664082001/egyptians-vote-in-first-free-election-in-nations-history/?playlist_id=87485 At 0:43 - "...in the United States we take for granted a free and fair election..." Purple thumbs. That's what we need here. One person, one vote. ID required.2 points

It's probably more accurate to say it was the first bad decision their frineds knew about. Fine, upstanding, intelligent, good people don't just up and decide to knock off a convenience store and beat the clerk with guns as their first foray into bad decision making.2 points

I like that. If some random person asks me about the bulge under my shirt, I tell them it is a colostomy bag. That pretty much ends the conversation right there.2 points

Why is teaching children safe gun handling practices never advocated by anyone but me?2 points

ok so season 2 of American Guns started a few weeks back and I didnt know about it until two days ago. So, since I really liked season 1, I started catching up on season 2 episodes on On Demand. I gotta say, this so far this season is kind of a letdown, they are making some pretty silly stuff IMO. Where are all the custom 1911's and single action's that were made last season? In the newest episode they made a "Mortar Axe", I mean come on guys. I know its a tv show and its more than likely scripted, but I hate to see another gun store go down in a Red Jacket style hollywood blaze. I can only imagine some of the silly stuff that the next seasons will bring if they keep it up. Disappointed so far.1 point

In 1272, the Arabic Muslims invented the condom, using a goat's lower intestine. In 1873, the British somewhat refined the idea by taking the intestine out of the goat first.1 point

Unless you croak purt soon, I'll kinda be surprised if they won't. Not so easy to even spot, let alone hit with conventional small arms. That's why they don't get shot down in mid east. Perhaps whole new underground shooting sports industry will arise: mobile trailers with heat seeking .50BMG or larger synced with radar and infrared. 21st century big game hunting, can even do it from an urb. - OS1 point

A simple "up" vote was not good enough to express my agreement with your post Mike. The constant indignation aimed at Dems ticks me off. There is no real difference between the two major parties. They are both filled with guilt.1 point

He certainly would not have been worse, and Gore winning might have put the kabosh on our current Manchurian president. Think about that.1 point

A lot of folks believe, the outrage on the the left was, that Gore fell short and didn't steal it good enough! Anyways, I call "1911 versus Glock" on this . . . (knowing in my heart the superiority and purity of the 1911 and the Right . . . ) Picture ID for all voters, vote once, empowered & vigilant poll watchers, and NO DEAD PEOPLE for all elections. May the best team win.1 point

I've had my issues in the past with FGS. I also haven't had those problems as of late so live and let live. I'd love to see them get it. For any faults they still have, they rival any other shop within 500 miles for inventory, the doors are open and they are always busy. Someone is doing something right. It goes without saying Uselton was doing something wrong.1 point
