Ha,just kidding.I got to fire my new Pro Carry HDII,and I might add out of 70 mixed kinds of ammo including my weak in the knees reloads, mixed with Remington Golden Saber the pistol did real well.So don't listen to all of the internet rattle about all Kimber's are just junk.out of the 2 I do own,not a junk one between them. And darned fun to shoot I might add1 point

my mother in law has asked me in the past if my guns were registered. I just say no,. She has warned me several times that I am going to get in trouble for not registering them. I just tell her that "the man" don't scare me none.1 point

Did you call whoever you bought the rifles from and let them know about the ammo? Just cause they sent it does not make it right to just up and keep it. I could not do it, would have to let them know about it.1 point

I went to the Classic Arms gun shop in Memphis yesterday to see about getting a sling attachment point put on my AR. I tried doing it myself but I couldn't get the castle nut off. The gunsmith at Classic Arms said he could do it in 10 minutes. So he took my AR and broke two tools trying to get the castle nut off, scraping the buffer tube in the process. Spikes Tactical had staked that thing in 3 different places and the only way to get the castle nut loose was to cut it. I took the AR lower in again today and dropped it off before work. I go back at lunchtime and not only is the attachment point installed, but I had a new buffer tube and the gunsmith had patched up the lower receiver where I had scratched it myself when trying to remove the castle nut. I had put the lower wrapped in a T-shirt in a vice and got some scratches through the shirt. In the end, however, I got a new buffer tube, a new castle nut, some cosmetic repair work, and my SAP installed for only $10. I just want to say that the service at Classic Arms is great and how it should be everywhere, not just gun stores. I couldn't be happier with them.1 point

fourteeen laps in and I have already have told Waltrip to STFU at least five times. He is the most over rated race announcer there is. I blame the wreck on a green track too. Sadler did not do anything wrong. Not like he tagged the 48 car hard.1 point

This is a class act. We would not otherwise have known of the link to you. My thoughts was that Lyman would make it good anyway, but it is really cool to see you pop up and proactively intervene. A man, as good as his word, and more.1 point

Man, I'm lucky. When I have such dreams, not only do I always have my firearm and not only does it always function properly but, when called upon to do so, I always make the extremely difficult shots that I know I probably wouldn't make in reality.1 point

............if they can't see it, how are they going to verify in a court of law that you were actually carrying a concealed weapon.........( seen bulges on belts are moot since almost everyone carries something bulky (cell phone/flashlights/ammo etc. on their belts these days....1 point

I would like to know if this is true, because the only reason I ever go into the post office is to go check by PO box and I hate taking my gun off.1 point

I saw the movie yesterday and concur with most of the OP. I was intrigued by their mixing of the typical spectator views with 1st person shooter views of not only the combat but also the jump/SCUBA scenes. I noticed a lot of women and a few men got restless during the relatively short movie, and I wonder if it was because of the nature of the film, (being a participant rather than a voyeur), and the business-like nature in which the story is portrayed. The scene over the sub was awesome, (I thought so anyways), but wasn't that a boomer, and aren't the SEAL Team and their mini-subs attached to attack subs? The LT's letter to his unborn son about tore me up - in particular looking into the baby's eyes while his momma read the letter. Too many in our society insulate themselves from such thoughts of sacrifice by our servicemembers. I was also struck by the fact that 60 SEAL Team members have been KIA since 09/11/01 and the making of that film. I thanked them for their sacrifice.1 point

Baby steps. Now that you have seen the error in your ways and stepped up from Taurus to Glock; soon you will be ready for the next logical step…. M&P.1 point

I think most of the people using this argument are trying to fool themselves into feeling better about not stocking their own supply of ammunition in the calibers they need. Mike1 point

Their right to know ****ing what exactly?! That I'm exercising my Constitutional right to keep and bear arms?! If I wanted everyone to know I carried I'd staple my permit to my forehead and OC. I've been raising hell all day to everyone. I printed off most of my co-worker's info and put it in their hands. Guess how happy they were? I've gotten a Myspace bulletin passed around to over 1000 pissed off people. I've also written letters to CA and my reps. I am fighting mad about this. I never got one response from CA. Some of my friends have, but they were blow them off responses. Here is what I want in return, I want the CA to post a criminal history database. I want every criminal in Memphis to be in the same type of situation. It's my right to know. In the words of Wyatt Earp, You tell them I'm coming and Hell is coming with me!!!!1 point

Found myself, my wife, my mother, most of my friends etc. That's fine I hope somebody breaks into my house with that list in there pocket. Because after I take them out I'm taking that blood stained piece of paper up to the Commercial Appeal and putting copies of it on the lawsuit I file against the State of TN, The Commercial Appeal, the Dept. of Safety, and whoever else I can think of. This needs to be a mission to get this changed.1 point

I am in there. HCP info has always been public record. We need to lobby our legislators to make it private. We tried before, but Naifeh shot it down. (BTW: Naifeh is in the database)1 point
