  1. No we just need to go back to what our founders set-up.And most of all we need to have accountability returned.Yeah there may not be much difference between the 2 political parties but that doesnt change my view on voting or any rights that were granted by the sacrifices made by the Founders. These people risked their lives and fortunes for a better way of life.It pisses me off to no end when the "elitest" play down the Constitution as just some piece of paper written by some old men that doesnt apply to this day and age. When in fact it applies more now than it ever has. /rant

  2. The reason racism is still alive and well in America is because it is a cash cow for people like Jesse Jackson and the Rainbow Coalition, Al Sharpton, and politicians who get kickbacks from it, not to mention the NAACP, which wouldn't exist if it weren't for racist attitudes. The irony is that those racist attitudes are coming from within their own ranks. Racism has made them wealthy, just like "global climate change" has made Al Gore wealthy.

  3. A gun is a dangerous weapon. A car is a VERY dangerous weapon. Legislation is also dangerous. None require adequate training. All three are dangerous because of idiots IMHO.

  4. Brady nut by your own admission. This is how they get in man, they get "greater good" ideas in your head. Once they're in, you can't get them out. You don't see a NEED for high capacity so you would set yourself against it? You would probably support national Id's and a national gun owners license too yeah? I wipe crap like this off my shoes before I go in at night. No guns in bars???? That's the same filthy hippy rhetoric the Brady camp spews everyday. Like some permit holder is going to belly up to the bar and get hammered like the old west. Churches are private and as long as the CHURCH [not you or any law making body] says it's cool, it's just like any business that welcomes permits or forbids it with proper posting. How are you going to get a stronger background check??? Go back to waiting periods?? AND gun show loop holes huh? There IS NO GUN SHOW LOOPHOLE!! When will you people get that in you thick head. It's no different at a gunshow than in your own living room. If two law abiding citizens with no priors want to sell/buy a gun to/from one another, it is perfectly legal. SO, that would mean you want to do away with private sales? Well, I'm one who's willing to fight about that. Good Day True Grit, do some soul searching, your priorities are misaligned.

  5. This is ridiculous. I am a full time student at TSU and I feel I need my gun most down off Jefferson. October 27th 2010 another TSU student was shot but killed at Jefferson st right out of the gates. We need to get the law passed where us students can carry!

  7. Nothing to see really, other than my theory will be proven. Stay home in November, or vote for some 3rd party spoiler. Barry will thank you. Vote for Ron Paul in the primary, I will. But I know I will vote for whomever the Repub is in November. We cannot have 4 more years of Obama.

  9. I wish we could change your mind and others like you on this, it's to important of an election to let principles get in the way. It will discourage me too but we have to get this man out of office. ABO in the General.

  10. Early voting has started and the election is March 6th. Here's the ballot that you should get in the mail. http://www.nashville.gov/vote/docs/ballots/pdf/120306_PresPrimary.pdf Anybody know why and what good is it to vote for these delegates? I've emailed some of them since they are supporting Perry and Huntsman and asked this same question without a response so far. Also would like to know if they are still supporting they candidate under their name.

  11. Amen. Far more important than who wins the nomination is keeping Obummer out of a second term exactly because the next Pres will get to appoint two or more sc justices and many more to lower courts...we can kiss the republic goodby if that happens. A vote for a third party IS a vote for Obummer and for the death of the Republic.

  12. Saw one at the Clinton show. It was only 650. The guy said he has had it for a while and it obviously did because the box had some blue rub marks so has been packed and unpacked a couple of times. I am just not a 1911 guy. It was nice.

  13. Great...another vote for Obummer...just what we need (and extremely shot sighted).

  16. It's a shame that our government and our people can't take a hint from the Canadians. You go through all this stupidity with the gun registration, spend billions, inconvenience everybody, tread on the dignity of the people, find out it DOESN'T STOP CRIME ONE DAMN BIT, and then have to spend years and years trying to back the law out, with the liberals fighting it every step of the way. Tragic, and stupid. I'm wondering how long it is going to take for the Brits and the Aussies to back out of the stupidity, and I wonder if the U.S. of A. is going to avoid going down such a stupid path or run in the other direction.

  19. Yep, government telling us "they know what is best for us". Puuuuleeeaaassseee. I vote for less gov't and less intrusion in the private sector. Good riddance when Obaaaamaaaa and his Beeotch is gone. But hope the next president isn't as bad.

  20. They want to put drones in the air but they can't keep squatters out of public parks. I've had my fill of this dictator, his wife telling kids what to eat and the libs controlling every thing. Four more years of this idiot and we won't be able to recognize this country any longer.

  23. I either checkout in the automotive center or in the jewelry dept. That way I avoid the super long lines at the front of the store. By the way, you can checkout at any register in the store. The only issue is the register in automotives doesn't have a scale so you can pay for produce there.

  26. No good is not really correct. No good would imply a serious flaw (jams, explosions, poor service, falls apart, something). I hate the things, to be perfectly honest. But they are still fine, great quality guns at a reasonable price. No one, not even a hater, can really present a logical argument that the guns are of poor quality or anything like that. From there it comes down to personal prefs. I hate the lightweight build, because it makes the recoil that much worse. The next guy loves the lightweight build, because he hates having to wear a cowboy sized belt to hold up an all steel gun. I hate the trigger, because it does not go bang when you barely touch it. The next guy loves the trigger, because it has that short reset. All that stuff is just opinion and personal preference, though. The ONLY thing that matters is whether YOU like the gun that YOU purchase. If you buy a glock, I am happy for you, I will not be shooting it anyway so my dislike does not matter a bit. Don't let the back & forth get to you. You just asked a question that, while a great question, usually touches a nerve or 3. If someone tells you a gun is no good, listen up but google it later to see if the person is on the level. If a gun has problems, google will tell you (unless it is a brand new model -- in which case you either choose to be the guiena pig or to wait until info comes out). If someone tells you to buy a specific thing because it is the best, put your hand on your wallet and talk to someone else.

  27. It probably would get more attention in the news but legally I think the rules of self defense are still more important. In Tennessee it's essentially reasonable fear of death or serious bodily injury. Worry more about that than about what weapon or ammo you're using. Keep in mind too that in a self defense shooting your weapon will be collected as evidence and it could be a long time, if ever, til you get it back. If you have an expensive registered NFA firearm you'll be saying goodbye to it for a while.

  28. If you like the PX4 better, get the px4. I have sold 2 glocks, and I kept my px4 (subcompact 40). Glocks are just sort of the default gun that people recommend when you ask "what gun should I get" because they do not know what you want but they do know that a glock is reliable, reasonably accurate, and modestly priced. The glock is not better. The px4 is not better. The 1911 is not better either. All these things are subject to opinion only. A few guns have a reputation for jams, malfunctions, breakage, and so on --- and if you see those same remarks about the same brands/models over and over, you should take heed. The rest of the time, select the gun you want and ignore the commentators. However, if you are new enough to guns to be asking this sort of thing, be sure before you buy anything at all. Test fire them if you can, or if a buddy has one or you can rent one. If not, if allowed, dry fire it in the store. The grip, the weight, the balance, the trigger pull, the sights, the controls, those sorts of things are what you want to look at. If you buy that px, for example, then discover afterwards that a sloppy DA trigger is annoying and that you really wanted a single action, it is too late. If you get the glock and then realize that the thing is too light and recoils too hard, same deal. Find out as much as you can before buying because guns are not easy to return at most shops. Even if they allow it you may have to eat the background check fee.

  29. It needs to be loaded if you're carrying it. Nothing wrong with carrying in church. The trouble started when the dumbass pulled the trigger. It's that simple.
