  2. Asian markets are hitting circuit breakers like New Year's celebrations whenever the time zone comes up. Our own futures are looking ugly headed into Monday. Hold onto your butts. https://x.com/unusual_whales/status/1909072078579572971?t=Exwrhc0npJ9niPb6Di2Aew&s=19
  3. The slides are the same length but the Centurion has a barrel muzzle that's flush with the end of the slide, where the standard 92 has a slightly extended barrel. The bigger difference is the straight backstrap Vertec style grip of the Centurion.
  4. Uh...did @FireWatchNash NOT buy this yesterday with his "I'll take it" post? Just curious what's going on.
  5. I think Victorinox is running out of names. My new favorite keychain model is this one. They just call it the Nail Clip 580...not a very clever name, but it's one of the best nail clips I've tried. I carry it everywhere with that little Olight, like @DAdams has.
  6. Those trapazoidal ports are called MAGNAPORTING and they reduce recoil about 15% (for two ports like yours has.) They do a four port setup also, which ups the recoil reduction to about 20%. Anyway, its a pro/plus to have it done on a .44 mag. The ports are cut with EDM (electrical discharge machining). It is very precise and very clean. It leaves no burrs in the barrel whatsoever. Impressive stuff. Beautiful gun that is well setup for hunting. GLWS.
  7. If primarily a range toy, go full size. If you ever have visions of packing it on your person, then the Centurion makes more sense.
  8. I love me some Krystal burgers.
  9. That's what my grandson calls them..."wild corn dogs"
  10. Today
  11. Forgot I had this, don’t really have a use for it. I think turkey season starts next weekend, and this would be a good one to have for that purpose! Reduced to $350
  12. Sorry, not selling mine.
  13. Well, it's been a while since I supported the firearms economy and I was probably overdue. Last week I took receipt of this Walther PDP Pro ACRO models. These are 4.5" bbl guns with slides that are milled specficially for the Aimpoint ACRO footprint rather than using an interchangeable plate system. They also include the ACRO 3.5 MOA optic as part of the package, along with tritium night sights, the improved PDP Performance Trigger, aluminum magwell, and three (3) 18rd magazines with extended aluminum baseplates. My 4-inch Walther PDP Compact with Holosun 509T is my EDC and absolutely one of my most favored hanguns, so when I decided to pick up something new it was a no-brainer to do another PDP and the Pro ACRO pacakge was even more of a no-brainer. This gun will predominately be a duty firearm. For me duty means volunteer service on my church security team and also any gigs I might pick up as a Tennessee Armed Guard license holder. I do not foresee myself carrying this concealed IWB very often, instead preferring to carry it in a concealed OWB holster or an overt Level III holster. So far, I am digging it. The price of the overall package was far less than the total sum of the individual components. I am no stranger to dot optics but this is my first Aimpoint ACRO and I can see why these get such good ratings. They are built like tanks and the glass is crystal clear. I do wish that it had an automatic brightness adjustment, particularly a front-facing auto-adjust sensor like the Trijicon RMR HD has, but no dice. The battery life of the P2 version ACRO is so signficantly improved over the original, however, that I am not too concerned about the lack of auto-adjustment for the sake of power savings. I do have a ZR Tactical staineless steel captic recoil assembly with a 17lb spring on order, similar to what I run in my PDP Compact. These RSA's have proven to be reliable and address the over-sprung condition of the PDP in stock form. It made a world of difference in my split times and ability to track the dot with my Compact, so I hope it will be the same with this gun too. I'll check back in after a few hundred rounds and maybe a class or two and let you know how it's going. Big thanks to Thompson's Station Armory, my preferred FFL. Jonathan is a TGO member and a good dude. If you get a chance to support him, please do. He is a small business owner and has one of the most impeccably appointed and generally coolest stores you are likely to find. I'm saying this as a customer who pays full price, too, because I believe in what he's doing and what to see him succeed. As the founder, owner, and admin of TGO, I get to plug businesses who aren't vendors. It's good to be the king, right? But know this: If I advocate for them, they are squared away.

  14. One may lose "value" but unless you sell after a drop there is not a lose. I try not to over react one way or the other. As others have said here look long term, or that's what I keep telling myself.

Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with. Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete. Your experience will help others. Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun! None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction. They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns. DON'T DO IT. Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO. Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye. The complete Trading Post Rules and also some more helpful suggestions can be found by clicking this link.
