Hey, I know this post is pretty old, but I just wanted to chime in about Shooter's Supply. I got a membership a short while ago. I've really been enjoying it. I hadn't been in since it had changed hands. Such a better experience. Keep at it. Y'all are doing a great job. And thanks for the offer of your help and knowledge.

There tank actually went out so I'm just now supposed to be getting it this week or next week. We shall see. I will post pictures here when I get it.

Thanks for the comment. I appreciate your input. I ended up trying Jays Hydrographics in Bessemer Alabama. Just sent it off yesterday so we will see when I get it back in a few weeks.

That's about the only thing I never got into. I sourced it out when I got hydro customers back in SoCal. Huge variety in talent - take a look at several examples of prior work before committing. Sorry I'm not more help!

Yes. I love AKs myself and have a lot of parts but it is very hard to order AK accessories through the stores distributors.

I was just in there last week picking up a B5 Sopmod stock and looking for more AK stuff. Sadly wasn’t much in there for them, but that’s life lol. Welcome to Chattanooga

Hello Chattanooga locals. I am new to the area from FL. Just wanted to make a post to get to know everyone and possibly we can help each other out. I have a lot of experience in the firearms business and I work on my own guns. Lots of garage gunsmithing. I have some tools and experience with ARs. AKs. Glocks. SIG’s. And other platforms (more modern guns) if you need any help. I don’t have heavy machinery or a mill but I can help with the basic stuff. I work as an instructor and sales at Shooters Supply in Hixon TN but on my off time I’m always messing with guns. In FL I had lots of friends and connections and it was always easy to buy/sell/trade and help each other amongst friends and I would like to do the same here. if you ever have any questions or would like my opinion I’ve owned and shot most modern firearms just hit me up. im on the forums and IG as Foxjordan22

I know that feeling. Our 5 year plan turned into a 3 year plan turned into a "Well, time to hit the road" plan. Bought property on the hill around 2018. Wanted to get 25 years into the pension before we left. Covid hit. My department shutdown. Wife was able to work remote. Property taxes were going up. Bought back some .mil time and got 20 yrs in the pension. Sold the house Mass and started building down here. Added an in-law to the build and my mother moved with us. Went from turning wrenches to building service trucks. Best decision ever.
