Yeah. We do need some prices. Cautiously interested.

One thing I am not clear about is the auto stepdown feature of the COA sight. I like to leave my sights on, at a high enough level that they can be readily seen even in bright sunlight. We frequently find ourselves going from dim to bright lighting as we transition from indoors to outdoors and I don't want to hope the sight auto adjusts appropriately. Maybe I don't know what I don't know...

I haven't seen one in person obviously, but it looks like a very well thought out mounting process. It should be remarkably durable. One compliant I see/read is "Oh No! Not another mounting system!" LOL I get it. But we truly are still in the development stage of RDS on handguns. And this, for the reasons @TGO David, is, imho, a big step in the right direction of insuring durability. I only have 2 RDS EDC handguns. A G17 with a direct milled RMR and a G19 with a direct milled Holosun 509t. (ATEI) I really appreciate the cross cut mounting done for my 509t. It's rock solid. I do have a 407 Holosun on my Taurus .22 and a 507 on my Shockwave. But that isn't a good comparison to the beating taken by a RDS on a SD handgun slide. And honestly the size of the enclosed emitter of the 509 is not a "mailbox" sized attachment and carries and conceals quite well in my Dale Fricke Archangel AIWB holster. But it has a large enough window that it's remarkably easy to see. This COA looks to be smaller than the ACRO but with what appears to be a similar sized window. The very clever cut mounting looks like it will sink the sight fairly low allowing use of the proprietary Glock sights. And it looks to be strong. We'll see. I have no desire for one at this point in my life for one. But I'm interested in following this evolution. I think it's a pretty unique and clever collaboration. Just my opinion.

Same here. IIRC it had a starter on the floor. And of course a dimmer switch. Found a familiar pic!

I actually couldn't get the link to load and play. I did a copy/paste to youtube and listened a few minutes ago. Powerful song, a gut punch as mentioned. Thank you for posting @Alleycat72

I'm giving the family fresh pepper spray and an inert trainer unit. Just trying to be practical... and I wanted a fresh couple of units for myself https://pompepperspray.com/ Oh, and cash.

I am so sorry to read this and Prayers sent for Aueagle and his family, and all touched by this loss. Extra prayers for you and yours Greg. God Bless to all.

I haven't fired one but did get to handle, dry fire, and take the slide off of one and "look under the hood" yesterday. The range was busy, so just a quick look. It's very "Gen 3 Glock" like. The grip feels good to me, but I long ago shortened and modified my well worn G19 and this Ruger is very similar. The trigger is good for a Glock-like trigger, Smooth and no glitch, moderately short reset. ETA. I shoot factory Glock triggers fwiw. A lot of the parts looks interchangeable with Glock. I definitely like the sights. All metal instead of the Glock placeholders, good sized and clear to see with my aging eyes. Definitely like these sights. The slide has plenty of holes to accommodate a RDS. From what I've seen online with various RDS mounted there is a need for a quality adapter as the slide does not support a RDS fore and aft. (My slides are milled so I'm biased). Hopefully one will go into the rental rotation soon and I'll get to shoot one. It has potential. But I've been disappointed before LOL Time will tell.

2.7/148 is THE classic .38 load. I use Missouri Bullet Company coated DEWC. Very accurate and mild recoiling. As a matter of fact I have some in my range bag for tomorrow. My Model 10 Smith loves them,

Welcome to you and yours Damien. To quote "Bob Lee Swagger", “Welcome to Tennessee, patron state of shootin' stuff.” -
I think Titegroup is a decent powder personally Bill. My preferences are W 231, Unique, and Bullseye. But I'm happy to have any usable powder these days. I have loads that I worked up using Tiegroup and several other powders for 9mm, .38 spl, and .32 H&R Mag/Spl as these are the rounds/calibers I shoot the most. Having options is always a good thing.

OH, I would be hesitant about factory seconds. But that's only as long as I can get primers at a semi-reasonable price. I would never say never,

I've been using SA primers (Small pistol) for better than a year now, several thousand in both 9mm Glocks and all manner of S&W and LCR revolvers. .38 spl. .357 and .32 S&W long and .32 H&R mag. They work great. I've seated them on my Dillon and with my Lee single stage press without problems. FWIW all of my Smith Revolvers have either standard or Wolff standard powder rib mainsprings. Of course the LCR's set off pretty much anything anyway. I have a buddy back in Louisiana that has had good experiences with Ginex. I haven't tried them. I've purchased a fair amount of either pulled or blemished 9mm bullets from American Reloading, but no primers. But I'm tempted to try some Ginex. American Reloading ships their bullets fast, no extra charge and by FedEx. Good solid company from my experiences.

@BigK I believe that was David (Mosley?) (DLM or DLM37015). There's some discussion about him in another thread. Great guy and very knowledgeable. Lot's of good folks in this thread: https://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/133656-762x39-gunpowder/#comment-1744353 @Bill P I haven't seen much of any Alliant Powder for a while now. And $40.00 - $50.00 + for pound when you do see it. And that's usually with Hazmat/shipping or some sort of extra. I have a few pounds left from the more reasonably priced days and delegate it to specific favored .38 loads.

Already have my DVR, or whatever it's called these days, set and ready to watch and record! Definitely a big Taylor Sheridan fan and have high hopes for this last season.
