  1. My usual process has been buy online, pick up from FFL. EZ PZ, Doing it that way for years. Saves time and 10% on any purchase plus free shipping....No high blood pressure, Just a lot of time wasted w the whole ID thing.IMHO, if you pass TIC and have 1 or more gov issued photo Id, w address you should be good to go, and after spending over 500 in the store.. after all the BS, getting a safety lecture etc...they could have at least said thanks..DL was valid, they kept asking for the paper that went with it, said I dont carry it or get pulled over, dont have to have it and any officer can run my dl regardless of displayed date.. All good, first and last time for everything...Ive shopped there once or twice usually when the ol lady wanted to go, but never bought guns as theyre always at retail or carried bryco, taurus and other crap id never own..at least the gift cards got used and im done
  2. FN Reflex MRD, am happy with it so far
  3. Came across an FN pistol I wanted. Had a bunch of gift cards from my ex that been sitting on the bench for a few years. Getting this FN from Bass Pro and using the cards would save me 100 bucks So I ordered the thing online, the website says it’s in stock in Nashville. No one else had it that I usually do business with. Pay for the thing, then find out in stock and available same day does not mean that they actually have it in stock, and it doesn’t mean that they have it for you to pick up on the same day, go figure. A week goes by I get an email telling me that it’s there and I can pick it up. The store advertises they close at nine. I show up at 6:45, there’s a sign on the door that says they now close at eight. I go inside wait about 30 minutes for the clerk helping somebody else, explain to him on there to pick something up. Clark tells me I cannot pick it up because they now close at eight and it’s after seven and they never be able to get a TIC check done in time. Explain to him I live an hour and 15 minutes away from here, if they’re changing hours and have restrictions on pick up they should at least say something when they tell somebody to come to the store to pick up their order. Clerk says give me a minute. He comes back out opens the computer so we can knock out the 4473. It is now 7:10 PM. I blow through the 4473 on their computer, TIC check comes back in five minutes all clear good to go. I gave the clerk my drivers license, he looks at it says it’s expired I can’t use it. I explained to him it’s a CDL, DHS mails them to your home after you renew in person, it was valid when I made my purchase, it’s still valid, only the date on the card is off if someone wants to run it right now they would see it’s valid for another eight years or whatever it is. Bottom line is they made me run back-and-forth to my vehicle four times to grab everything from my HCP, vehicle registration and one other form of ID to get this done. It was after 8 o’clock when I finally got out of there. No thank you, no we appreciate your business, no thank you for your patience nothing. All they did was run my crap and make me read this basic safety document and sign off on it and that was it. Was definitely not worth 100 bucks I saved to go through all the aggravation and BS standing there like an idiot for an hour waiting for them to figure out what they needed to do next. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe all I had to show them was a photo ID, and verify my address which I did with four different documents and IDs. Bass Pro oughtta stick with selling worms and fishing poles cause buying a gun at that place is anything but nice…. I mean hell did I miss the memo or the warning post? Ran mode off
  4. Hey all, fwiw, we have a load of volunteers that have been flying supplies to many of the small airports in areas that have been hit hard. Weve been supplying a lot of items w exception of gasoline and flammables. If you or anyone you know has been hit and need supplies, go to your local airport, ask the personnel on site for whatever it is you're needing. Please don't turn this into a f FEMA thread, Check local small airports. If you need more help DM me ill direct or help as best as I can. Its a real shlt showout there, don't believe everything as " seen on tv"... and the big agency is not being proactive. We have 2 groups on FB, Carolina Aviation Network and Music City Air Force. Great places to monitor for help and status of goods avail at local airports! Peace DB
  5. good stuff with some good comments I used to rep a gun lube/cleaning product line. been through the biodegradable vs this that and the other lotsa stuff out there, they all work, but my go-to is still mobile1 with a dash of synth transmission fluid. Used CLP and everything under the sun...still like hoppes 9 and non chlor brake clean for those fun-filled cleanup. good old HF ultrasonic cleaner works wonders on those pesky little parts and bolts
  6. Just left coffee co gun show, lotsa old stuff, bone handled knives etc… was chatting w a seller who told me ken Arnold passed on. He was a utg dealer, and was the guy w all the tiny parts kits for ar and ak you would see at many gun shows… . Not confirmed but figured I’d post. Super nice guy!! Hate to see him gone if true. He was the guy u would see for a pin or spring on a Sunday to finish a fix or build!
  7. This made me laugh, no its not mine but it is local LOL!!! . Enjoy!
  8. red flag law. sounds like the same BS Hitler prob used in his heyday.Unfortunately most don't know about that, they're busy fighting over beer can labels. You want to talk about doors getting kicked in, this is the closest thing to making it perfectly legal.Imagine if all the mommies basement dwellers had a list of owners to call in on, and just made #### up... like scorned women in a divorce... cant make this bs up...
  9. ^^^^^ Exactly^^^^^^^^
  10. so now hes a "wholee roller"...
  11. i need to measure a vehicle's cargo area, will get back w u
  12. Brought to you by the folks that never win against outlaw clubs they investigate for years, distributors of weapons that kill other gov agents,, and like to shoot up churches and children while serving warrants based on hearsay....useless agency. More cowbell. dont need a fng wrist brace anyway...just use the old spray and pray method, go brandon
  13. Not so sure if I like this or not, prices will go up 40%, the aus company will probably run it into the dirt, they’ll probably only sell to military here and outside of the US and that will be the end of it. Just want Brandon and the other elective mental cases want. I’ll hold onto my rec seven probably be a collectors item before long.
  14. This what happens when the lunatics run the asylum.
