If you like neoclassical guitar shredding check out Dan Mumm. That guy is awesome!

Joe Bonnamassa is a great player. Unfortunately, I've heard he's not a very nice person. And sometimes I think he sounds a little too much like Eric Johnson.

Sure couldn't tell that by his interviews and appearances, at least from what I've seen.
Plenty of him on YouTube to judge from.

Looks like Joe is still on his release an album every six months track. His Live tribute to Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf played at Red Rock Colorado just came out. It's a little bit of a different album for him. He relies on a full band to help him out. All the focus isn't on Joe, but it still sounds great, and has the signature Joe guitar playing and his vocals.

I got the new Red Rocks CD and DVDS this week and think it's his best work, excellent to say the least.

Nice tribute. I had just discovered Joe in the last couple years. I'm 45 and was surprised to have never come across him. As I love my music. He is an outstanding musician. This topic made me think of "Riveria Paradise" by Stevie Ray Vaughn for some reason. Thank you.

Ever hear Sungha Jung play?  You should like this little fellar.  He has hundreds of video on youtube.  I have all his albums autographed, I ordered them from Korea.
He even makes crappy songs good!

Very good. But I like Sungha a little more. Just personal preference. His style is just more to my liking, a bit cleaner, I guess because it's a single guitar rather than a duet.

Pretty stoked... I just got tickets to go see Joe B in Knoxville in November. It's been a long time since I've been to a bonafide rock concert, and this one should be great.
